Sorry it's been so long, but I've been doing other things...but now I'm back! So, enjoy! Oh, and someone named WereDragon saw a major typo on the legendary calendar I set up in-story, so kudos for pointing that out!
(DL's Hiding Place, 5:00 a.m. sharp)
Kick!
"Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…."
Kick!
"Mmragrjknumel…."
Kick!
"Nnnnn…I don't wanna go to school…five more minutes, Mommy…."
"Not your mother."
Kick-kick-kick!
"…Hmm?" Feeling rather crappy that morning, DL sat up slowly and blinked as she stared bleary-eyed at the world before she rubbed her eyes and eventually focused on the person – err, Pokemon – in front of her in the dark. It was too early, in her opinion, but it wasn't in her hands. A familiar angry face glared sourly at her, as if the Absol was pissed that she had to retrieve the human, and it took a minute afterwards before DL finally felt the pain in her side and keeled over to groan and mutter, "Damn, I'd hate to be on the receiving end of your Mega Kick…."
"Heard that before." Not even bothering to speak in full sentences to her, Arc jerked her over her shoulder and grunted, "Visitor."
"Megan!" Hunter zoomed over and gave her one of his strange 'hugs', and it took a moment in her sleepy-head-ness to realize who it was and another moment to hug him back and smile happily. "Hey! You're here! How was your night on the spoooooooooky island?" She dramatized the words and tried to imitate a ghost, but ended up bursting out laughing as Hunter rolled his eyes and shook his head at her.
"I had to sleep in a cave, but it was cool." He eyed the human sitting on the ground for a moment, with her pajamas all rumpled from her crazy sleeping positions, and he asked, "What about you? How was your sleep?"
"Well, you know, I couldn't sleep at first," DL grinned and admitted sheepishly, "but then I was out like a light! I've always been a heavy sleeper, I guess."
"You guess?"
"Oh, shut up."
"Human," Arc gaped at her, as if baffled by the human, and was startled into speaking a full sentence to her, "haven't you noticed anything?"
"…Hm?" DL's head tilted to one side, and then the other. "Noticed what?"
"Hm, oh, I don't know, maybe something strange about your Haunter?"
"My name is 'Hunter'," the Ghost-Type grumbled sourly, as if a bit agitated by the Dark-Type, but then she shook her head and walked up to him, looking between Hunter and his Trainer before demanding, "Say your name again."
"Hunter?"
"No!" Arc glared at him irately. "Your species name."
"Oh, you mean Haunter?"
"Yeah. That."
"Oh…oh, yeah!" Hunter smacked his forehead with one of his three-clawed hand as if he had forgotten something, and then he floated down to DL's eye-level and motioned between them. "Are you hearing me fine?" He looked at her expectantly, and she continued to stare at him for a while with a small confused frown on her face. She nodded, and he looked at her for a second before asking slowly, "And you …understand me, right?"
"Well, yeah!" She smiled at him, as if he was stating something completely obvious and looked stupid for doing so. "I always understand you! We've been friends for how long?"
"No, no!" He waved his hands as the Absol proceeded to smack her head into a tree multiple times. "I mean, you – it's all – okay, you know how you used to have trouble understanding when I was saying my name, Hunter?"
"Yeah, because every time that you did, it sounded like – oh!"
"Finally, she gets it!" Arc rolled her eyes and sneered at the human who jumped up and down excitedly at the sight of her Pokemon speaking English. Really, what was so amazing about it? She could do it, without help. "Hmph," she huffed and turned away, wondering if they were going to take forever or if she would be able to take them back to the Legendary's place.
DL couldn't seem to stop smiling as she exclaimed, "I can't believe it! How did you get around your speech impediment?" An inside joke between them and Butterscotch, they called the Pokemon Language a 'speech impediment' because of how they just repeated their name in various tones.
"Well," Hunter 'crossed' his hands and closed his eyes as he remembered, "I was talking to Darkrai about our sleeping arrangements in his cave…"
(Flashback Time!)
