***Castlevaina Alucard***
Kagome sighed as she set inside the room turned cage to her since Lisa had been killed and Dracula had decided to kill off all humans. Looking out the window she couldn't help but think of how she first arrived her and met the couple and their son.
After Naraku had been destroyed before she could even attempt to make a wish the shards she hard busted from her tiny jar and merged with the jewel that Naraku had before shooting straight toward her and entering at her heart. She never got a chance to say anything and she remembered hearing the cries of her friends before everything went dark. When she had opened her eyes again she was looking up at the face of a woman with blonde hair and asking if she was alright.
She had found out later that after the jewel merged with her, it had transported her straight into Dracula's castle and his wife Lisa and their son Adrian. While she was healing she started to notice things had changed since the jewel had merged with her. Her once brown eyes turned a glacier blue, her powers went from pink to blue and it had become easier to control her powers. She already had great control from receiving training from Miroku, Kaede, Sango, and Sesshomaru, but now her powers flowed like never before. Her body healing was almost like a demon healing, her natural speed without her powers flowing through her body was like a demons and Dracula had even stated that she didn't feel or smell like a human. After hearing that and seeing the differences herself she knew she was no longer human that the jewel had made her into the living embodiment of the jewel.
Time passed as she lived in the castle with the family and came to care for all of them and she and Adrian became close and he asked if he could court her. Lisa and Dracula had been so happy and treated her as if she was already their daughter. But the happy times soon came to an end she still remembered the day that Lisa had been killed by the church.
Dracula had come raging into the castle and she had followed him trying to understand what had happened till he turned on her. His eyes red from his rage as he looked at her and said that since the humans had killed his wife he was going to kill them all. Kagome couldn't believe what she had heard when Adrian had appeared and challenged his father trying to make him see reason that this wasn't what his mother would have wanted, but Dracula was too far gone in his rage, and grief. When he landed the blow to Adrian, she was certain he would kill his own son she stepped between them and told Adrian to go that she would keep him busy while he got away. Adrian kept begging her to come with him while she kept a barrier up to keep Dracula away from him. She finally placed Adrian in a barrier and pushed it out the window while she looked at Dracula who stopped attacking the barrier once Adrian was gone. It wasn't long after that, that Dracula used the science and magic he knew to make it where she couldn't stop him but she also couldn't leave the castle to search for Adrian. And that lead her to where she was now walking with Dracula to meet his vampire generals.
As she walked beside Dracula wearing the sliver dress he had made for her making her look like the noble she wasn't. As they walked in she saw how the vampires reacted to her standing beside their Lord. She and Dracula had spoken before his generals arrived while she couldn't use her powers to stop or hinder him he didn't want her defenseless and told her to show her powers and if she had to kill any who tried to harm her in any way. As she stood beside his throne she looked at all that had gathered and nodded her head to the only two humans in the room Hector and Isaac. Dracula had told her about them and their hatred for humanity, she could almost understand from what she had seen and had done and done to her over the years but deep down she understood you can't blame everyone for the mistakes of the few. As she stood beside Dracula she listened as he appointed Hector and Isaac over the generals and she saw the looks of disgust. She thought none would speak up against him over his choice but she was proven wrong when the red haired Viking Godbrand spoke and questioned why Dracula would choose humans over vampires for this mission. Dracula explained that both Hector and Isaac hated humanity made them trustworthy for this. When Godbrand turned his gaze toward her she looked down her nose at him and didn't look away after being trained by Sesshomaru in the ways of the demon court none would rattle her and judging from the shocked looked on Godbrand's face he wasn't expecting it. When Dracula stood and asked the two to follow him he offered his arm to her and she took it and finally turned her gaze away from the room of vampires to go with him.
Once they entered his study and he had set down while Hector and Isaac walked in Kagome moved to look down at the fire and crossed her arms while she listened to them. When Dracula asked her opinion she raised her head and turned to look at the three males in the room and gave a sigh as closed her eyes and decided she would finally try to make the three understand.
