CHAPTER 3

NEW FRIENDS

Eowyn:

At breakfast servants came out and served us pancakes with bacon, being extremely hungry I ate every last crumb on my plate. when Chris finished his breakfast he brought me into the living room and we sat down.

"so . . . I have something to tell you that has to do with how you got here" Chris spoke cautiously and slowly, "so basically i-well am kinda living with the sonic characters from the video games that you have probably played" 'um, what? what is he talking about am I going crazy? is he going crazy? I mean he can't possibly be serious, right?' so after thinking about it I said,

"do you have proof?" Chris stared at me for a second longer then he would have then realizing his actions he said,

"sorry, it's just that was not the reaction I was expecting but yes I can call them . . . here!" he pulled out a walkie-talkie I looked at him then at the walkie then at him again and made a face that said: seriously? a walkie-talkie? he looked at the walkie and shrugged, then clicked the button and said

"OK guys you can come out now, over" we waited a few seconds then a few more maybe they couldn't find the walkie or maybe this was a trick I mean how could they be here? aren't they just from a video game? and if they are real they would be in a different universe for sure, but if they are here then are the walls of the different dimensions falling and crumbling and bringing other characters from video games? in what if suddenly Gordon freeman and Alex appeared next to me or Princess Luna will appear looking at us from beyond the window of the living room or maybe a claymore would just pop up behind me with her giant sword drawn ready to attack a yoma. what could even make a rip that big in the walls?

"alright we'll be there soon, over" a smooth voice says I can't exactly say who it is my guess is Espio or Shadow, Shadow . . . -Shadow! oh no Shadow, oh crap! well this is going to be awkward he was always my favorite and I ended up having a crush on him at the time when I believed they didn't exist and I knew it was just a silly little crush and that- wait I'm forgetting something the thing is that someone actually answered. does this mean they are really real? or is it still a trick? I feel so very confused. I hear footsteps nearby and a low whispered chattering speaking questions and rumors most likely about me. then a group of brightly colored animal anthros walked in the room most sat down on the couch but one stood in the door way with his arms crossed 'its no wonder who that is' i think to myself and now because of my fondness for a lot of these people- or I guess anthros? yes anthros I blush after everyone has sat down chis said,

"so everyone this is Eowyn she will be staying with us now and i guess you don't really need to introduce yourself but you can if you like I guess" Chris seemed pretty overwhelmed or something, his voice was weak and not very powerful, a lot of 'I guesses' I notice things like that its strange.

"so do you know everyone already miss Eowyn?" a cream-colored rabbit looked at me this is Cream obviously and her chao Cheese as well.

"well yes Cream you guys are all in video games that I played with Chris" cream looked a little astonished that I knew her name but then said

"can you name everyone here and a fact about them?" she said "because that would be amazing" her little eyes filled with hope I nodded and began the process of naming everyone and a fact I know.

"lets start with the more known characters shall we?" I pointed at the blue hedgehog "your Sonic, you can travel up to light speed if you use the chaos emeralds to change into your super form" Sonic mouth hung open I then pointed at a pink hedgehog "your Amy Rose, and you have a huge crush on Sonic here even though he runs away from you all the time" another astonished face "your Knuckles protector of the master emerald on angle island, and your Tails, you have an airplane called the x tornado that can transform into a giant robot! your Cream, and you call everyone mister and miss you also have a chao named Cheese! your Rouge, one of the more famous jewel thief's still trying to get your hands on the master emerald?" I ask.

"You have no idea honey" Rouge said a grin playing her face.

"Now that covers all the more known characters so its time to move on to the side characters. Your Silver, and you come from a different time and you call Sonic the Iblis Trigger. Your Blaze, and you can manipulate fire also your from a different world, you're the Chaotix team Vector, Espio, and Charmy and you are a lousy group of investigators" at this I got some chuckles from my pure bluntness I smiled and continued on "your Marine, and your Australian!"

"That's right mate!" she replied with a smile.

"and there is one more shadow." he looked up at me I know 'cause I could feel his piercing eyes on my head.

"ha! not a lot of people know about shadow your going to fail this!" silver said I raised an eyebrow at this

"you want me to say everything I know?" I threaten. Silver grins and nodded, at this I smiled I know shadow too well one might say.

"Shadow the hedgehog. Originally he was created by Eggman's great-grandfather 50 years ago but his creator was deemed dangerous so G.U.N. was sent out to kill him but in the process they killed Shadow's best friend." I dare not speak her name for who knows what chaos it could bring I continue on, "her wish was to be friends with everybody at earth and in her last acts she sent shadow down to fulfill her wish then died. since then shadow was in a cryo sleep for 50 years but then woken up by Eggman he was sent out to retrieve the chaos emeralds and eventually take over the world, but shadow saw wrongness in this and in the last moment defeated the monster on the space ark colony but ended up dieing in the process. This shadow here isn't even the real shadow he is just a robot" everyone stares at me, everyone, even Chris and Shadow I factually know this because he joined us still standing, still crossing his arms his eyes telled a tale of sorrow, anger, and a bit of fear I stare at him hoping my eyes could calm him but the more I stare the more fear I see in his crimson eyes is he afraid, of, me? but why, why would he be afraid of me? oh . . . that's it isn't it? it's because I brought up Maria. I looked in his eyes again they shone right through pure sorrow.

"oh! im so sorry shadow these memories probably have made you sad havent they? im really sorry!" everyone else nodded in agreement. he shook his head and said,

"no. I am the ultimate life form I don't need emotions or your sympathy." his voice sent chills up my spine it was really him. he even still had that same slight cockiness in him.

"but there is one thing you are wrong about although it did happen." he said "it's that I am the real shadow I survived after the space colony ark attack, somehow. All the shadow robots had been destroyed. they weren't very good copies of me anyways" to know that this is the real shadow makes me really happy. I always wanted to meet him knowing he would be a slight jerk but to know that this shadow can emit emotions to other people even if he doesn't choose to makes me feel like i have my face turn red i turn around away from Shadow.

"well I think its great to meet you ewin or something" sonic says "IT'S EOWYN!" me and Chris both yell at sonic. He sweat drops and shrinks into a little ball on the couch. Amy gets up and crosses over to mine and Chrises couch and sits next to me. She grabs my arm tight and says, "I think we are gonna be the best of friends, right cream?" she askes "yeah!" Cream agrees.
