There once was a baby Turtwig. Alone, she often wandered around and talked to herself. That was, at least, until she met Pidgey, who would change he life forever.

Oh, the fun they had! They often dressed the same, took walks together, or even snuck out side at night to look at the stars. They grew, and the Pidgey evolved. First it became a beautiful Pidgeotto, learning to fly. Then she became a Pidgeot, and she soared. Although she had trouble reaching the skies around others, Turtwig knew of her brilliance. But… the Turtwig didn't evolve. Stuck on the ground, she found most of her enjoyment watching Pidgeot touch the clouds, and Turtwig often wondered if she'd ever learn to fly.

To Turtwig, Pidgeot was the greatest there was, and Turtwig did her best to tell Pigeot, Pidgeot would just brush it off. They were the best of friends, so close that rumors spread. They began to joke about being married, or secretly loving each other, but every time they did a little bit of Turtwig died, knowing it was all a joke.

The hardest thing Turtwig did is be Pidgeot's bridesmaid. It was not tears of happiness that dripped down her face when Pidgeot kissed Blaziken. And although being "Aunt Turtwig" had its ups, whenever she saw the children, a knife struck her in the heart.

And when Pidgeot, at an old age, was hospitalized, Turtwig never, ever left her side. Not even after the funeral.
