King of Saiyans
Incredible as it may sound, I'm back! I'm sorry it took me SO dam long to finish just one chapter but sadly my life is really getting complicated. So updates aren't top priority in my mind at this moment.
This is the last chapter of my short DBZ story. You should expect a few more short stories like this one in the future. About which series to write about, I'll leave that hanging in the air for everyone to guess.
By the way, my poll is still in my profile for those who also enjoy my Pokemon stories.
With nothing else to say, let's end this awesome story!
Chapter 5: The Future We Make
King Bardock grinned looking at his metropolis from the outside of the balcony of his room. Whatever buildings had crumbled during his war against Frieza had been rebuilt better than ever. A few Saiyans could be seen flying by around the city minding to their own businesses. Others had to be on the new training fields. But for most of the warrior race, they were on outer space or in other planets obeying Bardock's orders.
It had already been two years since Frieza's demise at the hands of the mighty Saiyans. With The Planet Trade Organization losing one of its main and powerful leaders, a lot of power grabbing had started among many factions. The Saiyan race had not been among one of those factions as they no longer cared for what the Planet Trade did. In fact, Bardock had sent groups of Saiyans traveling through many planets ruled by the PT federation erasing one by one their iron-clad rulership, returning the power to whatever national government had been previously established. Although only if these previous governments weren't anything like Frieza if only in a smaller case. To the King and his race, every feeble tyrant had to be exterminated. If they put a good fight or a lame one was only a plus bonus.
This events had lasted for a few months until king Cold had regained most of its trading organization back under his charge. However, some of the now free planets were heavily protected by Saiyan forces. So retaking them was almost a suicidal attempt from the Icejinn part. It was obvious that the monkey-tailed warriors were getting stronger than what his son Frieza had first feared them for. Specially if they were in packs or in a planet with constant full Moons. With his organization severely worn out and with less resources, the tyrant of the Planet Trade had no other option than to make a peace treat with the Saiyan King immediately stopping any violent actions between the two armies. Bardock had snickered while signing it. He had bet it would be a few months until something happened to make the shit kick the fan. Fasha and Hanasia had actually bet a whole year. So far nothing bad had occurred.
At least in the official registers.
With the peace treaty in action, the Saiyan decided to keep the Planet Trade on his sight in case the current ruler decided to do anything against his race. No longer allowed to free other planets, Bardock decided to open more of the borders of the universe. For those Saiyans who weren't into fighting, despite how simply bizarre that concept sounded to anyone, Bardock had turned them into a traveling squad. Escorted by a group of Elite Saiyans, the explorers headed out into the cosmos for more planets to discover. Without Frieza's tyranny, conquering planets no longer had any appeal to them. Just investigating and possibly find a few fighting races like they were.
These cosmic journeys allowed the monkey-tailed aliens to find both planet Yadrat and the planet Relios. The Yadrats and the Kroloteans had been a race of miniature beings. Despite looking rather fragile to other races, these particular two species had started a war, which had lasted for over a decade with no apparent winner coming on top. The Planet Trade had never gotten near them as planets in war were of no business interest to Frieza or his family.
Bardock as a different kind of king thought otherwise. With a small squad of Saiyans, the Kroloteans had been easily eradicated in conjunction with the Yadrats soldiers. In thanks, the leader of the Yadrats had taught Bardock the Instant Transmission, a teleporting technique that honed on a person's ki signal. The King didn't taught this technique to anyone. Because after claiming victory, the Saiyans had also claimed dibs on the Kroloteans' Zeta Tubes technology to teleport. With new and improved methods to expand themselves, the race of warriors started establishing new settlements on far distant planets, some even in the South, East and West Galaxies.
One of those settlements was located on Earth. The planet of the North Galaxy, though rather lacking in technology had resources and a strategic location in the grand scheme of the Seventh universe. As Bardock had once promised Kami, he had sent a small squad of Saiyan fighters. Some of them barely reached twenty thousand units in scouter measurement. But that had been more than enough to smash any kind of attackers, considering how weak Earthling threats were in comparison. Many menaces like the Red Ribbon Army had been easily taken care off, leaving no one behind.
