I tried to make this chapter longer, so hopefully I achieved that goal. For some reason I have been really inspired to write and I hope this inspiration continues, for all of our sakes. XD Don't forget to review if you liked this chapter!

~ Until next time

"Good luck young master!" As the master and butler duo prepared to leave the estate the rest of the staff took their turns in saying farewell. Even though the weather had not cleared for days, the servants were still present on the steps towards the front door like they should.

"Do your best!" After finny said his parting words, it was the maid's turn to speak. Despite having glasses that covered her eyes, the young earl could see the stream of tears quite clearly.

"When you come back I'll make a feast for ya!" Bard declared, raising his clenched hand proudly into the air.

"Ho ho ho."

"Thank you all for such kind partings." Ciel said as he stood upon the first step of the carriage, "Now listen up. I have orders for each and every one of you." Everyone that was outside was now drenched in rain, but as the earl continued to speak they would stand motionless. "As of now Sebastian and I will be on an assignment that was given to me from The Queen. I do not know how long it will take, nor do I know when we will return. But until then, complete your daily tasks as usual, and if you somehow manage to finish early, you may do as you please."

"Yes sir!" Saluting their beloved master with smiles on their faces, the trio of misfits replied to earl. With no more words to say Ciel waited for the door to be opened so he may step inside. Once that task was completed and he could the plush fabric against his damp clothing the earl sighed.

"Now, I have some instructions for you as well." With an uncharacteristic smile forming onto his lips the butler spoke calmly; the simple act nearly scared the servants to wits end. "If the young master and I return to find the manor in ruins, you do know what will happen correct?" The same images of countless scoldings, endless lectures, and many images of a displeased and angered Sebastian filled the minds of the frightened staff. "And we don't want that," breaking his smile the Phantomhive butler scowled, his eyes staring at the people he called nuisances, "do we?"

"N-n-no! Mr. Sebastian, sir!" Finny said clearly trembling with fright.

"We'll make sure not to mess up!" Mei-Rin said, also in fear.

"Good." Sebastian said, "I'm pleased to see that we have an understanding. The young master and I will be going now." Sebastian was now sitting in the driver's row with the reigns in his hands. With a swift motion of his wrists the horses began to move forward and into the woods.

"You seem rather pleased." Ciel spoke calmly while reading his letter yet again, "We should head towards my summer home. Regardless of the season we need a place to form a plan."

"But of course, my lord." The muffled voice of his butler rang into Ciel's ears.

"Do not speak to me again until we have reached our destination, that's an order." With a smirk on his face the demon followed the orders from his prey, allowing the sounds of hooves trotting along the path to be the only sound.

...

The journey they took was only a few short hours, by this point the tired horses were placed in front of the main entrance into the summer home.

"We have arrived, young master." Sebastian spoke once again as he opened the door for the young earl.

"It would appear so." Ciel replied as he stepped out of the carriage he had been sitting in for hours. Knowing that the carriage was unloaded and neatly placed away the noble moved towards the entrance, his servant was not too far behind.

"I shall prepare your tea right away, young master." The butler said with a smile on his face, assisting the earl with entering the building.

"Very well then, I shall be upstairs. Come as soon as the tea is ready." With steps ascending up the stairs the earl finished his sentence and vanished from his butler's sight. Despite from stepping one foot inside the home for months, the place was as spotless as it ever will be.

"Are you satisfied with the overall appearance, my lord?" With a silver tray laid flat against his palm, the butler announced his arrival.

"It will have to manage." The boy said quickly.

"Now as for the assignment, do we have any leads?" The butler asked.

"The only thing we have is that the children are ended up missing."

"And that's all we have?" Sebastian asked with uncertainty.

"That is all, why?"

"My lord, you are well aware that I am one hell of a butler, but even I can't solve the mystery without a decent lead."

"What are you proposing?" The earl asked, already knowing the answer before it was given.

"There is someone we must see." Sebastian said as a smile formed his face, "So let's set out. After all, another day gone means another missing child."

...

"Do we really have to do this now?" Standing inches away from the shop's door Ciel asked uncomfortably to his butler, "Why couldn't I have my tea first? Now I can't think straight!"

"Because, young master, you need to stop avoiding this situation."

"Yes, indeed, but why must we do it now?"

"We don't have much time to waste, sire. Come, I'm sure he is expecting us." Upon opening the door, the sound of jingling bells momentarily filled the air. The surroundings of the shop was very dark in itself. Coffins decorated majority of the surface, and silence covered the rest.

"Hello!" Ciel called out, "Undertaker! Are you in?" The soft sounds of laughter started to fill the air, and as the undertaker emerged from the coffin he was hiding in the sound became more defined.

"My, my, what a pleasant surprise this is." The undertaker laughed after completing his sentence, "Welcome Earl Phantomhive. Are you here to pick out your coffin today?" He asked bluntly.

"No, that's not why I'm here." The time of annoyance was hinted in the young boy's speech, "We are here to discuss of an issue that's been concerning our queen."

"Oh yes." The man with silver hair said with a few chuckles, "I'm quite aware of this situation."

"That's exactly what I want to hear. Now, tell me all-"

"Uh uh uh!" Waving his index finger in a slow matter the Undertaker interrupted the Earl from speaking, "That's not how it works here, Earl. Even you should know that by now."