"You wish to punish all humanity for the actions of the ones mad on power. I miss Lisa I loved her as a mother and a friend, I see you as a father and a friend but you would punish the truly innocent there are children who are innocent to all acts that you would have killed because of the actions of those men. There are those who had no hand in what happened to her and you would kill them? I understand the town because not one soul old enough to understand stood against it but others shouldn't pay for this." Kagome said as she looked at them and saw that Isaac understood and she had spoken to him and knew his story and what had happened to him. She knew what had happened to Hector as well and how he turned to animals instead of people and how he thought that Dracula would basically turn certain humans into almost like cattle for the vampires.
"Kagome I see you as my daughter even if Adrian hadn't started courting you but even you have seen the evil in human kind you have told me the stories of your past and the evil beings you faced. This world would be better off if the humans were gone." Dracula said while looking at her from his chair as the other two looked at her with wide eyes neither knew that she and his son had been courting. Kagome decided to throw out a question she had thought of since he had started this mission of his and moved toward him before standing beside his chair and looking down at him with a sad look.
"Does this mean you will kill me as well? I may no longer be human but I was raised human just like Lisa was not in this time or world but still human and I am not a vampire. So will you kill me or have one of your generals do it?" She asked while never breaking eye contact with him as she spoke softly. She was shocked when he stood up quickly and pulled her close and hugged her.
"Kagome I could never hurt you and would never allow anyone to hurt you. You might have been raised human but like you said you are no longer truly human and are one of the purest creatures I have ever met. Once Adrian comes to his senses and comes home I will leave this world to you two to shape in the right way. Now it is late go to your room you will need all of your energy to deal with the vampires in the castle." Kagome looked up at him and saw something she hadn't seen in a year love in his eyes bowing her head she pulls away before leaving the room.
As time passed by they were all back in the war room looking at the vampires argue about what should happen and she stood beside the throne and looked on with him as none could agree on anything. Everyone soon become quiet was the doors were opened and in walked a female vampire that Kagome would have thought was a grown Kanna but this woman made her think she was the female version of Naraku. As Dracula addressed the female and asked why she was late she noticed that Carmilla was sizing everyone in the room up and how she over looked her. She decided to step forward when Carmilla questioned Dracula on why he hadn't turned Lisa which she knew upset him.
"Carmilla was it?" Kagome asked as she moved down the steps toward the woman moving with more grace than any female could before she came to the last step and looked at the woman.
"Yes, and why does a human pet address me?" Carmilla asked while not looking at Kagome but at Dracula waiting and hoping he would react and show all in the room that he had lost himself but before that could happen a sphere appeared around her and raised her of the ground a few feet. When Carmilla went to touch the sphere she screamed as power shot through her body.
All the vampires and the two humans stared on in shock and awe as the tiny human none even gave a second to look to had a powerful vampriess screaming and seemed to be burning and her eyes were like ice. Some even took steps back when she lowered her gaze to look at the others in the room. She didn't blink or look away from the others as she dropped Carmilla from the sphere and the others looked on as she moved toward the down vampire whose body was still smoking in places as her flesh and hair was still burning.
Kagome would never admit to anyone but as much as she hated the training she went under with the Lord of the West she was glad she had. She remember once that Sesshomaru had stated that she truly acted like a high born demon when she was in court and many said she was a female version of him. Moving toward Carmilla she looked down as the woman and watched as she tried to gain control of her breathing through the pain before she looked up at her with fear in her eyes. That is when Kagome decided to speak to all in the room.
"Never question him on Lisa again the next one will not live to beg for forgiveness. It was Lisa decision to not be turned into a vampire at this time in her life she wanted to help people. If she was here right now she would actually try to help a piece of trash like you Carmilla even after questioning her place and calling her a pet. Never forget there is always something out there that can kill you for your kind has longevity not true immortality it is true once someone is turned they don't age but you can still be killed." Kagome walked around the downed woman while speaking she paused when Carmilla asked a question.
