Author's note: Very poorly written semi-sexy scene in the middle.
Ada moved swiftly through the hallways of a research facility that was hidden beneath the city similar to the one in Raccoon City where Birkin had developed the g-virus she had retrieved all those years ago. The spy woman kept a keen eye on her surroundings and moved from shadow to shadow, trying to avoid the numerous late night researchers that still wandered the hallways. She had the right to be there and had been invited by Wesker himself, but the old spy instincts died hard. While Ada didn't like the fact that dangerous a facility like this was hidden beneath city and could cause horrible outbreak if something went wrong, there was nothing she could really do about it.
The Asian woman smiled slightly when she saw a night shift researcher walking through the dimly lit corridor on his way to his work room, carrying a steaming coffee mug and muttering something while looking at some papers. He almost looked like a zombie. It was pity that so many people had died in the service of the Umbrella and while the company had brought some great medical items to the market and had studied the healing abilities of the various herbs, they had created horrible BOWs and caused much damage and death.
Though Ada hadn't been in contact with the blond man for a while, she had kept tabs on what was happening with the various people that had been involved with Umbrella and the outbreaks. While she didn't know much about Claire and had met her only briefly during the Raccoon City incident, she knew what had happened to the younger woman and she couldn't help but pity her. Losing her brother and having been taken by Wesker probably wasn't very pleasant.
But what really had piqued her interest more in this matter was Leon's involvement with it. Ada hadn't expected to fall in love with the ex police officer, but it had happened and she hated to admit it, but having the man worry and put himself in danger for Claire's sake made her…upset in a certain sense. The way Leon looked at Claire had always made Ada to feel a sting of jealousness and though she felt a bit guilty for doing this to Claire, who was more innocent than she ever was, it still was something Ada would choose to do over and over again.
Wesker was dangerous foe and though Leon had survived many dangers and was extremely experienced, Ada didn't want him to face Wesker…not just yet at least. Ada's loyalties were quite a mystery, but Wesker seemed to trust her enough to do certain jobs for him, and now that the opportunity to break Leon and Claire's connection had come, she simply couldn't resist the urge to take part in this game Wesker had created.
When she finally came to the right door; Ada used the key card Wesker had provided her before entering the room only to see Wesker sitting at his work desk, going through some research information that was displayed on his computer screen.
"Took you long enough, ms. Wong." Wesker said coldly, lifting his gaze from the screen and turning to the Asian woman whom he had waited for a while now. Ada simply smiled at him.
"I'm sorry, Wesker, old habits die hard." she stated, implying that she still preferred stealth.
The blond man noted towards a chair for Ada to sit on and the spy woman gracefully walked over to the desk and sat down, her legs crossed, fully relaxed.
"Your job offering was most interesting…tell me, how is your little canary inside her gilded cage? I can't imagine her to be happy." The dark haired woman asked with a smirk on her lips, but Wesker's expression stayed stone cold; he clearly didn't' want to reveal his feelings to the Asian woman who he didn't fully trust and never would, but then again he didn't trust anyone.
"She has finally started to accept her position and doesn't resent me so much anymore." Wesker finally replied with a hint of a smile now, knowing that Ada didn't pose a threat to him when it came to Claire. After all, they both wanted the same thing. Ada wanted Leon to forget Claire and let go of her…and Wesker wanted Claire to forget Leon completely, erase him from her memories and thoughts.
"But as you might have guessed, she can't let go of her previous life and friends. She still clings to the hope her friends can take her from me." Wesker said to which Ada just cocked her head a bit.
"I see...and Kennedy's and 's appearance in the city provides you a chance to solve this problem. But can you really blame her? You murdered Chris and locked her up inside a cage." Ada said with a small, almost sinister giggle, her eyes narrowing slightly due to a wide smile.
Wesker merely chuckled with a similar sinister intention in his tone
"Well, you don't have to worry about that ms. Wong. You see, since you have Mr. Kennedy's trust and affection, I'm sure he will listen to you. And as for Valentine, she is still bitter and angry, with some of it directed at Claire." Wesker said and Ada tapped her chin slightly with her finger as she pondered the situation
"I never imagined Valentine would be capable of that." the spy woman said with a sigh before continuing, "But I can see we can use that to our favor."
