Hello everyone, this is me again, adding another chapter to this story.., so I can't actually promise anything yet cause I haven't wrote any… but I'm full of ideas.. (I'm actually watching a movie.. Bob the butler ¬¬ so this can take a while, for me to write, but I enjoy it very much)

Here it goes, chapter 3…

-"Memories"-

There were still two weeks left for Peyton's Sawyer and Jake's Jagliesky wedding. It was going to be a little bit private, small but traditional. They didn't have many people to invite, some family and their school friends. Most of that people didn't live in Tree Hill anymore, so some of them were starting to arrive.

Brooke and David were the first to arrive. From the moment they landed she started to get a little paranoid… She looked everywhere on the way from the airport to the house… Somehow she couldn't stop thinking about someone who she hadn't think of in a few time. Even though, there was always something that reminded her to him, every little thing.. any little detail, a basket ball… any book whatever… it always put a smile on her face. A smile that suddenly faded when she reminded that he had never answered the letter. But now she felt a little nervous because she was close to know the truth, why didn't he answer the letter…

"Ok honey you'll have to tell me where to turn cause it can be all in the same direction" David complained, they had rented a car… David insisted he wanted to go round town… like if there was much to see Brooke thought…

"Sorry, oh.. uhmm.. we passed you should have turned left on that one.. but it's kind of the same" she said not paying much attention to the road

"No worries, I'll turn on the next" he answered and then he continued one more block then turned left.

Once they got to the house, it was Brooke's old house, it was kind of big for the two of them… but still it was kind of big when it was only her…Brooke parents got rich again, and insisted on buying her the house she never wanted to leave… it wasn't the house really what she didn't want to leave, though…but little did they know, they were never home.

That house brought Brooke a lot of memories. In fact the whole creepy town brought her memories she thought were forgotten. Some of those memories felt good, like spending a whole with her best friend, doing absolutely nothing except listening to music and painting her nails, while well.. Peyton was drawing as always and every now and then there was a discussion about what song they were going to listen then… which of course that was a constant fight since the two girls have very different taste in music.

It also reminded her all those good parties she had thrown… thank God that was really in the past and it's been a lot.. years since she wasn't that party Brooke.. that thought of course took her mind back at certain someone.. called Lucas Scott… the guy she changed for. Even if Brooke didn't know that she was in love with Lucas back a few years ago when she made a click and changed from the party Brooke to the girl who could actually cared about someone and most important about herself… she kind of sensed there was someone behind, that was helping her to change, for good… and it couldn't be Felix… because… no.. and Peyton had her own personal drama by that time… while Haley was busy with her music and then one day she was gone… Nathan wasn't himself by that time… So the only name she came across with was again Lucas… yeah it definitely had to be because of him… she found herself smiling once again.

"This house is really something Brooke" David smiled helping her with the bags

"Yeah, I know… " she smiled, carrying some of the stuff from the car to the house steps

"Wow, a red door.. that's pretty original" he said… most doors were brown, wooden colored

"I know… it made me feel kind of special" she smiled remembering the night she told Lucas she loved to be the girl behind the red door, and then how nice he was painting his own door red and letting her stay in his room… He actually got his room all girly for her…

"You sure are special" he said and kissed her cheek "come on I want to see the inside" he smiled opening the door

The house still had that smell… of fresh furniture, though now it was mixed with and old smell…

Once they finished packing, and organizing everything they both sat on the couch relaxing for a while…

"You know, I should be going to meet Peyton" Brooke said. She was resting her head on David's chest while he played with her hair.

"And what am I supposed to do while you are gone?" he said

"Well.. you were the one who wanted to rent a car to go around town, why don't you do that" she giggled

"Well I guess I could… I just thought you were gonna give me like a tour or something, you know" he smiled

"Uhm.. well I can still do that, you should definitely visit.. I don't know.. there isn't any exciting place to go in here" she lied… well it wasn't a completely lie.. there were places that meant a lot to Brooke, and even if they weren't historical or cool, fun or whatever… they actually were for her.. like Karen's café, the school's old gym.. the river court.. and that bench in front of the river at the pier…

"Ok, don't worry I'll find something to do, while you are catching up with your friends, alright?" he smiled and kissed her… He was really sweet and had the patience of the gods with her…

"Thanks" she said kissing him back "I'll try to arrange dinner tonight with Jake and Peyton so they can meet you"

"Perfect, just give me a call whenever you want me to rescue you" he said "and I'll be right there" that actually made Brooke laugh

"Ok, I will, though I don't think I would be needing any rescue, I'm just meeting with my best friend" she said

"I know.. but you can always.. miss me" he said flirty

"Oh.. yeah, maybe I will" she smiled and kissed him again "I'll see you later" she said looking for her coat and getting ready to go outside.. she made a pause at the door and turned to her boyfriend "Dave?" she said

"Yeah?" he answered taking a sip from his beer

"I love you" she smiled and waited for him to say it back, he always did

He smiled, this wasn't the first time she said those words to him, but it's been a while since she reminded him that she loved him

"I love you too, babe" he answered.. and then she was ready to leave.

She knew Peyton's address because it has always been the same. Peyton still lived on her old white house.

Peyton, Jake and Jenny were what Brooke most knew of a very happy family, although they weren't married yet. She was proud of Peyton, because she ahs always been a role model to Jenny… She loved that little girl as if it was her own, and loving a child of someone else as your one was a hard thing to do, at least for someone who was (by the time) seventeen years old, but Peyton always made that look easy instead of hard… Brooke loved Jenny too, she was a really sweet and pretty girl.. though the last time she saw her she was even a year old…

Brooke kept on thinking about Peyton and Jake, until she got to the house.. she saw lights on and smiled… She was about to see he very first best friend, the one she hadn't seen in about five years or so…

She walked the steps and made her way to the door… A few years ago she would go through the door like if it wasn't even there… she never minded on knocking, since Peyton would never answer the door… But this time it was different, they were all grown-ups now, so she actually had to knock….

She finally knocked to door, and after a couple of seconds.. which seemed like minutes, hours and more… " Cominggg" a male voice came form the inside, then the door was opened revealing a tall man on the other side of it.

"Brooke?… Oh my God… hey!" he said

Brooke looked at him stunned and suddenly smiled…