"What are you?"
Kagome gave a smile that held no warmth or kindness in it and gave a humorless laugh as if possible her gaze hardened and made her eyes look like diamonds and a coldness entered her voice making everyone freeze when hearing it.
"I was once human like the woman you mocked but I am no vampire and I am not human but unlike others in this room with the expectation of Hector and Isaac I was born with my powers. I didn't have to turn into something else to get them and if you want to go by power I am your better. The only being in this room who would have a chance against me is the man you dare to question." Kagome spoke before moving back toward the stairs and walking up them to stand beside Dracula again who hadn't moved during any of it but she knew he was upset because his eyes were red.
"I believe I have left something out when I summoned everyone to my castle the woman at my side I see as a daughter as she is engaged to my son. Once Adrian returns to the castle the two will be married and she is my second besides Hector and Isaac if she gives you an order you will obey." Dracula said as he stood and looked at all in the room before he turned and offered his arm to her and they started back up the stairs. He knew Kagome didn't agree with him and would never order anyone to hurt another but he had to place her somewhere in his court other than as his daughter or the others would try to get to her. But he knew sadly he would soon have to keep Kagome away from the others once they truly knew his plans they would try to get to him through her and he would not allow it.
Kagome watched from her room as the vampires started across the bridge toward the city she knew this was a trap and told Dracula and Isaac as much the two agreed and she came to find out they had planned to keep her out of it and had made it to where she couldn't leave the room as she looked out she wondered again where Adrian was she had overhead someone that he stared calling himself Alucard forsaking the name given to him by his father. She prayed he was safe and had planned some way to stop his father.
Alucard looked around the library that Trevor's ancestor had built, he could appreciate the knowledge that had been saved throughout the years being passed down the generations, but at the same time he was sickened at what he saw while he was not a full vampire and was half human he was still vampire and the things he saw sickened him. As he turned away from the case that held vampire skeletons in it he gave a sigh as he thought about Kagome. That was one thing he had not told Trevor or Sypha and he knew he needed to besides stopping his father he needed to save her. He hoped his father wouldn't hurt her and that she was safe but he had no way of truly knowing till they figured out how to get into the castle.
Looking over he saw Sypha and Trevor speaking and decided now as better than never and moved toward them.
"There is something I haven't told the two of you about other than stopping my father we are rescuing my fiancée." He said while watching the looks of shock go across both their faces before Trevor decided to speak.
"Your what so besides killing Dracula we have to save a female vampire I hope you have picture because as soon as we enter everything in that castle is going to try and stop us or kill us and I don't plan on asking every female vampire if is your fiancée." Trevor said before jumping when Sypha smacked him and called him rude.
"For your information Belmont, Kagome isn't a vampire she was once human and it is only because I her I am standing here today she saved me when I was fighting my father and placed herself between us with one of her barriers before incasing me in a other barrier and pushing me from a window."
"Wait if she isn't a vampire and from you just said isn't human any more than what is she?" Sypha asked with wide eyes as she tried to figure out what the woman could possibly be. Trevor couldn't believe what he was hearing as Alucard explained to the two of them who and what Kagome was he knew it wasn't his place to tell her story but he would need their help in getting to her. Once he was done telling them about her, he was again not surprised when the Belmont felt the need to speak.
"Why would a woman like that want to be with a bloodsucker like you?"
"TREVOR!" Sypha yelled.
"This might be hard for you to understand Belmont but we did fall in love and though I know what my father is feeling if I lost her I can say I understand my father's pain." He said while looking at the two and saw that they understood in a way that if something happened to the woman they could very well be dealing with two seeking to kill instead of just Dracula. But, they knew that while Alucard would be in pain he wouldn't go as far as his father.
"Well I guess we have a rescuing a damsel in destress mission to go along with killing Dracula." Trevor said while sighing and rubbing his head. But, was shocked when Alucard gave a chuckle making them both look at him.