Ada decided not to ask about the Uroboros project…she knew enough and in time, she would try to prevent his plans from coming to fruition and at the same time advance her own plans; but it wouldn't be time for that yet since the virus wasn't ready yet either.
Wong had heard from her sources that Wesker was working on some side project, but all she had heard was that it wasn't meant for spreading or for the black market and that it was very specifically tailored for someone. It didn't take a genius to realize what Wesker was working on and whom it was meant for. Ada weighted the pros and cons of trying to get more information on Claire's situation and the possible virus he was creating for her. After a moment of pondering, she decided to try to get Wesker to reveal more about his plans.
"I hope you don't mind me asking, but that side project you are working on…" Ada started, but paused when she got a suspicious look from Wesker, but since he didn't seem hostile, she continued,
"It is meant for Claire isn't it? To turn her similar to you?" She finished with a neutral tone.
"Yes, it is. When the time is right, I will give it to her" Wesker stated coldly, but Ada couldn't help herself, she wanted to know more. She knew that Wesker's transformation had tremendous price and the spy woman wondered whether Claire would be willing to use the virus or if Wesker would simply force the decision on her.
"You had to die to become what you are, Wesker, what about her?"
"As regrettable as it is, it won't happen without a catalyst." The red eyed man replied in a very neutral tone.
Ada felt sad even if she didn't really care for the woman. Claire had a cruel fate waiting for her
"I see." She said softly after a moment of pause, deciding not pressing the matter anymore. She had all the information she needed.
After the meeting with Wesker, Ada found herself walking the hallways all calmly, ignoring the researchers who passed her. She didn't bother to hide her presence now that she had too much on her mind. While she felt bad for Claire, she was a woman after all and her love for Leon made her do this
"I'm sorry Claire, it seems that you are out of luck…but I'm sure you will be more happy with Wesker." Ada whispered as she hastened her step.
Claire felt good as she played the grand piano. After her injury she had feared that even this source of enjoyment would have been taken away from her, but thankfully her hand had healed quickly thanks to Wesker's help and the first aid spray. After few days, her hand was as good as new and worked perfectly.
The night of drinking and sleeping had helped Claire to release a lot of pent up stress and anger and now that she had vented her negative feelings out, she felt oddly lighter and calmer. The gilded cage still kept her inside it, but somehow it felt now larger and now she fully welcomed Wesker's presence and actually enjoyed it. She still was angry with him of course for killing Chris and she would always remember it, but somehow it didn't feel to be so much on surface anymore.
'Am I starting to become content with my situation?' Claire thought as she pressed the white and black keys down gracefully, enjoying the sounds.
It was so odd. Claire had been wallowing in self-pity and misery so long that she had simply become fed up with them. It wasn't part of her nature. After the night she had hurt herself, Claire had decided to get herself together and find some light and sources of enjoyment in her life. She just had to find the good things among all the bad ones.
Wesker was a bad person and she would never forgive him for killing Chris, but he hadn't hurt her and she really felt like he was trying to make her feel comfortable and enjoy her time in his own way.
It seemed that her captor had also noticed the change in her mood as well and as result had taken her to opera to watch Wagner's Lohengrin, a tale about an innocent young woman whose brother disappears and she is blamed. Then a knight comes to save the beautiful young maiden, but in the end she meets a sad end for demanding the knight to reveal his true name.
At first Claire wasn't sure whether Wesker wanted to mock her by taking her to see it or not, but then again there wasn't anything else running in the opera scene in the city. The night had been nice and Claire had even spotted HUNK again. Spotting the mercenary in different locations and outfits was almost becoming a hobby to her and when Wesker had asked about it, she had actually smiled and her captor had seemed very amused by her explanation. He had even apologized for such measures. Overall it had been a good evening, one when Claire had actually felt relatively happy. What had made the evening even more memorable was how they had blended into the crowd perfectly, even if Wesker wore his sunglasses. They truly had looked like a couple.
