Naruto ran to the front of the village to meet Gaara since it was his turn to come over to his village. "Hey Gaara." Naruto ran up and pecked him on the cheek. "Hey" Gaara said blushing a little. Naruto grabbed Gaara's hand and started pulling him over, towards the town. "What do you want to do?" the blonde asked. "Are you hungry?" he quickly added, Gaara thought on it before shaking his head "No. Not right now." "Oh well, ok." Naruto pouted at the red heads reply.
They walked around town for a little while. After some chatter and silence joined them Gaara's tummy growled, Naruto raised an eyebrow at him "guess Im hungry Naruto". Garaa admitted with a sheepish shrug. Naruto brightened up a bit, he grabbed the others hand tugging Gaara behind him as he raced towards the Ramen shop just up ahead. If Naruto's head wasn't so full of ramen he would have seen the blush appear on Garaa's face. By the time they got to Ichiraku Ramen Garaa was breathing heavily. "If you're breathing that hard from running this small distance then you need to work out more." Naruto stated bluntly to Garaa. "Hey what if you train with me tomorrow? It'll be fun." Gaara shot a glare at the statement coming from Naruto. Training with Naruto? Garaa blushed a little at the running Naruto in his head, but held it back. "Sure. I guess." Naruto just smiled and walked up to the ramen stand to get his noodles. "Great." Naruto smiling as he ordered his ramen.
~Next day~
Naruto woke up to see Gaara already up and ready. "You ready ready to train?" Gaara just looked up from the table and nodded his head. They got to the training area and told Gaara to start running. They jogged but only after a few laps Gaara was panting heavily. "You can't already be done, Gaara." "I" he took in a big breath and continued. "I don't want to, I can go on just as I have been." Naruto walked over to Gaara and raised his own shirt up. "look at this Gaara. See these abs? Now look at yours." Naruto lifted up Gaara's shirt and pointed at his stomach. "I see no trace of abs to have ever been there." Gaara blushed and yanked his shirt from The others grip. "Shut up" Gaara grumbled and started we walking back to Naruto's house. "I'm going back see you later." "Wait Gaara come back, just a little longer." Garaa turned smirking. "I'll buy you ramen." he stated and started walking again. "We can always train another time." Naruto stated running after Gaara. Gaara smiled and continued walking waiting for Naruto to catch up.
