"Nervous?" Sully asked as he and Michaela and Katie sat in the waiting room of the doctor's office.

"No..not really." Michaela replied as she reached for Sully's hand."A little."she smiled as she looked at Katie.

"Wonder how Katie will react?" he asked looking toward his daughter as she drawed in her coloring book.

Just then the nurse opened the door leading to the exams room." ..The doctor will see you now."

"Come on,squirt!" Sully said picking up Katie and her book.

Michaela layed on the examination table with her shirt rolled up showing her stomach. The doctor then squirted the cool jelly onto her then picked up the wand and placed it in the cool jelly pushing the gel around a little.

Michaela looked over at Sully and was standing up holding Katie who had one arm around his neck and looking at the doctor timidly.

Their attention focused on the ultrasound machine that was illuminating a soft white and gray glow.

"Ahh..Here's the head,legs and arms." said as he turned the monitor so the family could view it.

"What is that?" Katie asked looking at the monitor.

"That's the baby,sweetheart." Michaela said reaching up touching Katie's tiny hand.

"Looks like everything is in order." said."Would you like to know the sex of the baby?"he asked.

"Yes..Please." Sully said excitedly.

"You are carrying a healthy baby boy." said smiling.

Sully looked over at Michaela laying on the examination table."A boy!" he said beaming."We're having a boy!"

"Just what I wanted!"Michaela said with tears in her eyes."A little boy that looks just like his Daddy!"

"You hear that Katie!" Sully said bouncing her on his hip."You are gonna have a baby brother!"

"I'm gonna be the best big sister ever!" she said smiling up at her father.
"Ya' sure are!" Sully said laughing at his daughter.

A few months later..

"I can't believe how big I am now." Michaela moaned as she sat at her vanity table brushing her hair.

"Ya' not big." Sully replied coming up behind her as she meet his gaze in the mirror he reached for the brush. As he started brushing her hair he continued,"Ya' pregnant and that's a good thing remember?"

"I know."she said sadly."I am just so uncomfortable."

Laying the brush down on the vanity he kissed her forehead replying,"Wonder how I can convience you how beautiful you are to me."

Giggling as Sully made his way down toward her neck with his open mouth kisses she moaned as he sucked on her earlobe."Don't stop ...I need you."

"You will always have me." he said as he took her hand leading her over to the bed."Get comfortable cause I plan on showing you how gorgeous you are over and over again tonight."

"OOHH...Sully." Michaela moaned as Sully covered her body with his.

"OHH..Sully!It's beautiful!" Michaela exclaimed as she walked into the bedroom that would be her son's nursery.

"Still got some work to do on it." Sully said as he came up behind her wrapping both his hands around her waist and kissing her cheek.

"I thought we could use Katie's old crib and set it against this wall."he said as he discussed his plans for the baby's room

"That would be wonderful!You've done such a good job in here.I am so lucky to be married to you."she said happily as she turned in his arms and cupping his cheek.

"I'm the lucky one."he said as he leaned down to capture her lips in a passionate kiss.

Sully was sitting on the couch in the living room on a cold December morning with Katie beside him watching A Christmas Carol on television when Michaela came in with a strange expression on her face.

"What's wrong?" Sully asked getting off the couch and going towards her.

"It's time." she anxiously said.

Looking down at her pertruding stomache he asked,"Are you sure?"

With a dumbfounded look Michaela replied back sarcastically,"Am I sure? Am I sure? Gee,whatever could have given me that idea other than having contractions."

Katie walked over to them then and asked,"What's wrong with Mama?"

" She is just gonna have your baby brother,Kates." Sully replied as he bent down to reasure his daughter."Kates,I want you to go get your coat in your bedroom. We are taking you to Grandpa's while I take your Mama to the hospital to have the baby."

"Ok."Katie replied as she skipped off to her room.

"I need to get your overnight bag." Sully said as he turned to look at Michaela.

"I already have it packed upstairs in the closet."she said as he was walking to the staircase.

"Don't move a muscle till I come back down." Sully said excitedly as he ran up the stairs.

"I won't!" she replied laughing at her husband's her eyes closed she prayed to God to keep her and her family safe while they waited for their next addition.
