Here;s the long awaited arrival of Yuu's biggest help yet.

Chapter 7

A Special Visitor

His family gone for the night and his heart shattered, Yuu runs out of the lobby and made his way into the courtyard in the back of the chateau. He just ran until he collapses onto his knees at the stone bench right beside the old water fountain that had ceased to work at the time the chateau fell into disrepair.

His face currently hidden as he cries his broken heart out with his five friends coming out of the chateau to find him weeping, Yuu just lost faith in everything. "What's the point in keeping this up? No matter what I do to keep my dreams alive, Mahiru will find a way to shoot them down. Now she'll make certain that Shinoa gets everything she's ever wanted her to have."

With his thoughts just full of nothing but Mika again, who has given him a chance he needed for his dreams to come true, Yuu could feel his chest tighten at the thought of Mahiru giving Shinoa's hand to him and giving her a fairy tale ending. Then the thought became too much for him to bare.

Just then, as he continues to shed tears, his friends and Asuramaru standing behind him notice small specks of light appear all around Yuu as the moonlight from above shine upon him. "I can't believe, not anymore. There's just nothing left for me to believe in."

The specks of light come together, a young woman appearing out of them, seated on the stone bench, Yuu's head on her lap, a smile across her face as one hand gently holds him with the other stroking his black locks like a cat. "Nothing, my dearest?" the woman says softly. "Oh, surely you don't mean that."

"But I do." Yuu replies, but then he realizes that someone is now with him. Glancing up, Yuu gasps softly when he sees a young woman no older than twenty four with wheat colored hair up with the front ride side out, a small braid tied up on the left side by a light pink ribbon, matching eyes full of kindness as she smiles at him, wearing a hooded forest green dress with the hood up, silver leggings and white flats.

"If you had lost all of your faith in your dreams, I wouldn't be here. And yet I am." Her gentle , smile remaining, the woman helps Yuu to his feet as she stands off the bench. Taking out a small handkerchief from her sleeve, the woman gently taps the tears away from his face and any remaining in his eyes.

"Now, dry those tears. You certainly can't attend the masquerade ball like this. Surely you want to see your prince."

At the mention of the ball and Mika, Yuu wonders if maybe she's here to help him. "Are you here to help me?"

The woman just nods as she checks her sleeves for another item. "Then are you my Fairy Godmother?"

Again she nods. "My name is Sayuri, your mother was a very close friend of mine."

To hear that she knew his mother had surprised Yuu. Before he could say anything else, Sayuri gives a wave of her wrist and in an instant, a white wand appears in her right hand, surprising Yuu even more and leaving his watching friends in awe. "Now that I have what I need, we must hurry to get you ready. Watch this, my dear as I gather the needed things to get you ready."

Tapping her wand in her left hand a couple times until a few light sparks sprout from one end like flower blossoms, Sayuri waves the wand around a bit to send some magic in the distance until the light touch a single, the most largest pumpkin in the patch, causing the pumpkin to sprout vines for legs and the pumpkin hops over to them.

It'll do magic, believe it or not

As she sings, Sayuri appears a little lay back as she uses her magic to make the pumpkin become even bigger with the vines taking on the form of wheels on a carriage.

Now sala-galooda means

But the thing-a-ma-bob

that does the job

Is bibbidi-bobbidi-boo

As she works, Yuu and his friends watch in amazement as Sayuri turns the pumpkin into a handsome diamond silver coach with sparkling white wheels still in a beautiful vine-like pattern.

At the sight of the coach, Yuu and his friends find it just beautiful. "Now, with an elegant coach like that, I say this stallion," Sayuri walks over to Asuramaru, gently petting his muzzle with affection, "would be perfect to lead this."

Pleased that he gets an important role tonight for his master, Asuramaru holds his noble head high as Kimizuki gets him strapped to the coach. Once Asuramaru is set, Sayuri turns to Kimizuki and silently measures him up with just her eyes. "You, young man, shall be given the role of coachman." That said, with a single wave of her wand, Kimizuki is now wearing a suit that matches the colors of the coach, his hair combed back and at once takes to the driver seat.

Then Sayuri turns to Narumi. "Tonight you shall be the footman." With another wave, Narumi is then dressed in the same colors as he stands beside the coach door, opening it.

Now that the coach is completely set, Sayuri at last turns her full attention to Yuu. "Now to fix you up, dear." After taking measurements and checking the shade of his eyes, an idea for his new attire becomes clear in her mind, thinking that this will be the most amazing attire anyone has ever seen. Starting at the feet, the magic surrounds Yuu as it wraps up around him, his black, blue and white suit changing to a sparkling black tailcoat, emerald green shirt, midnight black pants, obsidian black gloves, and black boots.

Completely amazed at his new clothes, Yuu then looks at his mask to find incredible changes on it as well; the pattern reminded him of a peaceful forest at midnight like in a painting. Placing the mask on this face and checking his reflection in the water fountain, Yuu is stunned at his appearance, thinking that anyone that sees him at the palace will be left completely speechless.

A smile growing on his face, Yuu faces Sayuri and hugs her, surprising the fairy. Leaning back a bit, Yuu says, his voice just full of gratitude. "Thank you so much. With what you've done, this is like making a perfect dream become a reality."

Sayuri returns the smile, so happy that she's been able to raise his spirits back up. Then she remembers something that she must tell him. "But, I'm afraid just like all dreams, this can't last forever. You have until midnight and you must return here.

"Now you must remember this, Yuichiro. At the stroke of twelve, the spell will break and everything and everyone will be the way they were before." Sayuri says this very clearly, making sure that Yuu does understand what he must do at midnight.

"I understand, Sayuri. I'm just very grateful that thanks to your help, I can see Mika tonight when my stepsister tried to prevent this."

"Of course, my dear." then she ushers Yuu to get into the coah. "Now, time for you to go attend the masquerade ball. Keep that mask on until you're certain you are alone with your prince. Have a great time."

With Yuu in, Narumi shuts the coach door and takes his place on the back of the coach, Kimizuki snaps the reigns and very soon, Asuramaru pulls the coach along, Yuu waving good-bye to Sayuri and she waves back before disappearing into specks of light.