(New Moon Island, 7:00 p.m.)
"Haunter haunt haunter? Haunt haunter…" (Should I really need a sleeping place? Normally, I don't sleep, and I can make due with whatever…) Hunter, Darkrai, and Arc were sitting in a cave, with the two mortal Pokemon sitting beside a fire while the Dark Prince stayed as far away as possible from it while still being with him. Hunter, his hands 'crossed', was pondering something that seemed important to him. The other two, however, didn't seem as impressed by the subject and proceeded to ignore him.
"I can't take your rambling, you stupid, irritating Ghost-Type!"
Well, Darkrai was, anyways.
"Haunt?" (Excuse me?) He turned to her with anger, the fire reflecting in his eyes, but she didn't look intimidated (what the hell, she was Darkrai's assistant! Of course that didn't affect her!) when she returned the glare wholeheartedly. The purple ghost spat, "Haunter haunt haunter, haunter!" (I know that Dark- and Ghost-Types are normally hostile to each other, but that doesn't give you an excuse to start badmouthing me for asking a simple question!)
"But it was an insignificant question, moron!" She scoffed and crossed her paws in front of her to lay her head down on it, as if all of this yelling was giving her a headache. Hunter, not yet through with her, floated up from the ground as if to challenge her and shouted, "Haunter haunt!" (I dare you to say that in my face, punk!)
Before either of them could go any further, Darkrai snarled, "If you two keep that up, I'll rend both of your mouths from your faces so you'll never speak again." It seemed he was getting a headache as well.
Hunter, not used to getting on the bad end of the stick, started to protest, "Hau –" (But, I –)
A Razor Wind rushed right through him (thank Arceus he turned intangible when he was angry) and jammed itself into the cave wall behind him, effectively interrupting him from his objection and causing him to look back at the pissed off Absol. She gritted her teeth and growled, "I swear to Mew, if you say 'Haunter' one more time, I'll –"
"That's enough, Arc." Darkrai's stern tone certainly calmed her down enough to scoff and turn around to lay down facing the wall, and as Hunter turned away from her as well he grumbled to himself (so she couldn't hear), "Haun haunter…" (It's not like I wouldn't change it if I could…)
"Hunter." He nearly yelped at his name being called, then looked at the Pitch-Black Pokemon that called him. "Come here." Hunter gulped and immediately obeyed him, hoping he wasn't in trouble or anything, taking nearly twenty seconds to cross the distance the Legendary had put between them. He floated over to him, carefully descending until his 'tail' (if you could count it as one) rested on the cold stone floor of the cave, and he asked nervously, "Haunter?" (Yes, Darkrai?)
"First of all, relax – I'm not going to kill you," Hunter immediately gave a sigh of relief and wiped his forehead clean of sweat, "yet. I just want to ask you something." The Ghost-Type frowned for a moment before nodding quickly, and the Legendary took a moment before he started his interrogation of sorts.
"Your Trainer…Megan, was it?" Hunter nodded. "She can understand you?"
"Haunt," (Yes,) Hunter nodded with a faint smile at the reminder of his Trainer and friend, "haunter haunt. Haunter haunt, haunt haunter!" (and I don't even think she can distinguish between English and Pokemon anymore. She's so used to it now I'm surprised she hasn't started to talk like me!)
"Hmm…" The Legendary looked very deep in thought with his arms crossed and his visible eye glowing in the fading light of the distant and dying fire. "So, you don't think she would mind if we gave you a little something?"
"Haunt…haunter?" (A little…something?)
(End Flashback)
"So," Hunter summed up the story quickly after seeing Arc's impatient look, "he gave me a sort of potion thing he said Azelf had made and he wanted to test, which, in turn, gave me the ability to speak English. That a good enough story, or should I try a little dance-and-song?"
"No, no, you're fine." She smiled as he rolled his eyes, and then clapped her hands together and exclaimed, "Well, since we've gotten caught up and everything, I think I am now ready for whatever it is you guys came here for!"
