"Now, Clara, can you tell us anything about that man?" Sam asked as he led her to a chair near the beds, but she opted to sit next to him on the bed.

"Well.. He's called the Doctor from the planet Gallifrey or something. He's the best thing for earth. A defender. The police box, it's called the TARDIS. It's smaller on the outside."

"TARDIS?"

"Yeah, he explains it quickly so I never fully catch what it's called. Time And Relation Dimension Inside Space."

"Relative Dimension?" Sam said quietly. "Time And Relative Dimension Inside Space. Hmmm so its a...time machine?"

"And space ship basically."

"Any more about the Doctor?"

"Do you believe me?"

"Well, yeah, that box says it all."

"Okay well, he's bloody intelligent. He's a Time Lord, I think he said. He's the last of them and his planet was destroyed in a big time war thing. He's got two hearts too."

"Okay...We'll find him, but what's his real name?" Dean answered.

"If he has a name, no one knows it. He goes by the Doctor. Just the Doctor. He wears long coats with patches on the elbows and a bow tie. He tends to carry around a sonic screwdriver."

"Alright, we'll find him. You stay put."

"Absolutely not."

"It's not safe for you-"

"Yeah? You know what's not safe? I was on the rings of Akhaten, and the sun was a parasite god. I will not stand off to the side."

"Clara..." Dean frowned and looked at Sam and sighed. He wasn't in the mood for an argument. Sam rolled his eyes and turned to her. She stood as if she wouldn't be knocked down again.

"Okay, fine. If you come, you can't wander off, got that?" When she nodded, he continued. "Stay close and keep your eyes peeled twenty-four seven." His voice was strict and she simply smiled. "Right then, let's go." The all stood and headed outside to the Impala. Clara sat in the backseat and the Winchesters stood around at the trunk, talking quietly. "What are you thinking?"

"Well, whoever this Doctor is and if he's real or not, he may be our killer."

"Well lets-" Sam was cut off by Clara's shout.

"Doctor!" She jumped out of the car and ran up the street. Sam and Dean glanced at each other before running after her. The man she ran in the direction of looked confused and angry and she slowed as she neared him. He glared and looked fierce when he noticed who tailed Clara. His head cocked slowly and Dean narrowed his eyes. He began walking the other direction and the three followed him into a darkened alley.

"So, you managed to find Clara." The Doctor said just before turning around to face them and giving them and devilish grin. Sam pulled Clara closer, protectively, and she tried to resist but gave in. She noticed the Doctor's grin wasn't kind. "You should've left her."

Clara gasped quietly and back against Sam. "Doctor.." She whispered, betrayed.

"Wasn't going to happen. Now, who are you really?" Dean questioned and stepped forward, blocking Clara to give her a bit more protection. The Doctor was still watching her and he seemed angry.

"The Doctor."

"No you're not!" Clara shouted and tried to step forward, but Sam grabbed her arms to keep her back. "You're not him! I know the Doctor and he would never act like this!"

"Oh how little you know. I'm over a thousand years old. I've killed many and even wiped out species. Why shouldn't I kill you now?"

"Because the Doctor saved me. And I saved him."

"Well, well, well, the Doctor isn't a savior. He's got more blood on his hands than you know, little girl. I wouldn't say you saved him. Only a few seem to have managed that. And you, you haven't done anything but confuse him. Don't you wonder why he wants you with him?"

"You just admitted you weren't him." Sam commented.

"Oh, so I did... oops." The Doctor said sarcastically and his eyes shifted to all black and then in an instant, they were normal again. "Naught Clara, you should've stayed in the TARDIS. Maybe I should tell them why you fascinate the Doctor, huh?"

"What are you talking about?" Clara asked.

"I'm talking about the woman twice dead. You've died, Oswald. The Doctor's met you before. You fascinate him. He's confused about you." The Doctor grinned victoriously. "You've died and you don't even know. The TARDIS didn't like you, but apparently she's gotten over it."

"Shut up! You're lying, shut up!" Clara shouted as her eyes teared up.

"Oh, but why would I lie when the truth hurts worse." He laughed slightly.

"Leave her alone." Sam demanded. "I've died and so has Dean..we're both alive."

"Yeah, you two were simple deals. She wasn't."

"Stop it! You could've left me at home!" Clara shouted.

"Oh, I didn't bring you. Your precious Doctor did. I was hiding out in that box of his and when he said we were in Lawrence I realized it's either the Time Lord or a little girl. I picked the wisest option. I needed you out of the way."

"Go to hell!" Clara snapped, ready to charge at him but Sam once again held her back.

"Oh Clara, you should watch yourself."

"No, you should watch yourself. Leave her alone." Dean said.

"Protective, are you? Your brother, yes, that car, yes. Her? No. Not a wise thing to protect." Clara was crying slightly. This man had saved her and comforted her and now he wasn't even there. Sam held her close. "Oh, little Clara and Sam? Well, shouldn't last you long. She'll die, you know."

"Don't talk about her like that! She isn't a piece of meat!" Sam said defensively.

"What, Clara's not going to talk?" The Doctor grinned devilishly at her. "No? Tsk, tsk, tsk." Clara pushed out of Sam's arms and moved in front of Dean. The Doctor grinned. "Good girl."

"Clara.." Sam said softly, stepping forward slowly.

"I'd stay put Sam." The Doctor grinned and threw the boys against either wall and knocked Clara out once more before picking her up and dashing out of the alley. Sam got up as quick as he could and ran after them but when he got out, they were no where to be seen.

"Sammy?" Dean called out to him as he came up next to him. "Where'd they go? And where's the Impala?!"

"He took it...and her."