Claire had always enjoyed music and after she had gone again through the note collection, she had noticed that most songs were sad sonatas that did nothing to help her mood. On their way back from the opera, she had asked Wesker if she could have more notes, using his first name for the first time. That had made the blond man look at her for a while before smiling gently "yes, I guess I can manage to do that." he had said
'Albert…it is so strange, every one always calls him by his surname, except Excella calls him Albert. I guess I can start calling him by his first name, after all he doesn't call me "dear heart" all the time anymore.' the young red haired girl pondered and glanced at the large pile of books next to the piano.
To Claire's surprise, Wesker had brought her couple armfuls of books filled with notes from all across the world. She had been taken by the beautiful sign and had hard time deciding what to play and practice. The young red haired woman loved to play jolly waltzes and beautiful sonatas; they really lifted her spirit.
'I had never thought I would get this good at playing.' Claire thought. She had been sure that she would have to drop the old hobby of hers for good after her life had been turned upside down and filled with danger and activism work against Umbrella.
'Wouldn't have guessed all this would end up with me honing my skills in art and music.' She mused and closed her eyes since she remembered the notes and just wanted to enjoy the music that filled her body with energy.
Even when she heard the door open and close she didn't stop the playing or turn to the man she knew to be Wesker. She felt him move behind her and when she hit the last note; Wesker placed his hands gently onto her shoulders. Claire smiled somewhat as she closed the lid, covering the black and white keys for now.
"You've gotten really good. I'm pleased to see that the notes I brought interest you." Wesker murmured and caressed her shoulders and neck gently,
"Thanks I guess, then again I do have plenty of time to practice these days." Claire said, hinting that she didn't have much else to do and when Wesker pulled a straw of her hair behind her ear, Claire couldn't help but sigh gently.
"I know, dear heart, I'm very sorry about this but I'm afraid I can't let you outside your cage just yet." The blond man spoke gently and kept caressing Claire who smiled gently though there was a hint of sadness there. Before she would have yelled at him, tried to hurt Wesker but it had never lead to anything else than building an even higher wall between them. Now, she simply cast her eyes down for a moment
"I see, this situation stays like this until your work is complete?" She asked to which Wesker simply agreed.
"I know you have had to wait such a long time. But soon enough, the operation will be moved to Kijuju in Africa, and we are going there." Wesker replied "There you will have more freedom, I promise that, Claire. The BSAA has no interest there, and you will be far away from your previous life." The blond man continued and felt Claire tense slightly.
"Kijuju? It is very far away." Claire thought out loud, thinking of traveling to another continent, let alone with Wesker. It surprisingly enough didn't sound entirely repulsive.
"I heard it is a beautiful place with plenty of old ruins and sight seeings. But I hardly think those are things that would hold any interest to you." The red haired woman said, trying to figure out Wesker's intentions. Traveling there would mean that the last shred of hope would vanish and there would be no way for anyone to find her there easily, but perhaps, it wouldn't be the end of the world. She didn't want anyone else to get hurt because of her. Chris' death was enough.
Wesker helped Claire up and led her over to the window to admire the city that basked in the golden sunset.
"The progenitor virus was first found there by Spencer and the other founders of Umbrella, and now it is time to finish the work they started." Wesker informed Claire who enjoyed the feeling of his chest pressing against her back.
The younger Redfield hated to admit it, but she had a need for intimacy and being this close to Wesker felt nice and comforted her. She had fought her feelings for so long, but now her natural attraction towards Wesker was starting to get hold of her. She had liked the man before everything had gone to hell and his true intentions and personality had been revealed, but still, her feelings had stayed.
Claire blushed when she remembered he way she had acted that one night, begging for Wesker to stay with her and she had even offered her body to him just to have the blond man stay with her. He hadn't taken the opportunity to have her, even though he had wanted, and that told her something
"About that night…" Claire started and Wesker glanced own at her with a soft 'Hmmm?'
"Thanks for, you know…respecting me." Claire said calmly and while she didn't see it, she suspected that the man was smiling behind her.
"Well, it wasn't that I didn't want to, but taking you in that state would have been irresponsible and rude of me." the blond man murmured and caressed Claire's neck and hip slightly.