Of course, who else would grunt such a short reply but the Absol? "You."
DL blinked. "Say what?"
"She means that you have to come with us," Hunter explained with a glare towards Arc, "because we have to determine the little schedule that you'll have with all of the Legendaries and such."
"Oh, yeah!" She smacked her forehead, wincing at the impact and mentally noting that she needed to stop doing that. "I completely forgot about that! Well, I shouldn't keep you waiting any longer." She stood up, dusted herself off and straightening her pajamas, and smiling brightly at them before saying, "Beam me up, Scotty! Oh, wait!" She quickly ran over and picked up the Egg she had bundled up in yesterday's clothes, snuggled with it for a moment, and ran back, relenting, "Okay, now I'm ready."
Hunter shook his head at the human before closing his eyes and focusing on where he wanted to go and who he was taking. As he started to glow a faint blue, DL looked down at herself and the Egg and noticed that she was glowing too, as well as Arc. "Whoa," she mumbled, "totally cool." Hunter would, later, explain that it was something that had been grafted into his abilities, since he had to be able to exit and enter the place as he pleased if he was to do his job, but for now DL could only be amazed by her Pokemon. Then, after a moment of standing in something that looked like tie-dye gone wrong, the clearing was gone, and before them was the stairs leading up to the Legendary Palace with a familiar pink feline waiting for them. When Mew caught sight of them, he Teleported down and grabbed onto DL's head in a hug, and she laughed and picked him up off of her to hold him out at arms' length (with one arm still secure around the Egg, of course), his adorable smile making her want to hug him like a teddy bear. She resisted the urge, however, when she noticed Arceus descending from the air, and she let go of Mew to give a short bow that was spoiled of its grace when she yawned loudly.
The White God Pokemon smiled at her, somehow amused by her lack of manners – or perhaps her attempt to have some – and then he told her, "We'll be having a meeting to determine when you shall visit each Legendary soon, but first I would like to show you where you will spend the days that you aren't spending with a Legendary."
DL nodded, giving Hunter and Mew a smile before following the golden-hoofed Pokemon up into the air (she really wasn't surprised – he was probably using Psychic powers to levitate them both up) up over the stairs and to the huge front doors of the palace. As they left, she heard Hunter mumble, "Watch her trip on nothing but air."
"Second that."
"I third that!"
Hmph, she pouted and crossed her arms, so much for loyalty! Angry at the Ghost-Type especially, she didn't realize that they got to the top of the stairs until they touched down onto the marble, and she stumbled in surprise but stopped herself before she fell flat on her face. After a moment of holding her arms out to steady her, she grinned and turned behind her to shout, "Ha! I didn't fall!" She then turned around and walked right into something white-and-purple, and she ended up falling on her butt and wondering what the hell hit her as she could hear clamoring laughter from below. Her face growing red in embarrassment after figuring it out, she stood up and brushed herself off as she kept her eyes on her hands, not even bothering to try to glare at the ones laughing. Grr, I'll get that brat later. Right now, I have serious business to deal with! But still…GRRRRRRR!
"Mewtwo," Arceus nodded to the Genetic feline, "it is nice to see you here bright and early."
"It's not like I have anything better to do," he replied nonchalantly as he crossed his arms and looked away, seemingly unaffected or not surprised by the fact that the human had just bumped into him as soon as he Teleported. DL frowned at his words, but shook it off when the doors open and the three could walk/float inside to stare up at the enormous front hall. A fountain much like the one in the meeting room was sitting in the middle of the room, and DL smiled at the statue of Mewtwo with his arms crossed and eyes closed and then looked at the real-life Legendary doing exactly the same thing. Wow, it's not hard to see who that statue resembles. Stifling a giggle by covering her mouth with her hand and biting her tongue, she eventually turned more serious and cleared her throat to get the Legendaries' attentions. "So, how exactly have we decided on planning this?"
