Chapter 3: Effie
Haymitch in my opinion, he's a brute. The man has no manners, and no respect for authority. He drinks far to much and it would not kill him to bathe and wash his clothes a little more. Yet, despite all that the children seem to love him. When their around, he's different. He's caring, careful, and dare I say cunning.
Those children bring something out in Haymitch that I never knew he had before that. Do I like Haymitch, not really he's not usually nice to me, though that's been true ever since I got this job. Though, I don't think he'll ever be kind to me. I do trust him more than most people no matter how bad he may behave...and smell.
