The 50 Meetings
Heyoooo! I'm back with more awesomeness! Again, I'm sorry I didn't update, but I already got Locker 27 up and running so please check that out! Also, thanks for the 10 revs, 90 total favs, and the 116 total followers, ! It's amazing! Mwah mwah! :3
This chapter was Caleo. Now, this one was extremely tricky especially after the Blood of Olympus came out (it was good, but not as good as the other books in the series). So... um... Calypso is kinda in the air and Leo is kinda... you know what (don't wanna spoil it for ya guys (:)
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ! OR ELSE THE STORY WILL NOT MAKE SENSE!
So, for the sake of not spoiling the ending of the HoO series. Let's just assume Leo rescued Calypso from Ogygia and lalallallaa... yeah. K. Enjoy.
...
So, I have decided that Calypso was rescued by Leo already. Also, someone asked for more about when they're adults, so next chapter will be adulty. (Percabeth YEAH!) This one is not mortal but demigody... yeah. So enjoy!
...
Cary
Today was the weirdest moment of my life. Let me take you through my day. Refunds will not be allowed.
But first, introductions. My name is Cary Salander, and I am one of the hottest guys in the school, Minerva High. Now now, settle down! No, I will not explain my life in high-school, 'cause it's pretty boring. But I will tell you that I am not your everyday hot guy. I'm not the school bully, and I am most definitely not the meanest person as well.
So let's just skip to the weird part. It all started with a cliché ring at 7:30 in the morning.
...
I groaned as the bell blasted through my ear. I turned it off once my ears started to ring. I sat up in bed, with pieces of my hair sticking out in the strangest places possible. Squinting out the window, beams of sunlight hit my eyes, making them burn.
At least the weather is nice I commented. My eyes flashed towards my room, grimacing at the mess I made yesterday. I flashed my eyes back and saw a monster with long fangs and blood-shot red eyes staring at me like it was planning to burn me to the stake. I gasped and fell backwards, falling into a pile of dirty clothes that I didn't have the time to clean up yesterday. My breaths started to turn heavy as I quickly shut the curtains once the figure disappeared.
That was hella creepy, I rand my hand through my hair, sighing heavily as I picked up my clothes and threw them into the laundry. I then closed the bathroom door and took a shower.
As I got out, I slipped on a simple grey V-neck with dark blue jeans and Jordan's. I quickly brushed my blond hair and stared at the mirror. My brown eyes started to intensify I stared at the mirror.
I dashed out of my room and plopped on two dining chairs. My mom playfully smacked my leg and she poured me milk.
"Hey Cary, ready for school?" she asked, giving me piles of pancakes. I grinned at her and dug in.
"I guess. I saw something weird today though." I responded through my full mouth. My dad lowered his newspaper and looked at me.
"And what is that?" I raised my eyebrow from the sudden interest hat my mom had in this topic.
"I saw something like a vampire. It was so fuckin'-" I explained, interrupted by a glare and a gasp from my parents.
"Cary!" my step-dad scolded.
"What?" my mom's eyes widened.
"What do you mean, 'what'?" I put quotes around the word 'what'. My mom grimaced as she slowly sipped her coffee.
"Never mind son, get ready for school." she looked back into her cup of coffee, with her lips in a tight line like my life was at stake or something. My eyes narrowed but I ran back upstairs to pack up my stuff. I closed my binders and placed them in my backpack, making sure everything was in order. I looked at myself once more and grabbed my phone and ran downstairs.
My dad was already in his regular suit and my mom was reading a book as she sipped some coffee.
"Bye mom!" I said, and she smiled at me and waved back. My dad started the car and we drove towards the direction of our school.
It was an awkward silence until dad spoke up.
"Alright. I want you to remember son," My dad started. I rolled my eyes.
"Be the best. Get all straight A's. And NO dating or having a crush," I responded in a bored tone, I checked my phone for any text messages. My dad glared at me and snatched my phone away.
"What the hell dad?" I yelled.
"What did I tell you about only using your phone for emergencies?" My dad put it in his pocket and I growled.
"Like what emergencies? Getting attacked by a vampire?" I said sarcastically. I saw my dad tense up and look straight.
"You will know later," my dad responded, "no more phone use." I grit my teeth but walked out the door anyway. I slammed the door shut to emphasis on how angry I am. Once I was satisfied with the sound, I walked forward to the school drive-way.
