Journal Entry #826
Today has been the first day that I have seen Victor in weeks. His dear friend Henry has come to the premier university Ingolstadt to study as well from what I can tell. I praised Victor in his astonishing progress he has made in the science with kindness in my voice as to hide my true feelings of disappointment to Victor's weeks of disappearance. I feel as though he is disappointed in himself as well. There is an air of danger that surrounds him. I feel as though he has dabbled too far into the supernatural science and found the elixir of life is but a Chimera. The moral relations of things I tried to teach Victor is but a wisp of air that has left with the other moral obligations I have tried to teach him Vanished like the water in a desert and instead the demon called ambition has taken his place.
May Heaven and the angels take consideration on Victor Frankenstein.
