Random drabble I thought of in school. Enjoy!

Paper Planes

A paper airplane soared through her open window.

Deep in thought, she ignored it as it did a loop in the air and rested silently on the floor. A minute after another one followed it, this one crashing into the wall where her bed was and landing, slightly bent, on the purple blanket. This one got the same treatment.

She was thinking about him.

She wondered what she liked about him. Why she liked him. She had so many options stretched before her, so many things she could be doing or working at. So many other things she could be thinking about. Yet all she was thinking about was him.

Why?

He was goofy. He wasn't like her at all. Mostly he acted a fool, always tickling her to try and make her laugh or making funny faces. She'd keep a straight face and maybe even hit him, but in truth she wanted to give out a great big laugh, and smile to her heart's content. She wanted to make him laugh.

She hated to admit it, but she was crazy about him.

Suddenly another paper airplane sailed in, this one, carried by a stray breeze, landing right before her on the desk. She slowly picked it up and, after studying it for awhile, unfolded it and read the crooked writing in black marker.

Cool Blue Sky!

She tossed the paper on the desk and stood up, walking to the window and leaning out. There he stood a few inches from her window, breathlessly folding another paper airplane. He looked up, pink-cheeked, and saw her, and his face curved into a smile.

"Cool Blue Sky!" he called, backing up and throwing the paper airplane at her. She caught it in a smooth rotation of her arm but didn't open it. All she did was give her rare smile, and the breeze blew past her ears and she knew why she liked him.

Hayate was the only one who, on any given day, would stand below her window throwing paper airplanes with love messages on them.

That's all, folks. :P I feel fluffy. Lol. I don't really support HotaruxHayate, but suddenly I like them a lot more. :)