With the Earthling threats taking care off, Bardock had come in contact with King Furry, solely ruler of Earth. After a meeting between the two leaders, the Saiyan King had agreed to share some of their traveling space pod machines. Though at this point it was only rather old technology for a planet like Earth it meant a substantial improvement to expand their limited knowledge about the cosmos. And to this, King Furry had agreed to allow a small pack of Saiyans to settle on Earth and establish a base to be in direct contact with Planet Vegeta. A sort of embassy if you would like it.
To analyze the new alien technology, King Furry had hired Dr Briefs, CEO of the multimillionaire Zeni corporation Capsule Corp and his co-worker Jonathan Willow. Thanks to the two smart men with mustaches, they had managed to develop a gravity device capable of enhancing the natural gravity by a certain factor. With this new technology acquired, Bardock decided to set a gravity control on his training room capable of going up to one hundred times. New updates were been constantly made allowing for higher multipliers and tougher training sessions for those Saiyans, who weren't chicken enough to surrender to this serious drilling methods. Fasha and Hanasia were definitely included in that group of unwavering fighters.
Earth, however, didn't miss to use this technology for their own purposes to become as strong as their new alien friends. Many renown martial artists from the famous Turtle and Crane schools had now new jobs thanks to King Furry deciding to make a special security task force. These strong martial artists would escort the dog ruler whenever it would be needed for him to leave Earth into space journey.
To keep Earth under a closer guard, Bardock had decided to send both Raditz and Kakarot and keep them there to train with Kami. Despite the two youngsters, the first born been three years old and the second only two, their powers were already strong ranking the two thousand units for Raditz and almost one thousand for Kakarot. However, Bardock's visions of the future had shown him that training methods came in more than just brute strength alone. Something he hoped Kakarot, and now Raditz, could be able to learn in their new future without Frieza in picture.
Yet these weren't so far the only planets the Saiyans had reached. Thanks to some of his lingering visions of the future, Bardock had found out the coordinates to Planet Namek. Going there with Hanasia and Fasha the three Saiyans had arrived there on a spacecraft. Unlike his visions of Frieza, however, the Saiyans weren't there for any conquering of their own. The three mighty human-like aliens had found Guru, leader of the Namekian people. Bardock had negotiated that the Namekian presence to the universe would remain hidden as the information about seven Magical balls would attract the worst kind of attention from the remaining PTO factions. Or worse, the rebels of Team Galactic, which wanted to ultimately eliminate the Planet Trade for destroying their home planets. Giving a terrorist group such powerful objects, despite how good their intentions could sound, would be a definitive stupidity. As such, Guru had accepted these terms although in turn using his powers to unlock the hidden potential of the three Saiyans and also bestowing Bardock that same ability so the king could use it on any of his kinsmen if he saw them trust-worthy enough. No need to clarify that the three strongest Saiyans appreciated that gift very much.
On one of the many journeys to discover the universe, the Saiyans had come across the Ensenjian race, hailing from, quickly guessed, planet Ensenji. This race of human-looking aliens, were actually lost relatives to the Saiyan race. It seems that when the original Saiyan planet had banished in a mighty explosion not all the Saiyans had gone towards the same place. As such the had landed on a planet with fifty times the average gravity. This had provided the warrior race with greater strength than those Saiyans, who had later evolved in Planet Vegeta.
The resemblances with every other Saiyan were simply uncanny. All had weird mains of spiky hair, they got Zenkais after every life-threatening battle. Even their appetite was also equal to a famished carnivore. Yet the main difference relied on two very significant aspects.
One was that as a distant planet, the Ensenjian race had never encountered a lot of warrior species to satiate their thirst for deadly battles. As such, instead of dying by killing one another as one would have expected from them, the Ensenjians had developed meditation techniques to placate their natural rage and anger. This in turn, had provided them with less recklessness in battle and a better use of ki in blasts thanks to meditation methods. This, however, wasn't a sign of weakness as the natural Saiyan ruthlessness still existed in them only properly controlled for a better and strategic fighting method many Vegeta-born aliens were simply unable to. Blame it on Frieza and his mercenary-conquering methods shaping the Saiyans up.
