The 50 Meetings

Yes. I know. I know. I know. Fuck me for not updating for 5000000 years. I know. I honestly have no excuse… I was just so busy with highschool stuff and dealing with my life (alot of family issues came up) that I simply… didn't update. I know guys. I'm a dick. A totally and complete fucking dick.

BUT HERE I AM AGAIN! WITH ANOTHER CHAPTER! Most of you guys probably already forgot me cause it's like 2016 and I didn't update for a year… yeah.

ANYWAY! Thank you guys for your constant reviews! How many did I get? 18 for ch 9 and some more for the other chapters! That's pretty good for me! HAHA! Thanks for always supporting me! I got alot of requests for this chapter: I got Thaluke, Percy x Piper, Leyna, and ALOT more. But since I just came back, I decided to write some Percabeth since I'm a little rusty on these stuff :). SO YEAH! I'll probably do those ships later on in this since we have ALOT of chapters to go!

Here we go! Percabeth :)

Chapter 10: Percabeth

Eric

Yes, I know. This is probably the most cliche thing that will ever happen to me. I mean, who couldn't get enough of those new-guy-falls-in-love-with-popular-girl right?

Okay, maybe I'm not exactly the new guy, and she's not exactly the most popular girl in the school, but it's something like that story line. But she's the only thing I see. And she was probably the only girl who would ever talk to me. She gets that I'm socially awkward, and she understands my shyness, and I probably told her everything about my life.

And then she disappeared for like 9 years.

I mean, come on man, not cool. Why does life hate me again? Oh right, cause I got myself in a lot of shit. And still, she can't get out of my mind. I was already almost 24 years old, and I still can't get over her. And she still didn't show up.

I guess I should explain, right? I mean, everyone wants to know how I met this girl, and what happened to me later on.

Nah, you guys probably care about the hot girl. I kinda only care about her too. First things first: her name is Annabeth.

I was new in this middle school. It wasn't exactly my favorite year-I didn't know anyone in anyway, I never rose my hand at all, and nobody knew me. The only good part in that year was when I met her. Annabeth. I was probably 13 at that time.

I sat in the back of the yard during lunch. It was underneath this tree that perfectly covered me as I sat down in the long green grasses that make the most beautiful of noises as once the wind blows. It matches perfectly with the book I'm reading, and the screams and shouts of the other middle schoolers that would play football in the lawn. It makes me feel like I'm part of that cool group. But obviously I'm not, because I was thin as a stick, and I couldn't throw a football that far if I wanted to. So instead I would listen to my music that I mixed together, and I would enjoy a book that was recommended to me by the librarian.

You should go talk to her one day if you were to visit the library, she's the sweetest lady that I have ever came across. And she's the only female that ever dared to talk to me. She would also sometimes let me play my music in her library.

So yeah, today is a normal day, but abnormal at the same time. Once I went to my usual spot during lunch, another girl was sitting in next to my spot. I stood there like I just forgot what my name was.

"Can I help you?" the girl looked up at me with those fierce grey eyes, like she'd seen the worst parts of the world, and came back. Her golden curls went just past her shoulders and her lips were pursed, like I just threw an egg at her.

"Uh… you're at my area." I awkward said. She was actually quite beautiful, and my fingers were clammy from talking to a person I didn't know.

"Area? Did you write your name on it or something?" She accused, crossing her arms.

I shook my head, "Sorry, it's not that. Uh… no one ever came here until right now."

Her eyes softened. "Oh."

"Yeah."

She stood up and stuck her hand out towards me. Wait what?

"My name is Annabeth Chase. I'm new to this middle school." she waited for me to accept her hand, and I did. I shook her hand, and my stomach felt like it rose to my brain.

"I'm Eric." I could only say. I could also tell that she realized my awkwardness that I'm feeling right now.

"What? Are you afraid of talking to girls?" she teased me, putting her hands on her hips.

"Yeah, kind of." I admitted, and the most beautiful noise rang. She laughed.

"Well, I'm sure we'll get along fine." she said, and sat back down on the grass and enjoyed her lunch. I joined her.