"Fine." Ciel sighed, "What do you want?"

"I want the best that an earl can offer!" The madman said, "Just give it to me already, and all you want shall be yours. Heheh, please, give it to me my lord, I'm beggin' yah! Kekeke, give me the gift of true laughter!" No matter how many times the two went into this shop the price for information was always the same. "And it's safe to say that the butler will pay?"

"Wrong." Ciel said, his only visible eye staring at the Undertaker, "I shall be the one to pay the price. Sebastian!" spinning on his heel the earl faced his pet, "Go outside and do not come In until the price has been paid. That's an order!"

"Yes, my lord." Bowing for his master with nothing but respect, Sebastian did as his master instructed and made sure to close the door behind him.

"Well well, this certainly is different." The undertaker muttered to himself, "I'm in for a real treat aren't I?"

"We shall see." With determination written all over his face Ciel was willing to do whatever it took for his Queen.

"Don't think that I'll make this easy on you Mr. Earl. I am use to your butler's humorous jokes, so don't assume you'll be done so fast."

"I don't intend on it."

"Whenever you are ready heheheh." Ciel could feel his heart pound against his throat, his mind racing with different ideas but non of them seemed to work out.

"Before we begin I must tell you one thing first." The boy said, "I wasted a whole pot of fine tea just so I could come and see you."

"Oh my." Covering his lips with his black sleeve the insane adult cackled, "I can't believe I'm that important to you. I'm flattered." Seeing as that had no effect on him in terms of humor Ciel scowled as his tried to come up with a new tactic. "Did you think that would work?" the man with long hair questioned in disbelief, "Surely that wasn't what you were thinking!"

"I am not a comedian you know." Ciel said crossly.

"Let me ask you a question, my lord." The undertaker said with a wide grin, "Why do you do all of this work for another human?"

"You may see her as just another human." The earl replied, "But in my eyes I see her as Her majesty, the ruler, and leader of us all. No matter what obstacle she sends me I shall do as she requests. If being said if she wishes me to give her my life I shall do so. There isn't anything I wouldn't do if it was for my queen." Just as the nobleman finished his short speech about his admiration for the Queen the other simply couldn't help himself. He tried his best to contain his laughter, but by doing so he only made the situation worse for himself. Once he released his grip over his mouth the air filled with the sound of laughter.

"That was amazing.." His laughter continued for only a few moments, but once the butler reentered the shop, the howls have subsided back to a soft chuckle. "Absolute bliss."

"There, I have done my part. I have paid your price in full, now it's your turn."

"How may I be of service?"

...

Meanwhile, back at the Phantomhive estate the servants were doing their best at doing their tasks. Rain still continued to pour and Mei-Rin had no other option but to wash and hang the clothes all inside the laundry room. Finny was portraying as the maid's assistant since he was unable to tend to the garden.

"Be careful!" The maroon haired girl chuckled, "The clothes line will fall if you're not aware."

"I'm sorry." The boy said sheepishly, "I guess I still have a lot to learn when it comes to controlling my strength."

"I'm sure you'll control your problems in no time!" She said with enthusiasm.

"So what's next on our cleaning list?"

"Polishing the stair rails. And I already have the polish on me so let's get right to work."

"Okay!" The two colleagues made their was to the grand rails within a matter of moments and as Mei-Rin opened the jar something was clearly not right.

"Wait Mei!" Finny yelled, "That's not the right jar!"

"What do you mean it ain't the right jar?!" The girl in pig tails declared.

"That's shoe polish!" The Gardner said, "If I hadn't stopped you the rails would be ruined forever!"

"Then Mr. Sebastian and the young master would be disappointed in me!" She declared, "Thank you for saying that before it was too late!"

"Well, well, well, what's going on over here?" From behind the two the voice of chef Bardroy.

"Funny just saved my life, he sure did!" The maid replied with a large grin, "What about you?"

" I ran out of smokes." The man said, "I'm down to my last one. So I wanted to say that I'm about to set out. Would you like me to bring you anything."

"All I want is to have the young master and Mr. Sebastian returned to us safely." Mei said longingly.

"Yeah, I'm afraid I can't pay to have a mystery solved." The chef said, "What about you fin?"

"I want some sweets!" The gardener said without hesitation.

"You got it kiddo." Bard said with a smile, "If I leave now I should make it back in two days."

"You're walking into town?!" The maid gasped.

"I have no choice." The chef replied, "I don't have a ride."

"If it's a ride you desire, you're more than welcomed to use my steed." Deciding to show herself Cecilia joined the three in conversation.

"No thanks." Changing his attitude upon an instant Bard scowled at the women in dark hair, "I'd rather walk than ride anything you were near." He said lowly.

"I'm sorry you feel that way towards me." Sebastian's sibling replied, "But I have a request for you. Would you mind getting me some fresh apples? Granny Smith if you would please." She handed the chef an abundance of coins. Even though his eyes looked like they could create bloody murder the angered chef took the coins and shoved them into his pocket.

"I'll be back in a few days." He said as he was heading to the front door, "If I happen to see the young master, I'll tell him you all said hi."