"Well," Arceus turned to her and bowed his head so that he could look at her at eye-level (it looked kind of painful, really), and then suddenly she had images in her head showing charts and a calendar – she assumed it was the Alpha Legendary and his telepathy. He continued, "Instead of you visiting each Legendary in a row, I gave you a day or so after each visit to relax and send the information to your 'people'."
"Hmm…I see that…." She nodded and agreed with his plan, and then asked, "But what about the order?"
"I would suggest you start with Mew," a day about a week away was circled in her mind, "because he will most certainly talk to you about anything you need to know – and everything you don't – and will warn you about anything before it's too late." An eyebrow raised at that comment, but she kept quiet as he went on. "After that, I'll allow you to choose who you will and select the dates you want to meet them at."
"Err, is there a printer on this thing," she reached over and knocked on his head like a door, laughing a little when he blinked in surprise, before she rubbed soothingly where she had hit him (although she seriously doubt that it had hurt) and asked him, "Is there a way I can get a written calendar of sorts?"
"Of course," he answered softly, and then when he closed his eyes DL felt an overwhelming sensation of something calling, kind of like a phone ringing. Almost immediately, a Gardevoir appeared by his side holding a (she almost laughed) notepad and a pen, and she stood there silently as Arceus motioned for the human to start listing how she wanted the schedule to go.
With the dates Arceus had preset in her mind, DL began filling in the blanks with names before saying aloud, "I think I'll have Rotom on the seventeenth of June, because I'm extremely curious about the little guy." She smiled at the thought of the Electric/Ghost-Type, wondering how he would react to seeing her, before continuing, "And I'll visit Shaymin on the twentieth soon afterwards. And then, I think that Regirock needs a little fun – no, wait! I can't forget Heatran! Okay, she's on the twenty-third, Regigigas will be on the twenty-sixth, and the three Regis will have from the twenty-eighth to the thirtieth. Oh, on the fourth of July, I want to see Jirachi – who knows when he'll leave!"
The Gardevoir nodded all throughout this process, giving suggestions when she saw it fit, and finally snapped it shut before bowing to the human and saying, "Good-bye, Megan." She then went off elegantly, not even giving DL the chance to correct her or bid her farewell. Arceus called after her, "Thank you, Shirley," and she gave a brief nod before disappearing down one of the many hallways. Feeling a bit confused by Shirley, the human was enlightened when the God Pokemon explained at the lost look on her face, "That was Shirley, my assistant as well as Palkia and Dialga's supervisor when I'm not around. Keeping watch over everything is extremely hard on your own, you know."
"Oh, I do know – I've had to baby-sit before." The two looked at her oddly, but she didn't seem to want to elaborate as she shivered and instead changed the subject, "So, err, where exactly will I sleep for the time of my stay?"
"Well, where else would you stay?" The God Legendary looked at her with an eyebrow raised, as if it were such a simple question, a Bidoof could answer it.
"Umm……the…guest room…?"
"Precisely." She was surprised when he told her she was correct, but was even more surprised after they got to the room (the journey was long and tiresome, to say the least, with her being so small compared to most of the Legendaries) and opened the door to stare in awe at the huge room. "Holy Cradily," she breathed as she looked around, "I'm going to be out of breath before I even find the bathroom!"
The part of the room around the immediate vicinity of the door was (of course) marble floors and walls accented with gold everywhere, like an extension of the hallway, but then as you went in further it became like an actual room, with a soft plush-looking red carpet that made her want to crawl on it like a snake on her belly (heheh, she's really weird like that) and the marble on the walls turned into some kind of black-and-swirling-gray stone that contrasted heavily with the front of the room. There were still gold lines in the crevices and nooks and crannies, but now it was mostly a wonderful, colorful scheme that so heavily reminded her of Darkrai and Giratina.