Yeah. I made my first friend. I told her everything about me, and she kind of told me about her family, but I could tell she was holding back a few things about herself. She also asked me for a few of my mix tapes, and because of that, I knew what I wanted to do in the future.

We would hang out in the library and we would joke about those people together who play football in the field. We aced every project together and I have never been so happy in my life. Even my parents were glad that I finally brightened and started striving for what I wanted to do in my life.

And then, after middle school was over, she disappeared, and never appeared again. She would sometimes call me, but it was only for a few minutes before she would hang up and never call again until a few months later. Those few months turned into a year. And that year turned into never again.

Now, I was kinda pissed at that. Why would she leave like that? She just told me she had something important to do, about the friend that she made, and the things about him. Him. Yes, he's a guy. I was jealous, but glad that she was glad.

High school was total hell without her. No one talked to me again. I was excited to graduate high school so I could finally start the career that I've been waiting for.

I was my 23rd birthday, and I was alone, eating chinese takeout, and blasting the mix that I just created. It was probably the best that I've ever made. The drop was sick.

I spun around on my wheely chair and caught a gaze of myself in the mirror that I placed. My hair was gelled up and my skin was tanner, and I stood taller than before. I was still on the thin side, yes, but my confidence definitely grew. I started talking to people, I made one friend. He was my roommate, but we never talk though because I was always in my studio and he was out working. New York is a wild place.

Moments later, a knock in my studio front door appeared. It echoed through the room, and I suddenly stood up. The first person that would enter my studio today. Maybe my mix tapes were finally going out there.

I ran to the door and forced it open, and my jaw dropped. She had golden curls that went past her shoulders, and she was tall and lean, and her grey eyes searched me, like she was figuring out on how to take me down.

"Hi, I was just going to ask if those mix tapes on those windows are for sale. Same goes for the ones you're playing right now." she asked. I didn't respond.

It was her. Finally her. After so long, she finally appeared in my life again.

"Annabeth?" I whispered, and she raised an eyebrow.

"How did you know my name?" she asked. I laughed.

"It's me, Eric!" I grinned when her face shows sudden surprise. Her face brightened, and her tan skin glowed under the lamp light. She was wearing a simple hoodie and skinny jeans with red converse. She was actually shorter than me now, but she still stood proud and tall like she could take over the world. However, her eyes also had a different vibe. They were dangerous, and cautious at the same time. Her eyes had dark grey clouds that swirled in the background like she saw things that people shouldn't see.

That's when I could tell she's been through a lot-so much that I wouldn't be able to understand.

"Eric! It's been such a long time!" She exclaimed, her face and eyes loosening up. "I could see that you got your own studio. It's great, really, your mix tapes are something worth listening to."

I laughed, "Yeah, it's only after you asked me for some back at middle school."

"You changed a lot," she noticed, and I nodded.

"Yeah, decided to change a few things up." I agreed, and she smiled the sweetest smile, and my stomach shot up to my brain again. A feeling that I never felt ever since that day I met her.

"Well, that's great. Mind if you let me in? I would like to buy those mix tapes of yours." she said, and I turned to the side to let her in and shut the door behind me.

"So, where have you been?" I asked, scratching the back of my head. She looked around my studio.

"Around." she responded and I felt uneasy.

"Around where?" I pressed.

"Oh, Europe, and places like that. I had some things to take care of." she said, "How much for these?" she lifted a few of the mix tapes she picked out and I ran towards the cashbox.

"Don't worry about those. Think of them as a gift from me." I said, peeling the tags off of them and she grinned.

"Thanks Eric." she said, and placed them in her bag that was over her shoulder. "It's great meeting you again, you still have my number?"

I nodded, "Of course. Why didn't you pick up when you left?"

"I didn't get a chance to, I'm sorry."

"Oh."

"Yeah." she awkwardly said. "Look, I would love to talk to you again. We could maybe grab a coffee someday? My treat." I smiled.

"Yeah, that's great." I agreed. Her phone rang and she opened it.

"What do you want, Seaweed Brain?" she yelled in her phone. My hair stood up from that sudden voice increase. "Yes Percy-" she rolled her eyes.

