The Time Stop:
Chapter Ten:

"Sam! Tucker! Wait up!"

The pair turned around to find Jazz running out the front doors of the school. They paused in their path allowing the older girl to catch up to them. The three teens then proceeded to make their way down the street, away from the school.

They walked in complete silence for the first few minutes before it finally became too much for Sam to stand it anymore.

"So... " She started as she turned to face the red-headed genius beside her. "How did it go?"

She did not need to elaborate any further because it was obvious to all three of them what exactly she was asking about.

"Actually, it wasn't too bad." Jazz replied softly. "I managed to compose myself well enough before my first class started and only a few of my friends even noticed that something was up with me today. Thank g-d they didn't decide to push me too hard for answers and they let it go."

Tucker snorted. "At least one of us had it easy then."

"Absolutely everyone we ran into was asking where Danny was. Even the A-listers," Sam added.

Jazz acquired a thoughtful looking face. "Well it must be strange to see the two of you without him around. You guys are almost always attached at the hips."

"I guess," Sam shrugged. "We didn't really tell anyone what happened though. Not yet anyway. It'll only get worse once everyone knows the reason why he isn't at school right now."

"We did have to tell Lancer though," Tucker informed the older teen. "It was kinda hard not to. He's always been pretty pushy. Especially when it comes to Danny and his attendance record."

The three all let out a small awkward chuckle and the conversation stalled. With none of them knowing what to say, they continued down the sidewalk in silence once more.

It was an unspoken agreement that they didn't even consciously make as they all turned down the street that would lead them to the Fenton household. However, what they saw when they turned the corner forced them to come to an abrupt stop.

They stared on in shock at the sight before them, for directly ahead there were no fewer then half a dozen cop cars. All parked right in front of Fentonworks.

The teens quickly turned to look at one another before suddenly sprinting down the sidewalk as fast as they could. The ran up the path and busted through the front door.

And the sight that greeted them was not an extremely pleasant one.

Hope you enjoyed. Another short one, I know. This was a bit of a filler chapter but it needed to be written. It is setting up for something big to go down in the next chapter or two. I actually had this written back in December but didn't have a chance to type it up until now. Sorry about that. I have not yet decided if the next chapter will be back with the Danny Duo or the Amity Park crew so it shall be a surprise for us all! Either way, I'm pretty sure that a lot of good stuff will be happening!

I shall try to update again before the month is over but as always, no promises!
