"Spencer, don't freak out when I tell you this okay?Just let me say what I have to say."
"Sure Ashley, you can tell me anything, you know that right?"
"Yeah," I sure hope so, Ashley thought. Well here goes nothing, or everything.
"So, I know you are with Carmen and I respect that and I am happy for you but, I can't stop thinking of us and what we could be, should be. And now, I'm here to tell you that I am so, truly, madly, and deeply in love with you. I know you might hate me but I couldn't stand not letting you know. So if you don't want to talk to me anymore I totally understa-" And I was cut off of my rambling by Spencer's lips on mine, so sweet and soft.
As we pulled apart I rested my forhead against Spencer's while we were trying to control our breaths. "What took you so long? I am so truly madly and deeply in love with you too Ash. And I broke it off with Carmen tonight, I couldn't stop seeing your face everytime I kissed her."
And then, if possible, my smile got even bigger.
"Let's go home." We both said in unison with big smiles on our face. And with that we walked hand in hand back home.
