The Engineer grinned at the sight of the armoured aliens.
"Let him handle this. •_•" Manny said as Engi walked forward. The aliens lined up and raised their guns. Engi smiled as he pulled out a gun-like object in one hand and the other started to be wrapped in blue light. The artistans looked taken aback.
"Oh, so you know me then?" The Engineer said to the armored warriors,
"You know who you face? You know how this will end? You know what will happen?" The Engineer smiled as they started to slowly move backwards.
"Basically what I'm trying to get across is..." He snarled as he said the final bit,
"Run!" The soldiers screamed shrilly and did as he said, they ran as if daemons bit at their feet. But, as they ran Engi just stood the laughing, like he just seen the best show in his life.
"Can you believe that?" He said turning around,
"A few words and they run. They form, sloppy, now let's go kill them all? Shall we?" As he started to walk down the hall, almost leaving Manny and Johnson behind.
"Why were those things so scared of him?" Johnson asked Manny as they followed the Engineer.
"You would be too, if the being that almost destroyed your home plant confronted you. :(" Manny stated, almost as if he was tiered.
"But was all that true? The quenching thing?" Johnson asked the hovering ball.
"Yes, it was preemptive. To stop a plant full of power hungry fascists, he displayed exactly what he could do. And at the time, the star-cult was rising to power. And to see your god die before your eyes can be very demotivating..." Manny seemed to get thoughtful as the group explored the halls, Engi would sometimes peek into a room and look around for a bit and move on. Johnson thought about what Manny said, he thought about what kind of thing could possibly kill a god, or what was conserved to be a god.
"What is he?" Johnson asked Manny.
"I told you, a time lord, try and keep up now. ^_^"
"No, I mean what has he done, what has he seen? What could he possibly seen and done that makes putting out suns, be mundane?"
"He was created for war, an artificial masiah. Made to win a war so great it threatened to burn the universe. But the Doctor stopped it, he saved the day, he saved their world. But not completely, millions upon millions of time lords weren't saved. The calculations were slightly off, and Engi was thrown through time, the only other with a still working Tardis. He is the last child of a great race, and he is tainted. His very being is soaked in blood, he killed so many things. And he blames the Doctor..."
"For what?" If a holographic ball could frown, Manny was doing it.
"Everything. From the separation of Engi from his people to the very war it's self... He blames it all on him, the only person he can… Even I am starting to..."
"We are he-re!" Engi sang out. He turned around in front of a big door to face them.
"Behind this door is probably tons of armed aliens with big nasty guns. Including ones with lazers. Now we are gonna kill them all and take over the ship, and steer the fleet away. Good plan? It's a great plan!" Turning around again, he opened his palm a the blue light came out. The tool wizzed for a bit.
"Ready Set Charge!" Engi screamed as he opened the doors, which revealed a small green sun encircled by a catwalk.
"Ahhh, Exkulamud'Shlenisha! So glad you can make it!" A alien wearing robes and a habit walked forwards, arms extended.
"Are you here to repent for crippling the All-Giver?"
"Why can I under stand them?" Johnson asked Manny.
"I'm translating, now shhhh."
"No Thrum'Exkulend, you know why I'm here..." Engi replied.
"Shame, for if you were you could see the All-Giver's rebirth! Ether way, guards!" Aliens started to walk forwards, but before they could, Engi held up a remote.
"Eh eh ah! Stop right there! I knew you little pricks would try something like this! That's why there is a bomb in the middle of that star! So big, it can make a new star! And if you take one-"
"We know." The robed alien said.
"-step... Run that by me one more time?"
"We know."
"So let me get this straight, you going to use the bomb to 'rebirth' the star aren't you."
"Yes, that is the plan."
"Oh, we'll then... Plan B!" Engi shouted as he shot the priestly alien and his compatriots. They died without so much a gasp.
"Well, that wasn't so hard. Just think what you can do-" And that was when Engi hit him.
"Now here comes the hard part." Engi said almost mournfully. And that was the last thing Johnson heard before he hit the ground.
The first thing he realized was that he couldn't move.
"What's going on?"
"You just love that sentence don't you..." A voice said from somewhere underneath.
"What is going on?!" Johnson screamed.
"The ship is going to blow up, the Thrum must had have a fail safe. Now granted this didn't change my plan, but it requires me doing the work hands on. Now, this ship needs a pilot. And well my life is worth more then yours, a lot more. So now be for I go, think of a far away star, one that's going to have two suns in a moment. Have fun!" And with that Johnson heard a door slam and a chime and then silence. Johnson knew it wasn't fair, but someone had to. It if that coward wouldn't he then would have to. Has. The ship exploded, Johnson's last act was to do as the Engineer said and think of a faraway place. And for a moment, Earth had two suns.
"So, what now?" Manny asked as Engi typed on a blue keyboard. "Well, the Doctor is on his, what 4 impossible person? I think it is time I started to find mine." And with that Engi leapt up and grabbed a screen on the console. "There, a powerful telepathic signal. Going through all dimensions, and coming from a psychic of imensporpshions." "That's not a word Engi." "Yes it is and shut up! I think we should pay are psychic a visit, hmmm?" And with that he grab a switch and spoke, "To an impossible future!" And with he pulled the switch and yelled one word. One word that can transcend time and space... The Charge of the the Engineer. "CHAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGEEEE-AH!"