Over on the desk on the other side of the huge bed (it looked like a herd of Rhyhorn would be able to sleep on it with room to spare), she was delighted to see intricately designed slates of different colors sitting in a circle – jade Dragon-Types and (on some kind of orange stone) Fire-Types and such were carved onto their surfaces in excruciating detail – and an orb of dim light hovered in the middle of them so they shimmered and reflected all over the ceiling and walls nearby. Reflections of the Pokemon were all over the wall, with a red Salamence roaring its protest to a purple Espeon, and she smiled as she picked off by name every single Pokemon as if second nature.
I really am amazing, she mentally bragged, walking in and trailing her finger along the wall as she mumbled aloud, "Seviper, Murkrow, Vulpix, Nidorino, and – hey! Butterscotch's cousin!" She laughed as she pointed at the amber-colored Raichu standing on its haunches, ready to shock some imaginary opponent, and she wondered if perhaps these were frozen memories of past epic battles. Shaking the thought from her mind, she turned to the Legendaries waiting at the door – finding that Mew had joined them as well as Hunter – and smiled and commented, "One would think that you actually prepared it just for me!"
"Err…."
"…You…didn't…did you?"
"Well," Mew put his paws together and explained matter-of-factly as he looked up at the ceiling, "we didn't. But, we did use our brains to come up with the idea, and a few friends – who owe us some favors – were kind enough to get the job done. So, technically, we," he motioned to them, "didn't do it."
"Aww…." DL smiled brightly at them and sniffed. "You shouldn't have."
"Hunter told us what colors you liked," Shirley suddenly appeared out of nowhere, making DL and Hunter jump, and then shrugged, "and then it was the simple procedure of getting all of this stuff in. We can change the color of the walls and carpet easily, so we only had to haul in some things to finish the job."
Overwhelmed with happy-happy-joy-joy (which is much more powerful than just normal 'happiness' or 'joy', for they're both doubled and then glued together with hyphens), she ran over and hugged the Gardevoir, squealing, "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"
"I-it wasn't just me," the Psychic- Type stuttered, obviously a bit embarrassed by the affectionate human, "it was some of the assistants as well, like Star a-and Mirror."
DL let go to frown thoughtfully and question, "You mean…Jirachi and Articuno's assistants, the Togekiss and the…Glaceon?"
Seeming a bit impressed that she could remember them, Shirley nodded with a smile and said, "Yes, those two especially liked you, and some of the others helped as well." Smoothing down her white dress as if a bit self-conscious now, she turned to leave when Arceus bade farewell to the human, warning, "Don't tip over that desk, the plates will break."
"Okie-dokie, artichokie!" DL saluted her with a laugh, putting her arm down after she left, and then turned around to survey the room, mumbling to herself, "Star and Mirror, huh? Yeah…." She nodded, suddenly looking determined. "I'll pay them back, somehow."
"Uh-oh," Hunter gulped and pointed at the battle-stance his Trainer was in, "I don't like the look on her face. That always spells trouble."
DL turned around and grabbed one of the Haunter's spikes, mumbling 'shaddup' as she dragged him down the hall, leaving Mewtwo to shake his head and the God Pokemon to chuckle with Mew as they followed her, wondering how a (short) human could have such a powerful aura.
(Legendaries' Meeting Hall, 6:00 a.m.)
"Why did we have to have a meeting the day after we have two in a row?"
"Just because, Groudon, now shh!" The Sea Basin Pokemon covered her sister's mouth with a flipper, hissing, "It's starting!"
Groudon just pouted and crossed her arms as DL mentally snickered on the stage, watching them and shaking her head slightly. I hope they never change, she 'cursed' them, and then turned her attention to the giant Legendary beside her as Rayquaza held up his claws for the others' attentions and rumbled, "Attention, Legendaries, it is time for this meeting to start. DL," he motioned down to her with a dragon-y grin, "I'll let you do the honors."