"Belmont unless you want to be beaten within an inch your life I wouldn't call Kagome that to her face. While Kagome might look tiny as she is shorter than Sypha she has gone hand to hand with both my father and myself and is a better fighter than most." Alucard said before walking away from the two to go look for the books to help hold the castle still or bring the castle to them.
It didn't take long to find the spell but they had to hurry as the monsters sent to stop them while Belmont seemed to be doing fine holding them off they still needed to be prepared and when Sypha finally pulled the castle to them he hoped they weren't too late.
As Alucard walked back into the castle after he watched the Belmont and Sypha leave he looked around before walking into the castle. As he made it to his father study and his memories where the only thing left for him he couldn't stop the tears as he mourned for both of his parents and his love. While he was fighting his father he had asked and demanded to know where or what had happened to Kagome and his father never gave him an answer till the end by saying that he loved both him and Kagome and that he was sorry. As he was caught in his grief he didn't notice the tiny woman walking into the room and toward him till she spoke his name and when he looked up he was sure he was looking at a ghost.
Kagome had tried everything to get out of the room she was sealed into the castle was trying to transport and had made many jumps before it had finally stopped. Moving to the window she looked out and saw that they were out in the country. It didn't take long till she could hear the fighting and felt where the castle was being destroyed in places she needed out she couldn't stay in this room she needed to help. She had tried blasting the door with her powers but nothing seemed to work she leaned against the door crying knowing that the man she had seen as a father was going to die and she couldn't stop it and she couldn't get to Adrian.
She didn't know how long she had stayed leaning against the door crying but when she looked outside it was daylight moving she picked herself up and turned to the door and tried the door and almost started to cry again when it opened it meant that Dracula had been killed. Moving around the derby she spread her senses out and did start to cry because she could feel him. When she arrived at the study she saw something she had never seen and that Adrian crying moving into the room she said his name and was surprised when he looked at her like she was a ghost.
"Kagome!?" he asked praying she wasn't a figment his imagination he looked at her in wonder when she moved toward him before cupping his face in both of her hands while crying. Quickly standing he pulled her against him and crushed his mouth to hers' and kept her body close to his. When the need for air finally got the better of them he pulled his head back and just looked into her eyes not believing that she was alive and in his arms again.
"How? Father asked for forgiveness when it came to you I thought I had lost you." He said while never once looking away from her or pulling away from her. He needed to touch her to know she was real that she was still truly here in his arms.
"He kept me by his side even knowing I didn't agree with what he was doing he told me before that he loved me as a daughter and wouldn't allow any to harm me. He had used his science and magic to keep me in the castle then bound me into my room so that I wouldn't be harmed. Until his death I couldn't leave the room and once I was out I knew I needed to find you. I have missed you so much and have longed to be by your side and hoped that you had healed and would return." Kagome said while tears were running down her face as she looked up at him.
Alucard couldn't believe what he was hearing his father who had gone mad after the death of his mother had made sure that Kagome was safe. Pulling her close in he placed his head against hers' and just took in holding her, feeling her, and smelling her wonderful scent. He had decided something while holding her in his arms that he never wanted to lose her again. Pulling back he cupped her face and looked into the bluest eyes he had ever seen and saw the love in them.
"Kagome become mine stay by my side I had feared I had lost you once I could never carry on in this life if I thought you wasn't in it again. If you ever leave I will follow you to the ends of the earth and beyond." He said while looking into her eyes and hoping she saw the love he truly held for her.
Kagome couldn't believe what she was hearing but looking into his eyes she knew what he said was true and she felt the same she would go wherever he went because he was her other half. Never looking away from those gorgeous glowing gold eyes she leaned into his touch.
"I will stay forever by your side my love I would never want to be anywhere else than by you. I love you so much Adrian." She smiled at him as he pulled her into another kiss
"I love you as well my beautiful Kagome and I go by Alucard now." He said while smiling down at her and knowing that this was only the beginning of a wonderful new life for them both.