Until, I was blown backwards, surrounded by blood and black goop.
...
I groaned in pain as I woke up with sun burning into my eyes. I blinked a few times as the images started to blur and focus. A girl with long, blond hair stood above me. I have to admit, she was beautiful. Lilies were braided into her hair as they flowed to the middle of her back. Her light pink silk dress flowed down her body as bright eyes bored into mine.
I felt a blush creep up my skin until she fed me a sickly sweet liquid. My breathing got better as I sat up, realizing that I was not at school.
"Where the hell am I?" I said suddenly that the girl stumbled backwards.
"You scared me! Gods, don't do that!" She glared at me as she pulled some of her curls.
"Sorry," I paused as her face softened, "but seriously, where the hell am I?" She rolled her eyes as she walked behind in front of my bed.
"You're at Camp Half-blood. Now rest." she ordered, and suddenly, like a charm, my eyelids dropped and I fell asleep.
And you know what was weird? Images of her never got out of my head.
...
I woke up again in the same place I was in when I saw the girl.
So it wasn't a dream, I mused, and another head appeared in front of me as my eyes focused.
Now he was something else. He was scrawny with curly brown hair and an elf-like face. He was grinning like mad when I woke up as he put away his screwdriver in his pocket.
"Wha-" I started until he cleared his throat.
"GREETINGS STRANGER THAT I SAVED-" he boomed and then whispered, "you should be thanking me by now. Anyway,"
"Wait-" I started again.
"As you can clearly tell, I am Leo, Supreme Commander of Camp Half-blood!" He said boldly, putting his hands on his hips. He then said: "I know, I know, you can admire me later. Now let me ask you one more question. Do you have any siblings- preferably a sister?" he winked and my face turned more confused.
"Leo, stop it. You're scaring him!" The girl came rushing into the door, smacking him on the arm. This time, she was wearing a dark blue dress and her hair was tied into a side ponytail, trailing with violets.
The 'Leo' dude raised his arms up in surrender, "Sorry Calypso, but someone has to remind him that I am his savior!" The girl rolled her eyes. The 'Leo' dude put his hand on his chest in mock-hurt.
"I saved you too!" he teased.
"Don't push it Valdez," the girl glared him and as he chuckled and flexed his non-existent muscles.
"Wait, so you're Calypso... the Calypso?!" I blurted out, staring at her with surprise. The girl smiled.
"That's me,"
"But... you're supposed to be in Ogygia," I said.
"Yeah... but Leo saved me." Calypso blushed and Leo winked at her.
"Wait okay..." the ultimate question popped in my head, "WAIT SO ARE YOU SAYING THAT GREEK MYTH-"
"Gosh, stop screaming, it's hurting my ears," Leo said, "Whoever invented earmuffs is the smartest person on the planet. And yes, Greek Mythology does exist. You can ask Percy for that."
"Who's-"
"Can we not talk about him?" Calypso interrupted. Leo smirked at her and wrapped a shoulder around her.
"Aww... are you afraid that I'm gonna leave you?" Leo put his head on her shoulder as she glared at him.
"No!" she declared, "Maybe!" Leo cracked up and I grinned. I like them.
"Cool, so how long have you guys been friends for?" I asked and suddenly they both magically choked on air.
"Friends?" They said at the same time. I raised an eyebrow. Leo chuckled.
"My man, we are not friends. We are more like... eternally faithful friends," Leo corrected, and Calypso's cheeks burned red.
"You said you wouldn't tell until tonight!" She cried and Leo blushed with her.
"Oops," he admitted. Calypso rolled her eyes. I tried to get off my bed as both of them steadied me. When I walked out of the building, I was suddenly blown away. People ran around in armor shooting arrows and trying to pin each other on the ground. A girl smacked another person straight in the face as they started wrestling in the grass. Leo then came in front of me and smirked.
"Like what you see? I know, I'm smokin' hot. Tickets are not for sale-" Leo ranted as he flexed his muscles.
"So, these are the cabins," Calypso said, drowning out the screams, laughs, and booming of Leo, "You should know who your parent is by night,"
"Wait-" I started. Calypso looked at me annoyed as I blushed, "I already know my parents,"
"You're mortal parents. Say, who's your biological father?" Calypso asked, raising a perfect eyebrow. I flushed red as we stared at each other.
