iGot You Something
"Merry Christmas, Dork," Sam smiled and handed her gift to Freddie.
"You got me something?" Freddie was shocked. "That's…that's really nice of you."
"It's no big deal or anything." Sam shrugged and watched as Freddie opened his gift and Carly watched from the side. He took out a picture frame.
"It's you and me from kindergarten," Freddie grinned, staring at the picture.
"Yeah, I've had it in my room for a while. Figured you should get a glance at it." Sam said casually as Freddie kept staring at the picture.
"Oh, Freddie, I have something for you too!" Carly said, scurrying to grab the present from under the tree. "Here," she handed it to him.
"Oh, thanks, Carls, this is my favorite cologne," Freddie thanked her, and set it down to pick up Sam's gift again. "Oh man, my flies down in the picture," Freddie groaned, but smiled.
"Yeah," Sam smirked. "That's my favorite part about it. And you didn't even realize."
"Thanks for telling me," Freddie chuckled sarcastically.
"Sorry I didn't get you something like that, Freddie," Carly said.
"Oh, it's nothing," Sam insisted.
"It's not nothing. It's like the best present I've ever gotten. Thanks, Sam. And I love the cologne, Carly."
"Wrapped it myself," Carly shrugged, smiling.
"I got you guys something too." Freddie stood up and went to get the gifts he had left in the corner. He handed them to both girls. "I gotta get home. Merry Christmas." With that, he was out the door.
"What'd you get?" Sam inquired.
"Oh, cool! It's Tiffany's bracelet. That was sweet of him. What'd you get?"
Sam opened it slowly, her heart sinking with each tear of the wrapping paper. "Tube socks."
