OK, so I had a lot of fun with this chapter. I just hope none of my friends ever read this otherwise I will never have anyone to go to the cinemas with. Hopefully, my parents are going to Cleethorpes tomorrow so I will have the house to myself so I can write more on this. On a side note, Cleethorpes is a sea side town in … North Yorkshire I think. Or East Yorkshire… I failed Geography so meh.
Big thanks to rin916, AnimeLuver4Ever, ninetailsgirl94, blazingkyoshadowingyuki, spliheart1120, Starfire1407 and Kurai Dawn for reviewing. Thanks guys!
Now with the story of which fandom I do not own,
Chapter Three: The Cinemas
"Why are we here again?" Misty asked Dawn as she led them to the cinema. Dawn giggled.
"Paul said they were coming to the cinema today," Dawn explained, "I wonder what they'll go to see."
"There's that new action movie," Linnet said, "Knowing the guys they'll go and see that."
"Does everyone have what I told them to bring?" Dawn asked, smiling widely. Misty and May opened their bags and pulled out various things.
"Plastic spiders, tape recorder, feather and the fake hand from last Halloween," May said.
"I've got four masks, my mini iced water gun and my pea shooter," Misty added. The girls looked at Linnet. She was holding a carrier bag. She opened it and looked in it.
"I've got my stink perfume, flash light and fake blood," Linnet said.
"And finally I have my sound effects key ring, another flash light and gum," Dawn cheered, "This is going to be awesome."
"So what is the plan, Dawn?" May asked.
"We get into the movie they are in," Dawn replied, "Which is why I told you to bring a disguise."
"Coolio," May cheered, "This is going to be epic."
"Right," Linnet said, pulling out a red wig. She put her hair up into a bun and dumped the wig on her head. It was a red bob style with a square fringe. Linnet put on some thick glasses. She pulled out her compact mirror and brown eyeliner. She drew a few freckles on her cheeks. "Do I look different?"
The other three girls nodded before getting their disguises on.
Five minutes later the four friends walked over to the cinema and waited for a while until they saw the boys walking towards them.
"There they are," Dawn muttered. May giggled and bit her lip. Misty winked at her friends and walked towards the guys. She didn't look like Misty. She had dark brown hair that was long a wavy with heavy make up on her face. She looked brilliant and not at all the tomboy the guys were used to seeing. Misty had swapped a few clothes with Linnet to make her less sporty too.
"Aren't you four a bunch of cuties," Misty said winking at the boys. She put her hands on her hips as the boys stopped. Paul rolled his eyes and continued walking. The other three stopped to chat. Of course, Misty instantly caused Drew and Gary's ego to inflate five times their usual size. Misty giggled. "Like, you're so totally cute!"
"Trixie," Misty heard Linnet and May yell. Linnet stood looking shyly at the boys while May was glaring at Misty like she was doing something wrong. May was now a black head with purple streaks in her hair. Her hair was straight and went past her shoulders. She looked quite gothic, wearing mostly black.
"I told you," May warned Misty, "We're here to cheer up Sunny. Can you remember why that is?"
"Like, I'm so sorry," Misty replied, rubbing her head, "I like totally forgot about that."
"You're unbelievable," May yelled. She turned to the guys and looked them up and down. "Don't mind our friend. She jumps anything that moves."
"No sweat," Gary said, smiling at May, "We get that all the time."
"Really? Well I am surprised," May retorted.
"April," Linnet muttered, "That's really mean."
"Oh sush," May said, "Let's go and find Sunny."
"See you later, cuties!" Misty yelled as she was dragged away by May. She turned round and blew the boys a kiss while May wasn't looking. The boys titled their heads to the side and let out a sigh.
"She was cute," Gary mumbled.
"So nice," Drew said. Ash nodded.
Paul was walking towards his friends, having bought the tickets for them. He glanced at the three girls as they walked past him. Stupid girls. He put his hands in his pockets and glared at his friends. Stupid friends.
"Excuse me!"
Paul stopped and looked round. A blonde girl was running towards him. She looked worried. She was also holding his phone in her hand. How the heck had she got that? Paul checked his pockets. No, his phone wasn't there.
"You dropped this when getting your wallet," the girl explained as she stopped in front of him, "I tried to tell you before but you weren't listening."
"Sorry," Paul said. She passed him his phone back. She smiled at him. "Thanks."
"I'm glad I could help," she replied. With that she left. Paul stared after her for a few second until Gary clipped him on the shoulder.
"Wow, she looked nice," Gary said loudly, "A nice little blonde for Paulie?"
"I swear I've seen her before," Paul muttered, "Her eyes…"
"Whatever," Drew said with a shrug, "Let's go to the movie!"
"Popcorn!" Ash yelled.
"No, no popcorn," Gary told Ash. Ash mumbled something under his breath but Paul was still staring after the girl. She met up with three others, the same three that had been talking to the guys a few minutes before. They disappeared into the cinema. Paul shook his head. It was official, the hormones were beginning to take over his mind. Once the invasion was complete then it would be bye-bye Paul Shinji, hello weird hormone boy.
Never-the-less he followed his friends into the cinema, pushing all thoughts of the blonde girl to the back of his mind. It still bugged him. It was like he had looked into those eyes only yesterday.
The girls hid as the boys entered the theatre. Thankfully, for them, the back row had already been taken so the boys were forced to sit further down. The girls shared silent giggles before they made their way closer to the boys. They sat quietly for a while, not even daring to speak to each other.
The movie began playing, Paul already looked bored. The other guys were watching the film. Ash was eating popcorn as he watched. Gary and Drew had a box between them but they were hardly eating it. Dawn nodded at May. May smirked as she carefully slipped the hand from Halloween into the guys' popcorn box. Fortunately there was a loud explosion on the movie as May did this so they didn't notice at all.