There's that name again. Percy. So they've been hanging out for a while too?

She walked to the window and smirked. "If you can find me." she said into the phone. "You're so stupid, I can see you from across the street. No Percy, I am not kidding. I can see you."

Another pause. She laughed. "Fine, fine. I'm at the studio that I always wanted to go to. Remember?" She rolled her eyes.

Suddenly and loud bang at the door made Annabeth yelp. She opened the door and a guy appeared.

Okay, let's admit, he was pretty good-looking.

"You little devil." he said, and Annabeth laughed. "I was lost! I was wandering around this city in the dark alone! What if I get raped and mugged?"

"Oh please Percy. You would respond to them in such a dumb way that they would get sick of you and walk away." she placed a hand on her shoulder in mock understanding.

Percy gasped dramatically. "Annabeth, you bring me to tears. That's not how you treat your-" he saw me and he looked at Annabeth. She looked at me too.

"Oh right, Percy! This is Eric. You know, the person I was talking to you about a long time ago." she pulled Percy in and presented him in front of me.

"Yo," Percy greeted and I said 'Hi' back.

"Eric, this is Percy," Annabeth grinned when she said his name. And my heart dropped.

Percy is so much bigger, buffer, and taller than me. He towered over me and intimidated me. But his laid back personality was so likeable that I couldn't hate him.

"Dude you have some pretty sick beats, no wonder Wise Girl likes them," he complimented and I nodded in return.

"Wise Girl?" I asked Annabeth.

She rolled her eyes, "It's a long story."

Why wasn't I in that long story?

"Can we get food now?" he asked and Annabeth laughed.

"No," she stated and he pouted.

"Please?"

"No."

"I'll give you a kiss,"

She hesitated, and then she narrowed her eyes, "Not gonna work Percy," he leaned in towards her.

"Are you sure?" he said in a low voice. She shook her head, but she grinned like crazy.

"Are you sureee?" he grinned back. Suddenly, she dashed off and Percy ran after her. I was the only person who is confused.

He caught up to her and picked her up and spun her around. They both laughed as Annabeth yelled, "let me down! Let me down!"

Percy stopped and they embraced each other and my stomach dropped down to my legs. They were dating. Of course Annabeth would find somebody better than me and would fall head-over-heels for them. Percy was the perfect candidate.

Annabeth leaned into Percy and pressed her lips on his, and I felt like I wanted to drop and die. "Fine, let's go out for food,"

"Yay!" Percy cheered. "I won,"

"Shut up Percy," Annabeth punched him on the shoulder and pushed him out, "I'll be out in a minute,"

When Percy left, Annabeth looked at me and smiled. "That's Percy for you,"

"Uh, yeah." I said.

"Did I make everything awkward?" she asked, laughing awkwardly.

"No!" I cried, "Uh, it's just that it's all a big surprise for me anyway."

"Oh, well…" she just sighed, "I knew him for a long time. I told him everything about me and he told me everything about him. We've been through too much… too much to separate. You know what I mean?"

"Yeah. Well, I hope you guys stay together. You deserve it Annabeth." I faked a smile and she smiled back.

"Thank you Eric. I really love him, you know?"

I love you too though. I love you so much.

"I'll see you around."

"Bye. Wait! I want you to have this. It would be great if you would come." she handed me an envelope, smiled and closed the door shut, and I sat down, taking a big breath.

Well, that's for all the waiting. The only person that I've loved was gone.

Just like my mom. Just like my dad. Just like my brother.

Just like everything.

But she loves him. And because she's glad, I'm supposed to be glad. I carelessly opened the envelope and read what's in it.

I knew it. I knew she would move on.

You are invited to:

Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson's wedding

Yeah. I knew it. I fucking called it. My story? Something that's not worth mentioning.

I guess I'll keep waiting.

I know. It's so shitty that I'm like so disappointed in myself right now. But I promise it'll be better. Please just hang with me. The update schedule will probably be back to normal. But heheee. I love you guys so much.

More suggestions please! Please review, favorite, and follow!

My goal would be 12? Maybe lower, since everyone forgot! HAHAHAH! I'll keep updating!