Suddenly the younger Redfield turn on her heels to face the blond man, her beautiful blue eyes reflecting her confused feelings. There was need, appreciation and confusion in her gaze. "Wesker..I mean..Albert, mind if I call you that?" Claire asked unsurely, but Wesker simply nodded her relief
"Well, I just wanted to say that I wouldn't mind letting you take me." Claire said softly and when Wesker looked at her with hint of surprise in his golden red eyes, she swallowed and clarified herself even though Wesker knew exactly what she meant.
"I want to sleep with you." She said and let her gaze fall to the floor, but Wesker quickly lifted Claire's chin up so that she had to look into his eyes
"Are you sure, Claire? I don't want you to regret your decision." Wesker asked softly and caressed Claire's cheek affectionately,
Claire still had inhibitions but most of them had slowly faded over these past few weeks. With a soft smile, she leaned up to kiss Wesker. Claire felt odd satisfaction from the fact that it felt like she had taken Wesker by surprise, but she couldn't help, but enjoy when the middle-aged man answered her kiss and started to caress her body gently. Claire shivered in anticipation and felt Wesker's strong body with her hands. She still felt somewhat afraid, but also exhilarated. Somewhere deep inside her, Claire felt like she was betraying her friends and Chris' memory, but she chose to ignore those feelings.
"Lets take this to the bedroom…" Wesker murmured softly and Claire shivered in anticipation, nodding gently before Wesker led her into his room.
Ada smirked as she stood on a roof of a tall building, checking the photos she had taken during the past few days starring Wesker and Claire; they were pure gold. First, the opera night. Claire was dressed all beautifully, drinking champagne with Wesker, smiling. And now this…Oh Leon and Valentine would have no choice but to think their beloved Claire was with Wesker. The blond man was truly a devious man...lowering Claire's defenses so skillfully.
And now, it would time for her to play her active part in this play.
Claire started to relax as she and Wesker entered the blond man's bedroom. Come to think of it, she had visited this room only a couple of times, but the younger Redfield liked Wesker's simple taste in decor. Everything had its purpose and there was nothing extra. Near the wall lied a large work desk with a lamp and around it were bookshelves filled with books and files. But what meant most for her now was the large black wooden bed with white and cream coloured sheets and covers. It looked very inviting and comfortable.
Claire gasped gently when Wesker pulled her into his arms once more and started to kiss her neck and shoulders lovingly and surprisingly gently. For the red haired girl it was still somewhat hard to believe she was doing this with Wesker, but it felt so right and good.
'Ok, Claire, just calm down. Nothing odd about this. You are just in Wesker's bedroom about to give yourself to him. Simple as that. ' Claire thought to herself. But it wasn't really as simple as that. She was reminded of her previous encounters with Wesker, how she had fought with all her might against him and tried to keep him away from her. He had treated her harshly and tormented her on so many levels, but as her behavior around him changed, he too seemed to become more lenient. If Claire did what he wanted, he would loosen the leash and give her more freedom.
'Does this mean that I'm finally submitting to his will?' Claire pondered but to her it didn't feel that way. She didn't know if this was just one of Wesker's tactics, to get her to lower her defenses and let him in. Like in the tale of north wind and the sun; but it didn't matter to her now. During the past few weeks she had realized that no one was looking for her, that she wouldn't probably never see her friend again. This was her life now. And before long, she would be on her way to Africa with Wesker.
Claire closed her eyes when she felt Wesker's hand slip beneath her shirt and feel her bare stomach and sides before slowly peeling her long sleeved t-shirt up and over her head. When Claire felt the cold air kiss her upper body and she shivered gently, but thankfully Wesker's warm body gave her warmth.
"Comfortable with this?" The blond man asked, but that only made Claire blush harder. It felt so odd that Wesker wanted her to be comfortable, after all she had imagined him to be a person who always too what he wanted and she had a good reason to think that. But at least it seemed that when it came to intimacy, he wanted her full consent.
"I am, though it is quite cool in here." Claire said with a small shy smile and let out a small content sigh when Wesker pulled her closer to him and kissed her passionately.
"Well, that will be fixed soon enough, dear heart." Wesker replied with a smile before placing Claire to sit down on the edge of the bed before joining her. The covers felt soft and inviting to the younger Redfield and Claire gasped slightly when Wesker helped her out of her jeans so that she was only in her black laced underwear.
