So sorry it's been ages since I've updated, but here's a quickie. There will be this chapter, then one following and then we will say goodbye to these lovelies for now.

Enjoy!

Sharon woke quietly. She observed her surroundings and marveled in the warmth by her side.

Been a long time since this was welcomed, Sharon thought pleasantly as she watched the slow rise and fall of Andy's chest and the sun rises in the distance. She laid there, watching the perfection in front of her. Nothing could be better. And it couldn't have been. Something had changed from yesterday to today, it was an overnight thing and it wasn't the sex that was the change. The good sex at that, Sharon thought with a smirk as she slowly moved from the bed, muscles tight in places that hadn't been worked in a while. She never regretted that night.

As many good things come, many good things must go. The last day of the conference approached quicker than expected. Sharon hadn't gotten much sleep at night, she was busy elsewhere and didn't mind it all.

She zippered the last suitcase and looked around the hotel room that had barely been occupied. With a sigh, she felt as if she was leaving a honeymoon, Sharon wheeled her bags from the room into the hall.

John, Samantha, Sharon, and Andy stopped in the airport for a quick bite of lunch. Last good byes were shared over the bill. John and Samantha made their way to the terminal as Andy and Sharon dallied ways behind.

"What did you think of this whole experience?" Sharon said, trying to fill the void between them.

Andy thought for a minute then said, "I learned that you're great in bed." Sharon slapped his arm playfully and blushed. Andy gently bumped her shoulder and adjusted his grip on their carry-ons. Sharon didn't attempt conversation after that. They watched a few flights land and take off until theirs as ready.

Sharon and Andy sat next to each other, Sharon had the window seat.

"This is your captain speaking. We should be landing at LAX in just under four hours. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the flight. Thank you."

"Oh, Captain, my Captain," Andy muttered with a smile. Sharon smirked too. She reseted her auburn hair against the side of the plane and looked out into the night. "Hey," Andy whispered, leaning into Sharon a bit, "Get some rest. I bet Pope will have a task for us when we land."

"Mmm," Sharon hummed, tilting her head towards Andy. She placed a caste kiss on his lips and then rested her forehead on his shoulder. "You should rest too."

"I will," Andy said with a smile.

Three hours and forty-five minutes later, the Captain announced they would be landing shortly. Andy and Sharon were both asleep on the other's shoulder. Andy was the lighter sleeper of the two, and woke with a small smile. He breathed in the sweet lavender sent from Sharon's hair. Placing a sweet kiss on the crown of her forehead. He stared at the peace her features were at when she slept. Just like the other morning, he couldn't take his eyes off her. He wanted nothing more than to just leave her in peace. He wanted nothing more than to be the only man to ever see her at peace like this; curled against his side looking very content.

But life goes on and so must their missions.

"Sharon," Andy whispered, "Honey, it's time to get up. We're landing." Gently, Andy peppered Sharon's cheeks with kisses. Her eyes fluttered opened.

"I don't want to move," Sharon mumbled, tucking herself farther into Andy.

"I know," Andy breathed. He took one last moment of peace, then slowly detangled her from him. "Come on, we've got to get back." Sharon yawned and shot Andy a glare as she stretched and watched over the plastic seat as people in the front of the plane started to file out groggily. Andy grabbed her purse and carry-on bag from the overhead along with his small suitcase.

Sharon took her bags from him and slowly departed from the plane. Andy stood by her sided, his arm loosely hanging off her shoulders. Her head rested sleepily against him again as they waited for the bag carousel to start. Sharon's bag was towards to beginning and once they had grabbed that, they were set to go. On the way down the escalator, Sharon had briefly shut her eyes and shifted her weight heavily against Andy's solid frame.

"I'm really tired," Sharon complained.

"Sharon!"

Sharon's eyes snapped opened. That voice sounds familiar, she thought as her eyes gazed widely around.

"Sharon!"

"Jack!" Sharon called back as she saw him at the bottom of the moving staircase. Sharon pushed off Andy and clunked down the escalator at a surprising pace considering she had three bags. She dropped all of them at an even more surprising speed and lunged herself into Jack's arms. Andy watched a bit shocked as Jack spun Sharon around. He also watched as Sharon passionately kissed Jack square on the lips. Andy cleared his throat as he approached the two.

"My apologies, lad," Jack said. "Jackson Raydor, Sharon's boyfriend."

"Andrew Flynn, her partner," Andy said with a forced smile as he felt tiny pangs bounce around in his chest.

"I thank you for caring for her on this trip. I wasn't too happy to know she'd be gone for long and be so far away. I was glad to her from her that you had taken great care of her around all the others. I'm a law student and been trying my hardest to get away to see her…" Jack explained as he pulled Sharon closer to him and she hugged his side lovingly, suddenly looking not so tired. "Well anyways, thank you again."

"See you tomorrow, Andy. Thanks," Sharon whispered.

"No problem. And yeah, see you tomorrow," Andy muttered. He watched as Jack kissed Sharon and then took her bag and lead her from the airport to his waiting car.

Andy sighed and rolled his bag from the airport to his rusty red Peugeot 304 coupe.

"What had I been thinking?!" Andy scolded himself.

Jack had gotten Sharon home safely. Sharon didn't invite him up stating she was tired and a bit jet lagged.

"I'll be fine for, say lunch tomorrow?" Sharon asked hopefully.

"Sounds great, I'll pick you up around noon."

"Perfect," Sharon said as she placed another passionate kiss on his lips before gathering her bags and heading for her apartment.

With the quick turn of her keys, Sharon was home. She had barely set her bags down before she was rushing for the toilet to empty her stomach.

And the sickness wasn't from jet lag.

So sorry it's taken me so long! But your reviews still mean the world to me! :*)
