CHAPTER 3

THE FIGHT

The inside was more amazing than I thought it would be. Neon signs were strung on every wall in the club, giving it most of its lighting. Speakers were blaring techno music were set up around the club. She looked down at her feet to see that were she stepped, under her feet looked like fireflies that disappeared after a few seconds. She looked up at Rouge shouting over the music. "Rouge this place is awesome!" I shouted. Rouge held a finger up, then ran over to the DJ, saying something to him, then ran back over to us. "ok everyone this song was requested by the sexiest bat I know!" "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston began to play. I began to jump up and down. "I love this song!" I shouted. Cream grabbed our arms and dragged us towards the dance floor. "Well then quit talking and come dance!"

I heard a scream behind me. I turned to see Knuckles jump in the air, his arms spinning violently, and land on the DJ. I sighed shaking my head and returned to dancing.

When the song ended we walked over to the bar where Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and Cheese were. Rouge sat next to Knuckles, Cream sat next to Tails, Cheese perched on Tails' head, and I sat next to Sonic and layed my head on his arm. He had a glass of tea in one hand, using the free one to wrap it around me. He smiled at me. "Having a good time?" He asked me. "Yes" I replied. He smiled and took another sip of his tea. 'odd that tea smells alot like...' My eyes widened. I jerked the glass from him before he could take another sip. "HEY!" He shouted. "Sonic you're 17 you shouldn't be drinking!" I shouted to him a worried expression on my face. "So..." He said, shrugging. "So? SO? So you don't care if have a wreck? so you dont care if you hit a pedestrian? So, you don't care if you hurt someone? So you don't care if hurt yourself?" I said, concerned. He didn't reply. I looked down. "I'd like to go home now, Sonic." He stood and headed for the door, and I followed after him.

The ride back to the house was silent. He walked in and I followed absent mindedly locking the door behind me. I turned and looked at him. "You know I don't see why you're so mad it was just one beer." I said, looking at his back, crossing my arms. Still not looking at me he said, "It's not that." I tilted my head looking at him. "Then why are you so mad?" He spun around looking at me, hatred burning in his emerald eyes. "You." He said. Anger overtook me. "Me? ME? What do I have to do with it?" I shouted, raged. "You take the fun out of everything, Amy! You always chase me around when I'm just trying to get some space! You always get in trouble and I have to come save you! Well I'm tired of it! Like tonight! All I was going to have was one beer. One! And you took it from me!" He raged, motioning outward and stepping closer to me. My vision blurred. "WELL MAYBE I JUST CARE ABOUT YOU!" I raged back. A burst of wind hit me. I opened my eyes to find myself alone, my front door wide open.

I walked over closing it then put my back against it, sliding to the floor. I put my head on my knees, my vision blurring more. I felt warmth on my cheeks. I bit my lip closing my eyes, sobbing quietly.

After about 5 minutes, I stood and walked up the stairs, slowly. She walked over to her closet and grabbed a pair of comfy shorts and an old grey hoodie and put them on. She shrugged over to the bed and stepped into it slowly and pulled the covers up to her chin. She looked at the ceiling then her eyes slowly closed.

Eclipse: Pretty Awesome Huh? Rate Comment and-

Sonic: TASTE THE EFFIN RAINBOW! *pegs Eclipse with a handfull of Skittles then runs away*

Eclipse: Ugh! *pulls out a chili dog waving it infront of her* heeeey Soooooniiiic

Sonic: OOOOHHHH CHILI DOG! *dives at it*

Eclipse: *moves chili dog and Sonic goes into a cage* Awww look at you! your so cute!

Sonic: *hits cage* I am not cute!

Shadow: You know I agree with you Sonic... Your the ugliest thing I've ever seen

Amy: Guys be nice.

Eclipse: *gives Sonic hamster food and a hamster water bottle* ok now your adorable!

Amy: *laughs*

Shadow: *laughs*
