Chapter Three: An Ood Occurrence
The Doctor walked back into the Tardis closing the door on the Ood. Sherlock got up and noticed the stiffness between his legs. He decided to sit back down, awkwardly. His phone vibrated in his pocket. He took it out; 6 missed messages. He read the most recent one:
Sherlock I am not amused by this. Answer me –MH
"Is there something wrong, Sherlock?" The Doctor asked concerned. The look on Sherlock's face was obviously disturbed.
"Nothing, my brother, he is avoiding work, again."
"Oh, brothers, always avoiding work…" he tries to make him feel better.
Sherlock reads the other messages:
Sherlock, any information on the case? -MH
Sherlock, anything new? -MH
Sherlock answer me. –MH
Where are you? -MH
What the hell are you doing Sherlock!? -MH
Sherlock I am not amused by this. Answer me -MH
"Uhk, the case! I almost forgot," He gets up and forgets about what just happened.
The Doctor watches him pace patiently and then hesitates to ask. "What case?"
"A family has gone missing in America"
"That seems easy enough, we can use the Tardis to catch them right before their flight and~" he gets cut off by Sherlock.
"It's not that easy, Doctor," he says sternly.
He motions with his hands 'whatever' and re-buttons his shirt and pants, then he tired one his bowtie. He looks in the reflective surface of the Tardis control panel and straightens his bow tie. "Good as new!" he whispers to himself with the upmost enthusiasm.
"Boring," Sherlock says as he looks around at the cool spacey stuff.
"BORING!?" The Doctor exclaims, "are you serious? How is…THAT…boring!?" his eyebrows gather together in frustration
Sherlock just rolls his eyes.
"Typical humans, always- you're the FIRST EVER to say you are bored!" he exclaims, "you were not bored earlier, you seemed to enjoy yourself."
"That was then. This is now," he says casually.
"We're on an entire different planet! What is wrong!?"
"Stop yelling at me."
"I'm not yelling."
"YES, you are."
"Fine whatever," he crosses his arms and sighs in heavy frustration.
Sherlock moves away from the spacey wacey gear examining the rest of the Tardis. This is so cool. How is this even possible? He was finally able to pause and give attention to the questions racing through his head. He turned to look at The Doctor staring at him. "Hm?"
"Are you okay?
"Yes, fine." He waves his hand at him dismissing his own thoughts.
There was another knock at the door, but this time it was firmer. Sherlock looked at the door not amused and rolled his eyes.
"Well, it seems to be another case. How 'bout you try and figure this one out 'eh?"
He hesitates, "I am working on one currently. Besides the others will wonder where I am."
The Doctor smiles, "Well that's the best part about time travel. You can be gone for ages, and still be home in time for tea." He winks at Sherlock with a come on you know you want to look.
"Fine, but just this once"
(OKAY! I am so incredibly sorry for this EXTREEEMELY LOOOOONG WAIT! And I am so sorry it is so short! I have been busy with school and I just recently had my friend pass away so I've been super ASDFGHJKL I can't think!
SO ANYWAY I hope you enjoyed this short chapter…a longer chapter is coming next most defiantly!
In about 7 years...)
