I own nothing. Well, I own a few things, but nothing in this story. ... Except the plot. Anyway! On with the story! :D

Why had she ever agreed to date a popstar? Oh, excuse her mistake, he was a ROCKstar. Not a popstar.

Anyway, back to the point. He was never with her and if by some off chance he was with her, it was never for very long. Their phone calls always seemed to get cut short, and it seemed like whenever she was in desperate need of her boyfriend, he was busy.

Mitchie knew that none of this was Shane's fault. After all that's what she got for falling in love with one third of Connect Three. But really, why did he fall in love with her? HER of all the beautiful, amazing, talented girls out there he fell in love with plain old Mitchie Torres. No matter how many times he tried to explain it to her, she would never get why he fell in love with her.

Usually at times like this, she would do one of two things. Either call her best friend Caitlyn Gellar who got what she was going through because she was dating one of Shane's bandmates Nate Black, or she would listen to the song Shane had written about her at Camp Rock.

Tonight though, neither of those things was an option. Caitlyn was out of town in a place where she couldn't get cell service and for some reason, tonight listening to Gotta Find You was just making it worse.

Sighing, Mitchie turned on the T. V. Maybe something on there could distract her. As she was flipping through the channels, she stopped on MTV, mesmerized. One of Connect Three's music videos, When You Look Me in the Eyes was playing.

She didn't know if this was making her feel better or worse, all she knew was that she couldn't stop watching. She sat there staring blankly at the television long after the music video was over.

Suddenly her phone rang, startling her. Hesitantly, she picked it up.

"Hello?" she whispered.

"Mitchie?" Shane asked. "Are you all right?"

"Not really." Mitchie admitted. "I miss you, Shane!"

"I miss you too, Mitch. So, so much." he replied.

Her doorbell rang and she went downstairs to answer it because she was home alone for the night. "Hang on Shane, there's someone at the door."

Mitchie opened the door to reveal a smirking Shane. "I know." he told her.

Mitchie shrieked, flinging herself at him. As they hugged, she realized something.

This was why she dated a rockstar.

Hope you enjoyed the fluff. Review!
