Here I am once again… writing for you guys before leaving tomorrow! (I'll explain at the end) So I hope you enjoy what I am about to write :P

-"Happy Tears"-
"Hey Jake" she smiled
Jake looked the same but different at the same time. His Face was the same.. except for some tiny bear and his hair was a little bit longer than usual… but not that long.. it make him look hot..
"Brooke, it's so good to see you" he said hugging her "god.. look at you.. you look so.. grown- up" he chuckled
"oh come on… it's been five years" she said blushing a little
"That's my point precisely" he said..
Then a familiar voice was heard form the inside "Jake who is it?" the voice said
"Peyton would you mind coming here for a second" he said in a loud voice but not that loud "she will be so happy to see you… she's really nervous you know"
"Yeah, I can imagine" she said
Peyton came from upstairs, her hair was still blonde and longer that what it used to be, she was thinner like always, she looked beautiful and of course, for the smile on her face she looked happy. "Jenny finally fall asleep" she said coming down, not realizing who was at the door "oh my God!" she smiled noticing Brooke "B. Davis" she said excited and hugged her
"P. Sawyer! It's really good to see you again" Brooke said
"You know she won't be P. Sawyer in a couple of days" Jake said closing the door once the girls had come inside.
"Of course, why do you think I'm here" Brooke smiled "congratulations, to both f you" she said
"Thanks Brooke" Peyton said and Jake wrapped his arms around her… Peyton looked at Brooke and smiled "Oh my God, Brooke you look amazing… aghhh I missed you so much" she said and made Brooke laugh
"Are you kidding me? Look at you! I love your hair!" she said "I'm the same as always" she chuckled
The girls talked and talked nonstop for hours, Jake finally got tired of listening and went to the kitchen and made something to eat, then when he was finished he came with a tray with sodas and something to eat for the girls. Then as they were still talking about all they had been through since school finished he rolled his eyes… and went to see some tv… how was it possible that they talked that much.. they never got tired.. they talked on the phone almost every day. How could they still have things to talk about… He gave up with those thoughts and turned ESPN on to watch some basketball.
"I can't believe one of us is getting married… and I can't believe it's you" Brooke laughed
"Well.. technically Nathan and Haley were the first so…" she chuckled
"Yeah but you know what I mean… It's really great how everything worked up for you and Jake… you guys got Jenny back and you seem happy"
"I am happy… this is great.. I can't wait for the day to come and finally can be Mrs. Jagliesky, Jake's wife and Jenny's mother" she smiled.. her eyes were shinning so bright
"You already are Jenny's mother" Brooke said honestly… "From the day you elt Jake into your house, and helped him"
"Yeah but, this is different"
"Well I think you are gonna be a great mom, then" Brooke smiled
"Thanks Brooke… for everything, for being here… I cannot believe you are here… I still can't"
"How could I not be here, my best friend's wedding.. I would miss it! Specially since I'm your maid of honor"
"Of courseeee" she answered "you and Hales"
"Right!" Brooke clapped excited, she loved weddings "So.. when is she coming, she and Nate, I want to see them"
"I think they should be here tomorrow" Peyton said "I talked to her.. but Jenny was crying so loud I barely listened to what she said" she chuckled "I should call her later tonight"
"Good great.. and where are they staying, cause.. I have plenty space at home, we are just two.. in a five bedroom house" Brooke said… home meaning her house in Tree Hill.
"Hold on… where the hell is David? I want to meet him!" Peyton said
"He's at home.. he wanted to take a look round town… explore…" Brooke said, with eyes wide open.
"What is there to explore in here?" Peyton chuckled
"That's what I said! But he insisted… He really wanted to come, but I first needed some time alone with my best friend bride and wife to be" she smiled
"Well I'm glad you decided that first" Peyton said eating some cake Jake had brought for them.
There was a silence between them, and it was enough to hear the television jake was watching… NBA sports, the New York Knicks against San Antonio Spurs… the tv host said something about the Scott Brothers and their incredibly connection on the court that night… Peyton looked at Brooke, who sighed when she heard that…
"so.. how are you?" Peyton finally said
Brooke took a piece of cake as well and then looked surprised and a bit confused with Peyton's question…
"What do you mean?" she said taking a sip from her soda.
"Are you still thinking about him?" Peyton finally said
"I'm with David you know… so no I haven't think about him at all" Brooke lied… Peyton could notice that, of course they were best friends for some reason.. but she decided to buy it…
"You know he's gonna be here… and he's Jake's best man"
"Really? Well.. I know he's going to come.. what do you want me to do.. I'll try to avoid him…" she said
"Or… you can both be grown- ups and say hi to each other, play along for a while" Peyton said.
