Journal Entry #798
Today in my chambers he had asked me 'How many things are we upon the brink of becoming acquainted with if cowardice or carelessness did not restrain our enquires.' We had talked for hours after that, we had talked about the precautions of what he had meant. Though I have my doubts if Victor was less than truthful towards myself. But what glory would attend the discovery of what my dear friend Frankenstein and his mind has made. The principle of life precedes him.
Thus ended a day memorable to me: It sealed Victor Frankenstein's fate.
