A/N: Hey guys! I apologize for the extremely long wait for this chapter, I really do. School has started and it's been more than I could handle, so I've been exhausted and stressed out for the past few weeks. I've also had quite a bit of writer's block, so it's been hard to come up with a solid structure and plot to this particular chapter. But it's been bothering me for a while so I decided to just post it.

Bubbles wasn't sure where she was going.

All she knew was that she was running. As soon as she got out of her room and jumped from the balcony and her feet hit the ground, she ran.

Powers or not, Bubbles was always sure of one thing. She could run. She could run faster than anything and it was the one thing she did best.

The blonde girl ran through the empty streets, her footsteps echoing through the night.

Her mind throbbing, her eyes watering and anger fueling, she didn't have a destination in mind. Instinct took over and soon she found herself running downtown and suddenly she felt light headed.

She stopped, not to catch her breath, but to catch a grip on everything around her.

Bubbles saw nothing but blurred lights and outlines of buildings. The darkness filed her vision and her heart pounded until a car screeched behind her and snapped her back to reality. She looked and faced a sleek black car that honked at her.

Bubbles' eyes darted around, noticing that she was crouching on an empty street and the car had almost hit her. The car honked again and Bubbles found herself taking off down the street, away from the car and towards the place she loved and hated so much.

A/N: This is the shortest chapter I've ever written and I'm extremely sorry. It's also not one of my best, so I'll try to be quick with the next update. I also might re-write and re-upload this, but I'm not one hundred percent sure.

Also, this is really important: I planned an updating schedule, but until I get used to school and everything, I won't be able to stick to it and update. Hopefully I'll see you soon x