The second factor of difference was their lack of a monkey tail. Planet Ensenji had no natural Moon. And with the decades passing, the new generations of children started losing their monkey limbs as Nature itself sentenced that they were no longer needed. However, the lack of tail did not brought the end of the Ozaru transformation for this race. In fact, the lost of their tail had now made the new Ensenjians been born with the hormones needed for the metamorphosis spread over their bodies with the main trigger still located inside the ocular nerves. And whilst the planet didn't have Moons, it was located in a place were asteroids flew very so oftenly near the planet's orbit touching the high atmosphere. As such, the Ensenjians could use the rains of a thousand asteroids to reflect the quantity of Blutz Waves needed to trigger the Great Ape transformation. And thanks to the meditation, it was almost improbable a fighter would lose control of their actions even for a first timer.
However, in this distant community, births with tails were still heard off. To this race, that factor was no hindrance as those born with tails were usually stronger than the average. Ask any Saiyan from Vegeta, who had lost and had his tail regrown and they would tell you how much of a difference in your power it could cause.
Bardock just folded his arms over his armored chest. So far things had been going north pretty smoothly. The Ensenjian Emperor Tarsum wanted to meet him in a few months after a proper Zeta teleporter had been established between the two distant races. Namek still remained hidden to the universe and with some help of the Kais it would remain that way. The Earth scientists had recently sent him a gravity machine, which could go up to five hundred times the average gravity.
Bardock also appreciated that Hanasia had suggested taking the Vegeta spawn towards Earth, where hopefully he would calm down his demands and learn some humbleness with the humans. At first it had only been a suggestion. Until Bardock's lover had literally kicked the child through a teleporter due to his constant nagging orders.
"Definitely a long shot there but one can only hope" The scar-faced monarch thought. Hopefully the futuristic visions of his second born Kakarot and Vegeta fighting as Super Saiyans would not happen. Although knowing his luck, the universe might keep that rivalry so to not change too many things.
"My King" A tough female voice sounded from behind the palm-haired king, taking him out of his train of thoughts. He turned around gazing with his black eyes at the deadly red-haired beauty. Unlike other Saiyans, the Saiyaness had mostly remained on Planet Vegeta. Her duties as a trainer to the other Saiyans was still as tough as ever. Although she had said that she was acting as a sort of King's bodyguard, Bardock and pretty much any other Saiyan could smell through her lie. Sarazade obviously wanted to just stay close to her king.
Bardock, however, knew she was loyal only to him to the death. So he had trained with her personally from time to time under high gravity many times that of Planet Vegeta. Which had earnt him a lot of teasing from his two lovers. The laters didn't seem to mind another lady joining in. If anything, they only wanted a strong one like they were. And while Sarazade was definitely stronger than her subordinates, Sarazade still had a long way to go before reaching her king or his concubines' level of strength. That's one of the reasons why he was going to unlock her hidden powers.
"What is it Sarazade?" The palm-haired alien king asked. The scar-faced ruler still wore a green armor but now with the Saiyan royal crest plastered on his left chest plate. He had ditched any kind of capes as Bardock didn't see the point of them. If anything, they only got in the way when one had to go hand-to-hand. His black underneath outfit fitted him like a glove alongside his new finger less gloves and black boots with green lines.
"We've just received a transmission from King Cold" The red-haired vixen stated, keeping her tone business-like. A challenging task whenever she was close to her lord. Bardock's lips turned into a dark grin in response. So Frieza's progenitor was finally catching wind of the end of his race. Too bad it has happened now that he was two children short.
After a short flight of a few minutes, the king and his lieutenant arrived in the com center with many armored beings typing all different kinds of computers. Most of the PT workers, who lived in Planet Vegeta had now turned to King Bardock's side. They obviously wanted to be in the winning team. Besides the paycheck was better.
