The smell of burning and smoke wafted it's way through Xander Captor's house as he wrinkled his nose. What the hell was was MAKING that scent?! He walked to where the smoke was originating, the kitchen.
He was met with utter chaos. The oven was giving off smoke, something burnt and black in it. His boyfriend, Daniel 'Danny' Ampora, glaring at the oven with an adorable pout, wearing an adorable sea blue cooking apron with white frills, and it had waves along the edges too, which just made it even more adorable.
Xander grinned, and crept over to him, wrapping his arms around his waist. "Trying to cook again?" Danny jumped and shook his head, blushing a little. "N-not cook. Bake." Xander arched an eyebrow, to which Danny scoffed. "There IS a difference you know!" Xander rolled his eyes, pulling Danny closer. "Like I care, what were you trying to make?" Danny bushed more and mumbled.
"What was that?" Another mumble, only a tiny bit louder. ''I can't hear you." "I said Angel Food Cake." Xander looked at the mess in the oven. "It looks delicious." Danny blushed and turned around, burying his face in the crook of Xander's neck. "Don't lie Xander, it looks hideous.." Xander shook his head. "Is this your first time baking?" Danny nodded. "Then it looks marvelous for a first attempt."
Danny blushed redder, to which Xander kissed the top of his head. "You'll get better Danny, I know you will." Danny hugged Xander closer, and the couple just stood there, holding each other.
"Oh, and that apron looks adorable on you.
Human stuck?! What is this madness! Well I came up the idea with my friend/morail so I wrote up a little fic for her.