"I don't know… I mean he doesn't love me anymore, right cause if he did then he would have answered that letter… the letter I sent him telling him how I felt and how much I missed him" Brooke said as Peyton looked a little confused and lost…
"I really doubt that Brooke" Peyton said again, didn't Brooke just said that she was over him…
"Nah, I don't… it's pretty clear.. he's going to come here with his new girlfriend… probably some bitch… Someone who is only with him for his money…" Brooke rambled… someone who only was with him because of his money… maybe that meant that there was never going to be a woman that will love Lucas as much as she did…
Peyton laughed "Brooke come on.. I'm sorry I brought this up" she said
"Yeah well.. I'm sorry too.." Brooke answered.. her mind was still on Lucas, though…
"So.. what are you going to do tonight?" Peyton asked taking a sip from her soda too
"Well, actually Lucas and I…" she said and it made Peyton spit all the soda she had on her mouth "nice.. I'm sorry David and I" she said cleaning the table "were thinking of going out for dinner with you" she finally ended
"Well, I like that idea.. just be sure you are taking David and not Lucas" Peyton joked… but Brooke didn't laugh… "Sorry…" Peyton chuckled… "well.. I should probably get a nanny for Jenny… she played all day with Jake at the park, so now she's been sleeping it off" Peyton smiled
"Awww I want to see her, I really missed my baby girl" Brooke said
"Well I promise tomorrow you can take her out and bond like you used to do" Peyton said
"Perfect, so we are going shopping tomorrow"
"Great! You know… there is something I still need you ask you" Peyton said pulling Brooke upstairs to her old room
"Wow.. haven't you thought about…painting you walls tidily?" Brooke chuckled when they got inside…
Peyton's old room was as it used to be.. drawings on the walls.. the only difference was that most of them were happy drawings, and the others were some Jenny seemed to had drawn… There was a big picture of Jenny and Jake together, made of course by Peyton.
All the music cd's were still there… there were a lot more by now…
"Are you crazy… I wouldn't change this room… never" she said "Actually what I wanted to show you is this…" she said taking out a box and from the inside a beautiful white dress, of course it was her wedding gown "This is the dress my mom… uhm.. adoptive one" she said and rolled her eyes "…used when she got married to my dad, Larry" she continued "it looks a little bit old and… scruffy… so I was hoping you would…" she got interrupted by Brooke
"I would love to" she said with a smiled that went from one side of her ear to the other one
"Really? I mean.. I know it's short notice and all but still?"
"Of course P. Sawyer!" Brooke said and hugged her "God.. this is going to be wonderful" she said now in tears… that made Peyton cry too
"I know, thanks best friend… what would I do with out you"
"I'm crying! " Brooke said
"I know, me too"
"but these are happy tears" she said hugging her tightly
Brooke and Peyton stayed there talking a little bit more till it was time for Brooke to go back home, since she needed to get David and herself ready for tonight. The four of them were going out for dinner.
Brooke got home and found David with a basket ball on his hand… he had been looking around but inside of the house…
"Baby I'm back…" she said and noticed him with the b-ball "what are you doing with that?" she asked nervously… and afraid Lucas was going to come out form th kitchen or somewhere… of course that was not going to happen…
"Hey.. uhm.. I found this on your closet.. I was looking for my jacket" he said "I didn't know you played basketball" he said
"I don't… the fact that I have a b-ball… it doesn't mean I play it, you know" she laughed still nervous.. "a lot of people have… and they don't use them"
"yeah well… it is deflated anyway… so nobody used it in a long while" he joked
That ball was from Lucas… he must have left it there sometime… Five years ago…
"Anyway.. leave that and go get change we are going out for dinner with Peyton and Jake" she smiled taking the ball from his hands and putting it back, inside of the closet…
As David was told he took a quick shower, and got changed… Brooke did the same only that she took a little bit longer since she had to put make- up on and everything… but David was used to it, in fact he loved watching Brooke while she got ready.
Once they were both ready he kissed her and they went to their car…..
Peyton and Jake got ready too and waited for the nanny to arrive, so then the could leave to the restaurant Jake had made a reservation.
The four had a great dinner together, Peyton and Jake got to meet David.. Brooke was happy with the whole situation, because David was nice and funny, and thank god no one mentioned 'old boyfriends' or anything about Brooke's past… in fact he was more intrigued on how Jake and Peyton met….
Ok guys… this will be my last update until… next week.. I'm leaving tomorrow and I wont be back until February… but in a week or so I'll go to my cousins house, where I can write.. since they are going away on vacation too and I'm staying in and take care of their house, lol…. So I will probably update then…
I hope you liked this chapter… it's not Brucas yet, but trust me it's getting really closer… for next chapter I promise Brooke and Lucas will meet again, and it's going to be awesome :D
