Hiya! Yeah...it's another really late chapter. I'm sorry! But so much has been happening, including my babies getting back together and ENGAGED! Sorry if you're one of the few who hasn't seen the episode and didn't know that. Oops. But yeah, I'm a very happy camper over here. How 'bout you? Anyway, (insert witty comment here), so I don't own Glee. Enjoy! :D

"Father, wait", Rachel called, her shadow dancing off the walls as she ran down the stairs. Blaine watched in shocked curiosity as Rachel removed a hairpin, kneeling in front of the lock. There was a click and the cell door swung open. Blaine cautiously stepped out, eyeing the two wearily.

"What did- How did- what?"

Lord Berry raised a hand. "First of all, I am not here to criticize you. On the contrary, by now you have heard about me." Blaine nodded once, remaining silent. The lord continued. "I am certain you have not heard about your father then?"

"What do you mean?" the prince asked as Lord Berry leaned forward.

Kurt had been slinking down the halls, keeping to the shadows. He didn t know where he was going, just didn t want to get caught. He had heard the king order Blaine to the dungeon so his subconscious had him walking past the stairwell leading there.

"WHAT!?" He nearly jumped out of his skin at the sound. He looked around to make sure he wasn t being followed.

"Son, you have to keep quiet. I do not know what will happen if someone sees that you are free."

"Oh, you will not have to worry for long. I am going out there." He started for the stairs but Rachel stopped him.

"Please, Blaine, see reason. We need to be tactical about this."

"You need to figure out how to approach your father. I have known him for a very long time and know that he will be stubborn about this." Lord Berry patted his shoulder. Blaine huffed out a breath.

"How can I approach him about this appropriately? My father, he is-"

"He is what"? They all turned quickly to see Kurt standing there, hands up in surrender.

"Oh," Blaine rushed to him. "Oh, Kurt," he latched onto him in a hug. "My love, are you alright?" He held him at arms length, eyes roving over him as if searching for any sign of injury.

"I am fine. I got away just in time. He looked him in the eye. I think I should be asking you the same thing. Dear, you look as if you have seen a ghost."

Blaine grabbed his hand. "I will be fine as soon as I talk to my father." And before anyone could stop him, he bolted up the stairs, Kurt in tow. He ran through the halls, looking in every direction. People were slowly filing out of the great hall. He slipped in amongst the crowd. He spotted his father at the altar, pacing as a couple of servants tried to assist him. He just kept waving them off. Blaine was seeing red as he let go of Kurt s hand. Kurt wouldn t leave him so Blaine held him behind his back as he marched up.

"FATHER!" Everyone looked in his direction. The king stiffened as if he hadn t believed what he had heard. He slowly turned and his notion had been true.

"What...are you-"

"When were you going to tell me? Were you going to tell me?" The king looked a little nervous but masked it with anger.

"I do not-"

"DO NOT play coy, father! You were going to let me live a lie, a life I would have hated because you had your suspicions. You knew I was different but you would not have that. You were ashamed. But the truth is you were just ashamed of yourself. You are such a goddamned hypocrite." He was close to tears now. And his father looked incredibly nervous. At that moment Lord Berry and Rachel walked up behind them and they had the attention of everyone in the room.

"Why did you not tell me?" Blaine whispered. "He is also in love with a man!" He was hysterical at this point. Everyone wore a different look of shock.

"What?" He could hear Kurt s small voice from behind him. The king was frozen in fear. Lord Berry was the first to move. He hesitantly stepped forward.

"William I think it is time. There is no use hiding it anymore. Anyway, times are changing, people's opinions are changing. And I want to be able to stand up here and say I love-"

"No! Gerald- no. This-this is all insane. You are all mad! And sinners! Enablers! Blasphemous!" He was shouting a string of words, babbling and throwing his hands in the air. He truly looked mad. Lord Berry rushed to his side.

"William? William."

"Father..." Blaine followed.

"NO!" He broke free from their grip, throwing them to the side. He looked around the room frantically. Everyone was watching his meltdown. His subjects were seeing him as he truly was.

"It is okay, Father. Did you think I would not understand? That I would not love you anymore?" Blaine laughed humorlessly. "Did you think Lord Berry would stop loving you?"

"STOP IT! Stop IT!" Before anyone could make a move, he ran out of the room. No one even tried to chase after him. Blaine looked defeated. He looked around the room. Everyone was frozen in shock, waiting for what was to come. Well, here he could take charge and show that he was ready to be king. He cleared his throat.

"E-Excuse me, everyone." They all looked at him. "I am not going to lie to you. My father is not fit to talk right now...Not fit to rule right now But not because he loves this man," he gestured to Lord Berry. "But because his views are too narrow. I would like to believe I am at least a little open-minded and can accept more people and ideas into this kingdom. Sure...I love a man. But do not think ill of me because of it. My love life will not influence my decisions, but will be kept separate, so it should not be an issue. He took a deep breath. But if you have a problem with me because of this, then tell me. I do not encourage you to keep things from me. And if it is a problem...I am sorry." There was silence for a beat. Someone pushed their way through the crowd and started clapping. When Blaine looked down he noticed it was Samuel. Blaine smiled down at him. Soon everyone else was clapping as well. He scanned the room and spotted Tina standing on a chair, clapping with, who he assumed was Michael, at her side, holding her up. A closer look showed the village blacksmith, Finn, and the school teacher, William, and even the local tavern owner, Noah: all clapping. Blaine smiled sheepishly.

"Thank you all. This means so much to me. You are all excused for the day. Sadly, there will be no wedding but you still do not have to go back to work. Enjoy your day off." Everyone expressed their gratitude and left the room. He felt Kurt grab his hand and looked up at the smiling man.

"That was beautiful. And everyone, not only accepted it, but encouraged it! Everything is going to be alright." Blaine smiled for a moment before he looked at the door his father had exited.

"Almost everything." He felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Lord Berry.

"Maybe we should go somewhere to talk." Blaine nodded in agreement. He looked around for Rachel but she was in the corner, talking animatedly with the blacksmith. He smiled and shook his head.
"She has forgotten me and moved on already", he joked. He lead Kurt and Lord Berry to the library. They had a lot to talk about.

Again, sorry this is another late one. I always hate when people don't update and then I start to think they've abandoned it. But DON'T FRET! I have not abandoned you guys! There will probably only be one more chapter (sad face) but I'll be sure to make it a good one!
