I just remembered how much I enjoyed writing some of my stories and began to resume some of the writtings...so REVIEW or I'll cry.
I took the smooth creepy letter to my Alpha's house where my pack were to be meeting. I wonder if this would pop their 'everything-is-just-so-freaking-wonderful' bubble.
I decided to wolf it to Jake's house, if Nahuel wanted to 'spend time' with me. Luck for me no one was phased and I could keep my thoughts inside my head for a change. The forest was bare and peaceful as it should be, but the peace wasn't helping my hectic thoughts. I mean I just stared at the guy! It wasn't like I stared at him like 'Hey big boy I want to taste some of that hybrid ass'; it was more of a 'Hey I will fucking kill you if you even touch that kid' stare.
I got to Jacob's faster than expected even though I knew I was still late, as always. "Well, well look who finally decided to show her face,"Quil snorted. I glared at him and sat next to Embry on the couch. It looked like Billy and Rachel weren't home, but that wasn't a surprise at all. Rachel was usually doing something Paul related or trying something girly related while her father hung around my mom and Charlie.
"You're so late Leah I went over the pack schedules without you,"Jacob shook his head disapprovingly. I rolled my eyes it wasn't like the schedule got changed around too much. Most likely he was the one who didn't have to run perimeters the most so he could be with his precious Nessie.
"Hey don't worry you're going to be patrolling with Quil and me,"Embry whispered to me.
"So it's just going to be me and you huh," I deadpanned, no one was as good as Quil when it came to getting out of patrol.
"Guess so," Embry chuckled. At least I was going to be with the guy who didn't get on my nerves as much as the others.
"Leah do you have anything to say for yourself?" Jacob asked rhetorically.
"Actually I have an issue that we need to discuss," I stood standing next to my Alpha.
"Shoot,"Jacob encouraged giving me the floor. I handed him the letter with averted eyes. He gave me a confused look but took it anyway.
"Dearest Leah," He began to read the letter aloud. I watched everyone's facial expression as Jacob read. The expressions were pretty much the same: disgust and anger. Jacob finished the letter, clenching the powerless paper in his shaking fist. The room was silent until a violent outburst came out of Seth surprisingly.
"How freaking dare he come at my sister,"Seth exploded slamming his fist on the couch.
"Calm down Seth,"Jacob warned.
Seth shook his head violently. "No this is yet another guy who wants to have sex with my sister! What the heck! I've tolerated you guys, but this guy is a potentially stalker crazed monster who wants my sister. What the fuck do you mean calm down?" Seth yelled at Jacob. I never really seen Seth this worked up, let alone going up against his man crush. And most of all, the little pup used the 'F' bomb.
"I'm surprised you care so much little bro. I thought you loved vampires,"I teased him, trying to ease him out of his rage.
"I do, and he is not a vampire-technically. He is a stalker hybrid sex crazed creep, and-and...I don't have to explain myself to you. Jacob are we going to kill this guy today or tomorrow?"
"Seth once gain, calm down. We need to keep calm and figure out what our next move is going to be. We can't make any conclusions just yet therefore we can't just bust up in the Cullen's house and kill anyone just on assumptions. That's why we left Sam's pack,"Jacob looked around at us. He had a point and everyone knew it. He didn't want to be like Sam and make decisions without proper evidence.
"I think I should go and talk to Nahuel personally and get to the bottom of this-"
"No, I'm going with you. If it's me he wants he's going to get it,"I said bravely.
"Leah I don't think that is a good idea for you to tag along."
"I will come too, my sister isn't going to be anywhere near danger,"Seth spoke up.
"I'll come too,"Embry said also. "I got your back Lee,"He winked at me with a sweet smile on his handsome face. Handsome17 year old face, geez Leah.
"I won't miss Leah kicking some vampire balls for the world,"Quil grinned to ear to ear.
I looked all around me, so they finally want to be nice to me. Only when I'm in potential danger,go figure. But still, it was kind of nice to have this type of support.
Jacob gave the order to get some sleep because he wanted to confront him tomorrow afternoon. We fled out of his little house one by one, but Jacob grabbed me while I was leaving.
"What the hell Black?"I looked him up and down and snatched my arm away from his loose grip.
"Look Leah, when we go over there tomorrow I want you to be on your best behavior,"He said sternly.
"What am I? A dog? Don't answer that."
"I'm serious Leah, I don't want you getting hurt because of that mouth of yours. I don't know what I'll do if I lost you,"He said sincerely.
"Wow Jake, I didn't know you felt that way,"I was a little speechless to be honest. That was the nicest thing he said to me so far.
"I do, I want to take care of my Beta , but you have to be careful okay?"
"Yeah sure, whatever you say," and I stepped out into the cool air and once again began walking to my house.
Seth was getting on my nerves now. He was hell bent on being my protector or wwhatever he wanted to call himself.
"Seth I'm a big girl I can handle being on my own,"I rolled my eyes.
"That's what you think Leah. Trust me, you need me around. I'm the only man in the house right now,"the little shit stated smugly.
"Oh yeah I'm the only adult in the house. Now get out of my face," I bared my teeth at him.
Just when he was finally going to his room, the stupid doorbell had to ring. Now what?
I snatched the door open and was surprised to see Embry on the otherside.
"Hey,"I said confused.
"Hey um, I just came by because I thought you might want to have some company after you know,"He said shyly. Damn, the kid was cute. How could I say no to that?
"Yeah sure come in,"I stood sideways to let him in, his warm musk greeted me too.
"Embry! Good now that you're here we can patrol together for Nahuel. This is going to be so cool, we're going to play video games and-"Does this kid ever put the shut to the up? Embry stopped him mid sleepover party ideas mercifully.
"Actually I'm more here for your sister kiddo,"Embry gave him an apologetic smile. Say what? Seth and I both had the same look on our faces, but Seth's turned a little sad while mine stayed a little surprised.
"Oh well I guess I'll jjust go to my room then,"Seth said sadly as he dragged his feet upstairs like a puppy with his tail between his legs. He turned around again abrubtly. "Oh and Embry don't try anything with her..I'll be watching."Seth glared at him. I rolled my eyes Yeah like Embry would try anything with 's not stupid.
"Believe me Seth I would be dead before I got to even try anything,"Embry chuckled. Sth nodded and finally went to his room. I thought he would never leave.
"So, what do you want to do Call?"
"Whatever I'm game, I just don't want to go home knowing you'll be stuck with Seth as an gaurdian,"He smiled.
"Fair enough,"I smiled back.