May ducked behind the seats once again, sharing a silent giggle with the girls before it was Linnet's turn. Linnet was armed with the feather. She gently stroked Gary's cheek with it before ducking down again. Gary looked at Drew. Confused slightly, he looked back at the movie. Linnet smirked before she sat up again and did the same thing to Drew. Drew looked at Gary oddly for a few seconds before turning back to the screen. This went on for the next few minutes while Misty loaded her water gun. She smirked at Dawn before she crawled along the seats until she was behind Ash. Ash was gulping down handfuls of popcorn. He would never notice her.
"Would you stop that?" Gary hissed at Drew suddenly.
"Me stop what? You're the one tickling me," Drew snapped.
"AH!" Ash yelped, almost jumping out of his seat, "That was cold!"
The three guys glanced behind them but no one was sat on the seats on the row behind. They shrugged and looked back at the front.
Dawn nodded at May who went underneath the seats with the flash light and began to tie the guys' laces together. Meanwhile Misty, so there would be a distraction, had swapped her water gun for her pea shooter. This time Ash wasn't the target. No, they needed a much bigger target for this.
Paul jumped ever so slightly as something hit his nose. He glanced round but the only person who was moving was Ash. Paul eyed Ash's popcorn wearily. It was almost gone now. Paul let out a sigh and turned his attention back to the film. He was bored beyond belief. How did this film get such a good rating? It was rubbish!
Paul growled as something hit him again, this time it was his cheek. He refused to acknowledge it this time. It happened again. And again. And again.
"Stop that," Paul snapped across at Ash. Ash, who was sat on the other side of Drew and Gary, looked around clueless.
"Stop what, Paul?" Ash asked.
"Throwing things at me," Paul replied, "It's annoying."
"Dude, Ash hasn't been throwing things at you," Gary told Paul. Paul picked a kernel off his jacket and showed it to Gary. Gary and Drew looked at Ash, waiting for an explanation. Ash looked lost.
"It wasn't me," Ash said.
"Sure Ash," Gary said, "Real mature."
"But it wasn't," Ash moaned.
"Let's just watch the movie, eh?" Drew suggested.
"Fine," Paul snapped.
"But it wasn't me," Ash repeated.
The boys returned to watching the movie. The girls were still hidden behind the seats. They were smiling at each other. Dawn pulled out her sound effects key ring and pressed a button.
Gary and Drew looked around as they heard a loud fart noise. They looked directly at Ash. Ash was sulking while still eating his popcorn. The guys were glaring at him.
Behind them Linnet got out her stinky perfume and sprayed it around.
"Oh gross!" Gary yelled, leaning away from Ash. Ash looked at them before smelling the rancid perfume.
"Ash! That's disgusting!" Drew barked at his friend. Ash looked confused again.
"What have I done?" he asked.
"What do mean, what have you done?" Gary yelled. Paul glanced at his friends before rolling his eyes. "You know what you have done!"
"And that is?" Ash asked, still clueless. While the guys were yelling at Ash, May slipped the plastic spiders into Gary's hair. Since Gary's hair was held up with so much gel, it was easier to put stuff in his hair without him noticing, or so Linnet had claimed. The girls giggled silently once more.
"Ah," Drew gasped, "Gary… What's that… In your hair?"
"What in my hair?" Gary asked. Drew paled as Gary reached around his hair. He felt the spider and froze. "Is that… Is that a spider?"
"Yeah," Drew replied. Gary and Drew looked at each other before they yelled. The spider was shot backwards onto the floor. There was giggling from behind the boys. They slowly turned round to find four people sat behind them with zombie like features. Ash looked behind him too to see what the others were looking at. The three of them screamed loudly. Paul looked around, half in surprise, half in annoyance. However before he could get a better look at what his friends were screaming at, he was pulled from his chair like something was pulling his left foot.
Drew knocked over the popcorn, making half of it spill onto the floor. The hand that May had buried in it was suddenly visible. The boys caught sight of this and screamed once again. They rushed to get out of their seats but they fell over the moment they tried to take a step. Their shoe laces were tied together. Paul looked rather annoyed but quickly bent over to untie his shoes from the others before he was pulled along with the others. Once free Paul watched in amusement as his friend tried to scramble out of the theatre, absolutely terrified by who ever it was behind them. Quite a few people laughed at them as they continually fell over.
Paul looked behind him to see what had scared his friends. He smirked at the four people sat there wearing Halloween masks.
"Nice job, Linnet," Paul said.
Linnet took off her mask without removing her disguise. She winked at Paul. The other girls followed suit. Paul smirked at them upon seeing the girls from outside the cinema.
"How did you know it was us?" Linnet asked, leaning forwards.
"Who else could it be?" Paul replied. The girls giggled. "Nicely done by the way."
"Not my idea," Linnet said, "It was Dawn's."
Paul glanced at the blonde who was smiling happily to herself. Paul blinked a few times. His heart did a summersault as she laughed at him. Slowly Paul rolled his eyes.
"Typical," he said, "I invite you out and you do this to us."
"Face it, Paul," Linnet told him, "You've met your match with Dawn."
Paul nodded but only slightly.
"I suppose I have," he agreed.
So Paul has met his match? What will they do next? Will Paul finally have the chance to tell Dawn his… feelings? Does Paul even have feelings? Why am I asking so many questions? I have no idea. I should really stop drinking during the week. *ahem* Drinking is bad for you. I know, I am a student. I have lost many a friend to alcohol (seriously, they tend to wonder off when drunk). So the moral to this story is say no to alcohol *nods* that way you can take embarrassing photos of your friends when they've had way too much.
Shutting up now. Please review and check out my blog for my next release.
