Waiting isn't good enough – Kairi's journey
Chapter 1 - A hard decision
The classes were almost over and the students of the Kingsley school were anxious about the summer holidays
In the last week of classes:
The ocean rushed slowly out there. Kairi could almost hear those voices so familiar. She thought of her happy moments with her best friends, Sora and Riku.
They were so happy together, they played, swam, built a raft to go see other worlds... Until the darkness destroyed the island and separated them. Kairi felt tremendous miss them
She looked out the window to that island where they used to play. How would she like to go there, to see the secret place ... to see that door again. Maybe then she could remember precisely what happened. She only remembers feeling a sharp pain, then, become very weak. She remembers to see Sora screaming her name and remembers that door that opened loudly behind her.
But she could not go there. Yesterday she said she would not go to the island until she remembered everything about Sora.
But how she wanted to know ...
"Done, I'm going today after school to that island!" Kairi thought.
-Kairi, want to answer? - Ask an angry voice.
Kairi jumped on the chair. She had forgotten that he was in math class. And now the teacher wants her to answer. She begins to improvise.
-Huh ... the camel!
The whole class laughed.
Outside, 18:00:
Kairi ran home quickly and took off her school uniform. She wore a pink dress and put on some comfortable shoes. Then she ran out and headed toward the beach. When she arrived there tired, took her boat and rowed to the island.
After 10 minutes, on the island:
The island remained the same. Nothing had changed! Kairi walking through the sand. The waves would wet her shoes but she did not care. She began to pick up seashells. Caught them and prying them in her pocket. She was very fond of shells. When she had a pocket full of shells, Kairi remembered that she had come here to do.
She ran to the small waterfall. Then she saw a tree next to a small hole. She went there.
Arrived at the cave and saw the drawing that Sora and she did. And right beside it was the door.