"Well, this seems to be highly unfair to me. " Claire joked slightly, eyeing Wesker's body that was still fully clothed.
"My apologies, Claire." Wesker chuckled as pulled his shirt off, revealing his muscular and well toned upper body to his captive who seemed to admire the view. Claire waited almost impatiently as Wesker sat down next to her.
"It has been quite a while since I've slept with anyone. I mean, even before all this." Claire confessed somewhat timidly, before starting to caress Wesker's toned chest. The blond man just smirked and pulled her closer
"I'll try be gentle. I want you to enjoy this as much as I do." Wesker murmured and started to caress Claire's body once more, unhooking her black bra. Claire couldn't help but admire Wesker's toned body.
Soon enough they both were naked and underneath the soft white covers, Wesker on top of Claire.
Claire closed her eyes for a moment and enjoyed the feeling of Wesker's strong and quite heavy body on top of hers. It was so comforting and excited her further. When Claire started to feel kisses being planted against her neck, she gasped out loud and let out small sensuous moan as Wesker caressed her body lovingly.
She felt needy almost feverishly so. Her loins burned with need and Claire found herself hugging the blond man, massaging his lower back and enjoying the long and passionate kisses Wesker gave her.
"Wesker.." Claire started, but that made Wesker bite her neck gently as a punishment
"I would rather not have you call me by my surname in bed." The blond man teased Claire who looked embarrassed
"I'm sorry A…Albert. I guess I'm just not used to it yet. I mean, every one call you by your surname." She whispered gently and caressed Wesker's jaw and cheek lovingly when he lifted his head to look her into eyes.
"Well, we will get plenty of practice with that." The blond man said and gave Claire a heated kiss while caressed her beautiful body gently. Finally Claire let out a gasp of surprise and moan when Wesker entered her body, grunting gently as her tight and inviting body. They had a long night ahead of them.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
The two of them enjoyed each other's bodies multiple times during that night and Claire was both amazed and scared by Wesker's stamina. After the final time they reached their bliss, Wesker stayed on top of Claire as the feeling of pure pleasure rushed through his body, slowly fading away. He rolled off of Claire and breathed heavily. Their bodies were covered in sweat and once glance at her could tell that she was extremely satisfied. Her usually so clear blue eyes were now hazy as the feeling of pleasure slowly faded away.
"Satisfied?" Wesker asked from his little captive, who was completely spent and tired, let out a sound that was similar to a mewl and nodded
"Yeah, it was really good." Claire admitted and looked at Wesker who clean himself up slightly. She felt tired and didn't resist when Wesker pulled her naked body once more against his. They both had messy hair and Claire smiled at the sight. She had never seen Wesker with messy hair; it actually made him look even younger.
"You know..Is there danger that you could get me accidentally with a child?" Claire found herself asking as Wesker pulled her against his body since they hadn't used protection.
"No, due to the virus I cannot have a child with you, unless.. .you were to become something more than a mere human." Wesker stated as he played with Claire's red hair gently.
The young Redfield woman was tired and didn't focus too much her captor's words and before long, she fell asleep in her captor's embrace, who was smiling at her.
"Don't fret my little canary, soon enough you will be able to fly free. All you need to do is cast away the shackles that tie you to the past."
Leon and Jill had spent over a week in the city and they hadn't found any more clues on Claire's location, perhaps she wasn't even there anymore. The BSAA duties had taken all their time and all they had managed to do was arrest few extremist anti umbrella activists who had planned to capturea building and take some Tricell researches hostage only because Tricell had hired staff that had previously worked for the umbrella and that supposedly made Tricell linked to the infamous company more deeply, perhaps even sharing their research, but that was just absurd. Tricell was a founding member of the BSAA and had nothing to do with Umbrella.
"Leon, we need to head back to the headquarters soon. I'm sure they would us have do something more important than be on this wild goose hunt." Jill said as she wrote an email to one of the BSAA agents who had asked for her opinion on some files.
"They start to get impatient and keep pestering me for information. We have to drop this Leon. We can't keep spending BSAA's resources on something like this." The brown haired woman continue, looking at Leon who was cleaning his gun. The ex police officer didn't seem to like the idea, not one bit. His expression was cold and he clearly tried to hide his frustration and anger for not being able to find Claire.
