James Sirius Potter was sitting on the Hogwarts Express for the first time. He knew everyone was staring at him. Teddy Lupin his god brother was there helping him. Only his Dad, the famous Harry Potter had come to see him off since his Mum had to stay at home with Albus [6] and Lily [4]. "I'll miss you", Harry had shouted after his son.
"Come Sit with me and Vic" Teddy called. "No thanks, I'll be sitting with Fred," James called back. He and his cousin Fred walked into the next cabin. "Thank God," Fred sighed, "I thought we were going to have to sit with stuck up Victorie for a second there." "I'm glad we didn't, I mean we all love our cousin Vic, but she's a brat sometimes," James replied.
They were in the boats when the first cause trouble at Hogwarts. "I once heard my dad say the spell to freeze all the flooding water out of the bath tub."Fred whispered to James, "Watch," and after a moment he whispered, "Glacius." James smiled as the whole lake froze over. "Potter,Weasley. When you come to shore, and you haven't even been sorted yet!" screamed Professor Morris the new head of Slytherin. "Wow, she even knows who we are," commented James.
As soon as the new group of first years walked into the great hall they were amazed that ceiling looked like the sky outside, most of them had heard about it but it's different looking at it. Soon the sorting began. "Armstrong Caroline" and then shortly after "Hufflepuff" and the Hufflepuff table cheered. It went on like that for a while. Soon "Potter James" arrived everyone got unusually quite as James walked up. "A Potter you have your families traits and you are brave ," the hat said, "so this is easy," no sooner had he said that then, "Gryffindor" and the Gryffindors cheered much louder the usual for him. Soon Fred joined him and there first meal at Hogwarts began.