A video chat was open revealing the remaining Icejinn ruler of the trading organization. King Cold looked like Frieza would have looked if Bardock had allowed him to transform into his second restraining form. Many over the Northern Galaxy used to assume that like his now-deceased descendants, this was also a restraining form. But that wasn't the case.
However, what the camera couldn't show was that this tyrant was more than eight feet tall, easily towering above any member of his family or his race. Yet for his size and his last measured power in a scouter, Cold was very weak if you knew how to properly sense energy. Too much time letting other people do the dirty work for one had made the remaining PTO ruler slack and lose a lot of his once fearsome power.
"King Bardock, good to see you" The Icejinn stated, his also purple-lipsticked mouth forming a smile. Bardock didn't need his keen hearing to know Cold was mumbling bullshit just to stay on his good side. Just like his sons, the Icejinn patriarch was a petty coward beneath his layer of fake bravado. But when your own children, who were stronger than you got themselves killed by belittling a group of mercenaries, then you did well in not antagonizing those same mercenaries.
After all, the rotten apple of Frieza and Cooler didn't fall too away from the putrid tree.
"King Cold, I sadly can't say the same thing" The former mercenary for the Planet Trade stated, his arms crossing over his armor plates. Sarazade snickered next to her king, although really trying to stay professional "I thought that Frieza's unwelcome invasion on my home years ago had been the last thing. Our peace treat was meant to ensure no further hostility among our two empires" Cold nodded.
"Indeed, I have not forgotten" The ruler of the remaining PTO said now not needing the constant reminder of how much he had been humiliated to sign a treaty with a bunch of simians "But the thing is, I'm only looking for my other son, Cooler" Bardock rose an eyebrow looking at his female lieutenant, who was grinning without showing it on the outside. Kind of a few months late to become a good parent, don't you think? "I thought I could have contacted him before he did something stupid if he were to hear about his brother' sudden demise and the peace treat with your spe... kind" The ruler almost slipped his tongue at the end of his cipher. But a bureaucrat knew how to avoid sniding comments when insults would get him killed.
"Oh yes, the firstling" The seasoned warrior turned to king said rubbing his chin in deep thought. Or what he hoped it would hope as deep thought so to not look suspicious "He told me that he had recently acquired a fifth form, a very rare occurrence for your race"
"That's what he told me as well" The Icejinn father said with a nod, still not fully grasping what the other ruler had said "But I lost contact with him before..." Cold widened his eyes in realization almost escaping his sockets. Bardock almost bursted a lounge in laughter by the face but his stoic face had to remain intact for a little bit longer "Wait a second, how do you know about my child's new transformation?" The seconds until the warrior king answered were agonizingly long.
"You see, he came here to talk for a while" Bardock replied, making Cold start sweating a bit. The scarred alien grinned making a pause to build up the tension even more "So I invited him in" The father of Frieza and Cooler was definitely feeling the Saiyan's intentional pauses very uncomfortable for his liking "In fact he hasn't left my hall yet"
With a click of fingers, the door from behind the Saiyan King opened wide, two Saiyans pushing a statue. At least what looked like a very organic one. The ornament stood six to seven feet tall the familiar ivory skin of an Icejinn visible. His muscles bulged and spikes came from his shoulders and elbows. Its head had a more conic shape and there was also a face mask covering its mouth revealing ruby red eyes. But Cold saw that the eyes showed something else that wasn't the power of his race. It was something he had seen before any execution had happened. Fear.
"Do you like what I did?" Bardock asked, his question dripping in sarcasm. His people in the background laughed without really minding if it angered the Icejinn "I would put him with Frieza but he is just a rag inside my bed chamber. My wives love to clean their soles with it" The workers of the PTO emperor knew that they had to backstep.
"You son of...!" Cold blurted out in anger, his fists tightening. That monkey had dared to also take Cooler too?!
Not that the Icejinn father cared much about Cooler than he did for Frieza. It was just the principle that his first son had had the key to unlock the Fifth form. And now it was again forever lost in history.