"Just few more days Jill..I'm sure we can find something." The BSAA agent replied yo which Jill scoffed and glanced out of the window
"Leon, we haven't found any clues for days. Everything ended in a brick wall after the restaurant. We got nothing. As much as I hate to say it, we cannot help Claire right now. Not like this." Valentine continued, wanting to drop this hunt for Claire. They had much more pressing matters and while Jill valued loyalty, she wasn't sure she wanted to see Claire again. Valentine didn't have pity for the woman whose fault was that Chris was dead, at least in her mind. There were far more pressing matters at hand. There had been reports on multiple hot-spots for bio-terrorism where Umbrella's viruses and products could be used. The BSAA simply had their hands full.
Leon was about to snap something at the bitter woman, but then there was a knock on the door to their surprise. Neither of them had ordered anything or expected anyone.
"Who is it?" Leon asked suspiciously. It didn't seem likely that they would be attacked in a hotel, but you never knew.
"Ah, just bellboy. I'm sorry to interrupt you two, but there is a woman waiting for you two in the lounge." A soft and young male voice spoke from behind the door.
"A woman?" Jill asked and was clearly confused, who on earth would want to meet them?
"Yes, a very elegant lady. She said her name was Ada Wong and that she was waiting for Mr. Kennedy and Ms. Valentine."
Leon's eyes widened slightly.
'What was Ada doing here? Does she have information on Claire or Wesker?' It had been so long since he had met her and now she was there to see them. Whatever her reasons were to come to see them, they had to be good.
"Tell her that we are coming." Leon replied loudly and tried to finish up the cleaning and reassembling of his pistol as fast as possible.
"Ada Wong? The woman who works with Wesker?" Jill asked suspiciously when the bellboy had left them and got up from the bed.
"She worked for him yes, but I don't think she is allied with him. Perhaps she can help us." Leon answered and finished his work, putting his gun on his holster and grabbing his jacket. "Ada isn't the type to come to open easily, she has to have a good reason to be here."
"Yeh, I certainly hope she does." Jill murmured as they left he hotel room to meet Ada.
When Leon and Jill entered the busy lounge of the hotel they tried to find Ada in the crowd. The hotel lounge was busy and filled with people, making it clear that the place was one of the city's most popular hotels. Leon held his breath for a moment when he saw the woman she had met so many times sitting in a corner table, looking out of the window.
"Ada? What are you doing here?" Leon asked as he had Jill approached the Asian woman who turned her head to them with a mysterious smile on her face.
"Ah, Leon, long time no see." she greeted the ex cop before looking at Valentine who was standing beside Kennedy.
" Ms. Valentine, I believe this is the first time we meet, though I know much about you and your talents with dealing with the BOWS. Nice to meet you." Ada said pleasantly and smiled before getting up from her chair and shaking hands with Jill who smiled, but still looked suspicious.
"Likewise." she said simply as they once more sat down together.
"What brings you here Ada? You never show up unless you have something important to tell or do." Leon asked and Ada glanced out of the window, as if pondering if she should tell the two what she knew.
"Leon, I have some information on Claire…but I' afraid you won't like it."
"Information? What kind of information Ada?" Kennedy asked and Jill seemed to be listening now too, eager to hear what the Asian woman had to say about Claire.
"I know where she is being held, but I have something much more important to tell about her."
"What?"
"Her betrayal."
Ok, I think I'm going to drop this story.
This is clearly a lost cause and I can't reach the quality or the atmosphere of the previous chapters (That's what you get for being stuck for an eternity). I mean, their attitude towards each other has changed in 2 chapters completely.
As for the sexy scene. I just can't write that stuff, I've tried and wrote it but it just was absolutely horrible so I decided to cut the majority of it off. I'm really sad to say this but the last chapter will probably be even worse than this. BTW if someone wants to write a sex scene there feel free to send it to me. I mean anything is better than the awkwardness I wrote.
I just can't understand how my writing style has degenerated to the state it is absolutely horrible. Thanks for all my readers and reviewers, you've been a source of motivation and new ideas.