"I dunno," I admitted. Leo grinned a put a shoulder around me.
"You will soon know, my man." Leo walked me to another area, full of tables and a campfire in the middle. Two people walked in as they held hands. The girl had blond hair while the guy had black hair.
"Percy! My other man!" Leo yelled, "Check out the new demigod-"
Demigod.
What? I asked in my mind, Like half human, half-
Oh.
"Cool! I'm Percy," the Percy dude held out his hand as I shook it. I then realized that Calypso was blushing like there was no tomorrow when the Percy dude appeared. She smiled and waved at me.
"Yeah, um... I'm Cary," I said slowly. Percy grinned as the blond girl appeared.
"I'm Annabeth Chase, nice to meet you. I heard about you when you entered, got attacked by a monster. You look like a son of Hermes or Apollo. Do you like architecture? I guess you're gonna be good at-" Annabeth was interrupted when Percy covered her mouth. She huffed and crossed her arms.
"Sorry, my girlfriend is crazy," Percy said and she bit his hand, "Ow!"
I laughed as Calypso led me back to the cabins.
"So, that's Percy and Annabeth, two of the seven that saved the world," Calypso explained as she turned to me. I then realized the freckles that was peppered over the face, defining her beautiful eyes as they swirled around. Her smile appeared as I blushed all the way down to my Adam's Apple.
"You're pretty," I blurted out. I laughed uneasily as she raised an eyebrow.
"So I've heard," she turned away from me and calmly led me to a cabin. It was clear that the paint was re-applied as wings was carved into the wood. As we entered, bunk beds appeared as stashes of Frisbees, Nintendo Wii's, and How to Prank Somebody books were smashed into the bookshelves. Everyone stared at me with curiosity.
"This is where you will be... ah, what's the word... yes! Chillin'" she said this in a gangster-like way, "I think that's what Leo told me... Anyway!" she blushed red, but her color returned as she straightened her back, "This is where you will be chillin' until the night, where you will be claimed. Get to know somebody and stuff like that. Ciao!" she dashed off and slammed the door.
Everyone looked back at me and grinned. They cheered as they surrounded me.
"Dude, you just made Calypso blush!" somebody said.
"Yeah! Leo has some competition!" person #2 said.
"Nahhh, Caleo for the win!" Everyone cheered at the word Caleo and laughed.
"What-" everyone suddenly stopped as I spoke. Suddenly, a person pushed to the front of the crowd. Or... two people. They looked exactly the same except that one person is taller than the other.
"Greetings newbie, Travis-" the taller dude said.
"and Connor Stoll welcomes you!" the other dude said. They grinned at the same time and led me to the campfire again. "You will be claimed soon," They laughed evilly and the cabin walked away.
Okay... I thought, that was weird.
I wandered to the arena as I saw columns surround me. I ran to the ally way and saw paths that trailed down to who-knows-where.
Wow... this is amazing I gasped. I suddenly saw a blond flash diagonally to me. Calypso.
I ran after her, pushing through the trees. When Calypso turned and smiled, I backed away hiding behind a tree. I heard the voices as she spoke.
"Hey Repair Boy. Why do we have to meet so deep in the forest?" she teased, leaning towards...
Leo.
"Because, no one can stand my hotness except you. I know, I'm making you feel special. You should thank me," Leo grinned and wrapped his hands around her waist, pulling her closer.
"Oh my gods Leo," she rolled her eyes and kissed him on the lips. She wrapped an arm around his neck and one tangled in his smog-covered hair, "I love you," she said between kisses.
"I know," Leo smiled. Calypso pulled away and punched him, "OW! What the Cheeseballs?"
"You know you're supposed to say, I love you too, not I know," she crossed her arms playfully.
"Because everyone loves me!" he exclaimed and Calypso laughed. She pulled him in for another kiss. And suddenly she pulled away, putting her hands into her hair.
"You saved me, and I know that-" she started, teary eyed. Leo covered her mouth.
"Don't think about that. It was worth it," they kissed again.
Once it turned out into a make-out section, I blushed and turned away awkwardly.
Those two were meant for each other, I don't know what they did together. But it was big.
I grinned and kicked a stone as I walked back to the campfire. I was already feeling at home.
...
I guess that was my weird day. But I'm sure it's pretty normal for a demigod.
Yeah, that's right. I'm a demigod.