"Now, now, King Cold. There's no need to lose your nerve" The Saiyan King stopped the Icejinn, his right index up and moving from left to right indicating a non-verbal 'no' "Just because I avoided a war between us you should be thanking me whole-heartedly" The other warriors in the room almost grinned out their teeth. An Icejinn apologizing to a Saiyan? They would give their tails just to witness that happening first hand.
"I'll have your head, you wretched ape!" The Icejinn monarch growled like an enraged animal, his eyes glowing an intense red color. Something which happens with his family members a bit too often. His fists came down on the machinery of his ship, sparks flying away. Bardock didn't lose his cool demeanor. If anything, this was what he wanted.
"Well guess our treaty is no longer in place anymore" The Saiyan monarch turned around looking at his red-haired female General with a knowing grin. "Send the command, Sarazade" The red-haired beauty grinned as well touching her scouter and whispering a few words King Cold didn't got to hear.
The sound of air-shimmering Bardock knew when teleporting sounded. But this time on the other side of the communication. Cold had not even managed to turn his head, let alone his body to stop a searing red blast from hitting his back. And penetrate straight through it coming out from the front. The Saiyans on the other side of the link smiled by the display. A few even cheered on.
The Planet Trade ruler slumped down to one knee, his purple blood coming out. With him kneeling, one could see Bardock's mates Hanasia and Fasha firing blasts from left to right giving no mercy to anyone. The difference with them was at their hairs and eyes. The spiky golden and emerald green color of the Super Saiyan transformation had engulfed them in a very familiar jagged aura of power. The energy the two warrior ladies were radiating caused the video link to flicker in rapid succesions.
It had been during Cooler's invasion almost a year ago that Fasha had been the first of the two female lover to transform into the legendary form. While Bardock was strong enough to defeat the ascended brother of Frieza, the king still let his teammate and lover took care of Cooler with no problem after her transformation.
Hanasia had later transformed during a much more...intimate battle. Let's just say that enough lust alongside teasing coupled with the fact two of her lovers were getting stronger than her could push a Saiyan to transform into a legend too. Go figure.
The two female Super Saiyans kept on the downpour of ki beams, making sure that the spaceship remained utterly nonfunctional. Even if someone managed to escape their attacks by a Kai's miracle, the grunts would be left stranded in the middle of nowhere.
"My king, what should we do with this?" Hanasia asked towards the screen with a decisive tone, casually lifting the suffering Icejinn from the back of his neck while reducing her energies until returning her hair to black.
Fasha powered down next to her mate with a sigh. Once you got over how much intoxicatingly empowered you felt, then you could see how much it would leave you drain. But those kinks could be worked out.
"Take it to planet Krypton" Bardock ordered his two lovers "For what I've heard, an artificial creature called Doomsday has erased most of the planet's wildlife" The female fighters on the other side gave their king a devil-like smirk. That sounded very ominous. A very proper end for the last Icejinn ruler of Planet Trade.
A few seconds later, the com was off. The scar-face ruler casually walked out of the center, Sarazade following not so far behind.
"Sir, now that the Cold family is gone, what is left for us?" The red-haired female General asked towards her King and Ruler. And if she played her cards right, maybe something a bit closer.
"How about the whole universe?" Bardock casually answered placing his hand on top of her red-haired mane. A sudden power erupt came from inside her body, her scouter bleeping higher and higher until almost exploding. Sarazade panted while gazing at her hands. Where had this power come from?
"My king, what is..." She was saying until Bardock placed a finger on her luscious lips. His shit-eating grin was not going to be erased anytime soon. If she was loyal to him then she would soon prove it. Right after he had come back from his new training session.
After a few weeks of spending time transformed as Super Saiyan, Bardock thought that transforming into the other forms he had seen in his future visions would take him a lot of his time. Not that been a king was really a tiresome job. But spending years to achieve those forms wasn't going to be productive in the short run. Yet a very sudden visit of someone had shown the alien ruler an easier way to reach the unreachable levels of strength.
"You can thank me we when I return" Bardock whispered to his closest ally and maybe something else when he was to eventually return. The palm-haired man pressed two of his fingers to his forehead, his frame shifting away through space with a knowing smirk.