She nodded up to him, giving him a playful smile back, and then snapped her head to look at the other Pokemon standing there at a loss of what to expect. Without an Egg to look after (she had gotten Butterscotch to do the honors without informing him of where she got it), she felt relieved that she wasn't restricted with her movements anymore. She narrowed her eyes, earning many confused looks, and they all jumped when she suddenly bellowed, "Hey! Are you all ready to learn the schedule?" She was strangely loud and authoritative, with a little secret help from Mew and his Psychic powers to change the volume of her voice, and she stomped her foot on the ground and shouted, "I want everyone's attention! Do you hear me?!"
"Yes, ma'am," she heard them all (except Mewtwo and Darkrai, of course) say, and then her strict face melted into a lighthearted and teasing expression, laughing and saying, "Good!"
She knew they were all confused, and she liked it that way as she pulled out a list and scanned it for any errors, appreciating the God Pokemon's assistant for her perfect skills before looking up as her eyes landed on a certain Electric/Ghost-Type sitting in the front, trembling a bit. "Rotom," she smiled as he jerked up a bit and squeaked at his name, "come here, please." Her polite request made him frown, but he floated forward and came up to the stage to stare back at the human. She must have looked strange, since they still had the image of 'strict DL' fresh in their minds, and she chuckled and told him, "Well, I'll visit you on the…seventeenth of June," she checked the list to be sure, "only about a week from now." He nodded to show he understood and quickly zoomed back down off the stage, as if a bit shaken to be near her, and she laughed and shook her head at him before checking the list and saying aloud, "If Shaymin is here, can she come forward?"
She was delighted to see that the white hedgehog was, in fact, there, and she smiled at the Gratitude Pokemon before informing her, "If you don't have any plans, I have you scheduled for the twentieth. Does that sound good?"
"Yes," the Grass-Type breathed in relief as she nodded quickly, "I'm good."
"Great!" She waited until she was back in her spot, and then called out simply, "Heatran." After the Fire/Steel-Type came up with a nervous grin, DL calmly stated, "Your day has been scheduled to the twenty-third. Okay?" She gave her a look that said 'then we can talk', and Heatran nodded eagerly and babbled, "Of course, that would be great, I mean, the twenty-third is cool, right, Pedal?" She turned her head to the Magmortar back down the stairs, and he simply nodded shortly, looking as if he really didn't want to be brought into this. She smiled, once again scraping the metal of her jaws against each other as she did so, and quickly crawled back down to stand happily beside her assistant, bobbing her head (and the rest of her body) up and down as if filled with boundless energy she needed to expend somehow.
I'm surprised she hasn't erupted with a Heat Wave or something! Smiling a bit at the thought, she cleared her throat to make sure that everyone's attention was still on her and glanced back down at the list. "Let's see, umm…oh, Regigigas?" She found the Regi-Leader standing deep within the crowd and saved him the trouble of coming up there by shouting, "You're on the twenty-sixth, okay?" She saw him wave an arm at her, which was probably the closest thing to a nod he could do, and nodded in reply to look back down mumbling, "Well, those guys are done…ooh, all three Regis?"
They looked at each other nervously.
"You guys are from the twenty-eighth to the thirtieth." They seemed to sigh in relief, as if expecting something worse, and she mentally smirked at the thought of doing something mean to them. …Nah, I'll be nice to them and just jump out of the bushes or something.
"Okay, uhh, Jirachi? Ah, great!" She clapped her hands together when she saw him waving at her cheerfully. "You're still here! Good, 'cause I've put you on for the fourth of July, okay? Try not to leave until then!"
"Oh, for Arceus' sake," she heard someone mutter, and then she found that the list was taken from her hands rather roughly and a voice behind her cleared its throat and mumbled, "Alright, who else is on this bloody list…?"
"Hey!" She tried to turn around to see who it was and snatch the list back from them, but something big was resting on top of her head and prevented her from doing so, and she could only beat at the thing as she growled and shouted, "Hey, that's mine!"
