"Quit accusing me of something I never did!" Jade snaps back in reaction.
I narrow my eyes- acting as though I had a response. My stutter gave away my confidence though, and I flinch. "Rrr..." I sound nervously. "Rotten… liar!"
Jade scoffs. "Something you've gotten good at over the last few days, I see."
I pause again. She was so… quick! In my defense, she's been doing this a lot longer than I have.
I bite my lip. "Truth is something that's never constant." I explain. "You're a different story. YOU, are just plain deceptive.
"Under estimated as well." She gleams, and starts to stalk around me pride-fully.
"Vvv…" I cringe. How do I even respond…? Every time I think I'm getting ahead, she pushes me back down. I have to trip her up. There must be something I can say…
…
"Vicious fiend." I growl. I have to admit it; I suck.
"Well well well, it appears you're just now realizing who I am, aren't you?"
Who she is… that's it! The ball's in my court now, and according to the rules…
I smirk. "Xena, is that really you?" I stand up, and take her hands. "You've come to save us, haven't you?!"
Jade seems shocked, and her eyes widen. She's puzzled with rage. "Gy- Ah-"
"You're next letter is 'Y', Jade." Sikowitz announces.
NOW the tables have turned, and she's in a bind.
"…yes." She grunts. "I'm here to save you."
"Zack, Pete!" I call- two names which were brought up earlier in our game. "It's okay! The warrior princess is here to save us all!" I chime.
She grits her teeth. "Absolutly…"
"Behold our savior; a kind, brave soul! She will fight for us, even if it kills her!" I gloat to the audience.
Andre and a few of the others laugh.
"Curse you Vega…" Jade mutters.
"Don't break character." I warn, wagging a finger at her.
She takes hold of it harshly. "Enough already! I'm sick of you one-upping me all the time!" She growls.
I yank my hand back. "Feisty." I tease, knowing I was getting the best of her.
"Gloat all you want- this game isn't over yet!"
"Hope you don't slip up." I grin, walking around her as she did me earlier in the scene.
"If you think you can best me at this then I swear I will-"
"Just give it up already!" I laugh, interrupting her.
"Kill you!" She finishes.
The audience gasps.
I squint my eyes. "Let me get this straight- you're going to murder me in front of our classmates and teacher?"
"Maybe you don't understand." She growls. "I'm going to do much worse then just off you in an instant."
"Name it." I challenge.
She pauses for a moment.
"Over a long period of time, I'll submit you to torturous methods of pain until you're begging me through a bloody scream for me to stop."
Cat squeals, and covers her face.
Jade rolls her eyes, then returns her attention to me.
"Perhaps you wouldn't mind explaining these 'torture methods', if that's the case.
Maybe I'm not in the lead anymore, but as long as I don't give in to the fear she wants me to portray, I won't be losing either. I'll keep this going for a little until I can make my move.
"Quite confident I'm not going to go through with it, are you?" She questions.
"Really starting to sound like you have nothing planned." I point out.
She huffs loudly. Well, that moment came quicker then I expected.
"Something so vile and cold that just telling you would spoil the surprise." She attempts.
"Terrible liar, you are." I state, ironic to our earlier scene.
"Understand that if you want to find out so badly, you'll have to push your luck and see what happens."
My grin grows wider. "Violate me."
Jade's expression alone was almost enough to scare me. If that wasn't bad enough, she comes lunging at me with her fist curled up. I cringe, and fall backwards, but she never touched me.
"Wimp." She smirks. …there's just no way to win, is there?