The Saiyans had survived the battle. Now the universe belonged to them. And whomsoever tried to stop them then better be ready to fight. Because nothing would be given without a fight.
Far away from Planet Vegeta, Bardock finished his space-warping technique using the Instant Movement. Unlike the Instant Transmission, the king had practiced on a variation of the technique. And after a few months of hitting and missing the Saiyan king had finally learnt how to properly teleport to any location he wanted without mistakenly teleporting inside a brothel in planet Skyrim. Not that he minded. The chicks there were quite hot.
His black-and-green boots landed on blue grass, a gust of warm wind gracing his palm-tree hair locks. A blue star basked the place with its warmth. The place was simply magnificent. Rivers and forests spread further than the eyes could see, creatures swimming or flying, which couldn't be found anywhere else in the universe. This planet didn't have a name as it was too far away from any spaceport to arrive without risking them to run out of fuel or supplies.
The Saiyan ruler took a few steps forward until a beam of dazzling light materialized in front of him. The rainbow-colored glow kept on for a few minutes until fading into nothing. Two figures had appeared right there like carried by the rainbow.
One was a rather effeminate pale-skinned human-like being, who stood a few meters away from the Saiyan ruler. He held a long staff in his hands. His face was stoic not even alarmed by the fact Bardock was here. This, after all, had been a planned meeting.
However, the scar fighter concentrated on the other being in picture. The one who did stood out.
"Lord Bills" The scar-Saiyan said with a tone of respect towards whoever was standing next to the effeminate person. This one was not human looking, instead with feline features like long ears, claws for nails and purple fur-less skin. It also wore black loincloths with odd patterns and golden arm bracelets on its biceps. His scrawny appearance would confuse everyone about the fact this sole being on his own could destroy the Seventh universe if he so wanted or if he ever were to wake up with the wrong foot.
"King Bardock" The purple deity saluted back showing a smile not many had the honor to see. The two rulers did something never seen by previous gods of Creation or Demon Kings. The two shook hands in a firm shake.
"Business as usual" Bardock smirked his power slowly escalating. For the briefest of seconds a gust of wind escaped from his body, his hair and eyes briefly turning red with sparks of blue.
Notes from Chapter 5:
The Saiyan empire is now kind of a protective system towards other planets under the influence of tyrants.
The Ensenjians are a race I invented, who are distantly related to the Saiyans.
I used a lot of DC Comics here because I just run out of alien names.
Bardock was taught the Instant Transmission and later he turned it into Instant Movement. As you know, been a king doesn't really mean he has to do a lot of paperwork.
Also Bardock has mastered Super Saiyan 1. And knows about SS2 and SS3 thanks to his visions. But knows that it will take him quite a lot of time to reach those forms. So he takes another kind of training.
Hanasia and Fasha are Super Saiyans. Surprised there?
I bet you weren't expecting that ending. But Bills has already been on Planet Vegeta and never liked King Vegeta and Frieza. But maybe he can grow fond of Bardock.
I based my ending like Young Justice in Season 2.
Brief hint of Super Saiyan God Red and Blue right at the end. Just because I like to piss people off.
Power Levels:
Bardock:
Base form (after healing, training, mastering Super Saiyan and power unlocked): 60 million
Very small God Essence: 120 million
Fasha:
Base form (after training for years and power unlocked): 20 million
Super Saiyan (not mastered): 1 billion
Hanasia:
Base form (after training for years and power unlocked): 19 million
Super Saiyan (not mastered): 950 million
Sarazade:
Base form (after training with Bardock): 1 million
Power Unlocked: 5 million
King Cold:
True form (lack of training): 70 million
Raditz: 2,000
Kakarot: 1,000
Vegeta: 11,000
The end of my story! Hope you have enjoyed it as much as I did. Hopefully you will have liked my race of Ensenjians, who are distant cousins to those Saiyans of planet Vegeta. If you are a true fan of mine, then check out all of my other stories. Hopefully, you will get to like at least one. And maybe find out other OC races I made related to the Saiyans.
See you guys later!
