"Sebastian Cole Smythe? What the hell are you doing?"

A 6 year old Sebastian sits in his room covered in glitter, playing with his toy dinosaurs. "I'm playing with my new dinosaurs, daddy! Wanna see?"

Joseph Smythe pinches the bridge of his nose and takes a deep breath. "Why is there glitter all over your room?"

"Mommy had some in her craft box. The glitter makes the dinosaurs more special, see?" Sebastian holds up a bright pink stegosaurus, making it gallop for his father.

Joseph bends down to Sebstian's level. "Don't you wanna play with that new baseball and mitt I bought you? You can practice your swing?"

"No, daddy! The dinosaurs need to be seen so they don't go extinct! That's what all the glitters for!"

His father stands up and looks at him, looks at his room and sighs heavily, turning around to leave. "No, wait, daddy! I want to show you the-" he stopped when his father slammed the door to his room shut loudly.

"Sugar Leigh Motta, what the hell were you thinking?"

Sugar sits at her kitchen table, her mother and father pacing back and forth in front of her. "I just can't believe you would do something like this, Sugar! This is not like you! You are usually such a sweet girl…" her mother said, looking at her distressed.

"Those were not sweet girls, momma! They were being total bitches…"

"Language, young lady!"

"Daddy, you don't understand! They were making fun of Leslie. I wanted to fuc-" she stopped herself, looking up at her parents, "I just wanted to make them stop. They needed to leave her the hell alone!"

"What I don't understand, Sugar, is why you told that poor girl that her parents didn't love her."

"Her parents don't fucking love her! How could they love a fucking bitch like her!" Sugar said, standing up out of her chair, screaming.

"That's it, young lady. Upstairs. You are grounded for a month."

"I hate you!" she says, storming up the stairs and slamming her door loudly.