"Oh, stop your fussing," the voice rumbled above her, and after a bit more banging on the temporary weighty hat that was stopping her from turning around, she finally just glanced up and saw the upside-down muzzle of something black, red, gold, and gray. Furrowing her brow in confusion, she eventually realized that a golden-clawed leg was (gently) perched on her head to prevent her from reaching her list as another had the coveted item way above her reach. Growling like a feral dog, she grabbed the foot above her and yanked the toe back at an awkward angle that made her own curl in sympathy.
"Ouch, you're a little Tasmanian Devil, aren't you, squirt?" A long neck bended forward so a great big dragon head could look down at her, seeing an upside-down version of the angry girl's pouting face and chuckling. "And you're the gal everyone's been talking about recently. Funny…I imagined you taller than this."
"Ooh, she won't like that," she heard her Haunter say as she growled and clawed at the unknown Pokemon's leg, and she finally ducked down and slipped from under the foot to fully look up at it and see just who the hell it was. When she examined it, however, she felt her jaw drop, and she stuttered, "G…G…G-Giratina…."
"The one and only," he chuckled at the look of amazement on her face, and then continued scanning the list to comment darkly, "and why am I at the near bottom of the schedule?" It was funny because he said it like 'shed-dule' as if he had forgotten the 'c', and DL giggled a bit before realizing he still had her list and whining, "Give it back!" When he continued looking at it, she growled and leapt up, only managing to grab onto one of his lower knee-brace-things and hang there like a limp noodle, and she wriggled like a dying Goldeen and continued to whine about her list as he looked at it.
"Alright, Deoxys ain't here, so I'll tell her about her 'appointment'," he scoffed at the word, and then bellowed, "now, Mewtwo's on the twelfth of July, Manaphy's on the fourteenth, Cresselia's on the sixteenth, and Darkrai's on the eighteenth, iight?" He heard their consent, and then nodded and continued on with the list. "Then, Celebi's got the twenty-first, the Spirit Trio has the twenty-fourth through to the twenty-sixth, and the Eon Siblings are the twenty-ninth and the thirtieth. Clear so far?"
"Heeeeeeeeey! Give it baaaaaaaack!"
"Shush, squirt, I'm making faster progress than you," he patted her on the head lightly with his foot after shaking her off of his leg, and when she tried to bite it he only moved her aside with a chuckle before going on, "Raikou has the first of August, Entei has the third, and Suicune has the fifth, while Moltres has the ninth, Zapdos has the eleventh, and Articuno has the fourteenth. Then, after that is Lugia on the seventh and Ho-oh on the eighteenth, Groudon on the twentieth, Kyogre on the twenty-second, Dialga on the twenty-seventh, and Palkia on the twenty-ninth."
DL had her arms crossed, pouting while the other Legendaries snickered and muttered things to each other, and she grumbled as he paused for a moment, "Are you through yet?"
"Almost, squirt."
"DL."
"And last, but certainly not least," he seemed to ignore her, only infuriating her more, "I'm on the first three days of September, while my bro, and God, Arccy," he received a sour look from the white Alpha Legendary as well as a 'I'm not your brother', "has the fifth through to the ninth. Now," he finally dropped the list to the ground, allowing DL to catch it and clutch it greedily to her stomach as she glared at him, "any questions? No?" He grinned a somewhat lopsided dragon-y smirk something like Rayquaza's but with a more mischievous undertone to it, and then stepped back with a mumbled, "Take the floor, Arccy."
"Thank you," the God Pokemon grumbled sarcastically to him so that only DL who was closest to them could hear, and then he raised his head and stepped forward with the imposing air of a leader causing everyone to immediately draw their attention to him. "Since our meeting was sped up," he gave a short glare to the Ghost/Dragon-Type, "you may all leave, but don't forget! Our guest will come knocking on your door when it's time, and you will answer it without hesitation." He waited until he got nods from everyone – even Giratina and DL – before nodding himself and saying, "This meeting is adjourned. Dismissed!"
