Ch. 2

It has been almost two weeks since I moved into my small home, things were going well. I cleaned and cooked and even started a small garden to grow fresh vegetables. Today I was going to plant an apple tree with enhanced growing speed giving to me by my good friend Bulma Briefs. Which in layman terms, this tree would be fully grown within one week, another one of the briefs million dollar ideas. But one thing did worry me, my food supply seemed to be getting smaller and smaller. I didn't eat much and my dad wasn't having dinner with me. I kept digging the small hole I was making for the apple seed. I slowly covered the hole back and wiped the small bead of sweat that started to roll down my forehead. It was a little hotter today than usual, a nice swim down at the lake seemed to be a good idea.

A few minutes later Chi-Chi reappeared in the front down in a two piece light-blue swim suit, ready for a day down by the lake. She walked along a small path she created from walking down to the small lake so much. She saw a small patch of beautiful flowers and decided to pick a few before her much needed swim.

*At Goku's mountain cave*

Kakarott paced slowly back and forth in his cave debating on how much food he planned to steal tonight, he knew the woman noticed the food he was taking because she seemed to start hiding it in various places around the kitchen, which aggrevated him. But he wouldn't kill her just yet…he needed her. He shook his head slightly at this thought. Just then a grizzly bear, also his must trusted friend came running up to him and of course trip over his own feet, he was also a complete moron. Being in the wilderness your entire life can be boring but alone, can be the death of you. Kakarott took to the bear after he saved him from a bear much like himself that caught him off guard. Kakarott yelled over to the bear, "Give up you buffoon, what's your hurry anyway?" The bear spoke, "It's the girl! She's down by the lake again, this could be our chance to follow through with your plan!" Kakarott reddish eyes grew big, he walked up to the bear and spoke, "You're right, you pretend to attack her and once I'm in with her she will be in my debt and can cook for us from now on." It was perfect, the woman would owe me her life and with the private army her father had guarding her day and night they seemed to be a well off family. "Good job, Baba" he rubbed the bear slightly on the head, this in turn satisfied the bear. He put one arm around the neck of the bear, "Here is how we will do it.."

*By the lake*

Chi-Chi had picked enough flowers to cover half of a football field, "Oh boy, I think I went overboard again". She laid the flowers near the tenth pile she had made over and hour ago. She took off her sandals and dived into the lake. She swam for a few minutes unaware of the eyes watching her. Kakarott and Baba watched from the trees as she swam around the lake diving and reappearing on the surface. Baba noticed Kakarott seemed to be in a daze watching her swim, he knew the look and had seen it on many humans faces, and he was in love. Kakarott noticed him staring, "What are you looking at?" Baba quickly looked away, "Ummm..nothing sir" He was terrible at lying. Kakarott gave him a suspicious look, "Just be ready when she gets out", He flew to a tree to get a better vantage point of his woman. He rubbed his hands across his face, now why would he call her "his" woman. He had to stay focused, he could not let physical attraction control him.

After a few minutes, Chi-Chi finished swimming and climbed out of the lake and started to dry herself off with her beach towel. She thought to herself, "Can't spend my whole day swimming, I need to start on dinner since I'm having a few friends over later". She heard a noise in the bushes, she looked up to see a 500 pound grizzly bear staring right at her. She was frozen in place. She knew he would kill her. She started running towards her house full speed, she could hear the bear getting closer and closer. She tripped over a rock, the death of her, so she thought….Just then a man with wild hair came flying out of one the trees. He tackled the bear to the ground and repeatedly punched him over and over. Then the bear ran away in fear as Kakarott pretended to curse him. All the while Baba is smiling as he runs away into the forest. Kakarott walks over to Chi-Chi and offers her a hand, she takes it not knowing why she's trusting this stranger. She blushes a little because he's only wearing some type of training shorts and boots with no shirt and he was in very, very, very good shape. He also had a funny looking belt around his waist, looked sort of like a tail, but of course it's not a tail. She spoke looking down, "Umm, thank you. I don't know how to repay.." but before she could finish he answered, "You can cook me dinner for the rest of my life", she looked up at him a little taken back. She knew he just saved her life but he didn't have to be a dick about it. She looked at him suspiciously, "You seemed to have this planned out" He looked at her without breaking eye contact, he had never seen such a beautiful woman. She noticed he didn't say a word but kept staring which made her uncomfortable and blush at the same time. He finally spoke, "I'll come to your home at 8 tonight" and then he took off flying….wait, flying?! She yelled to him as he left, "HOW DO YOU KNOW WHERE I LIVE? AND HOW CAN YOU FLY?!" This seemed so weird to her, almost like a dream. She rushed home and called Bulma and told her all about it. Bulma seemed a little taken back by the whole experience.

"I don't know Chi-Chi, he seems dangerous" she was worried that her friend may have met someone that would hurt her. Chi-Chi felt the need to get to know him. In her defense she spoke, "I know, but still I want to get to know him, I felt…safe with him". Bulma didn't speak for a few seconds, "Safe, Chi, you just met the guy" Chi-Chi looked over at the clock and noticed it was ten until 8, "Good grief, almost time, I got to go Bulma, I'll tell you how everything went!" They exchanged goodbyes and Chi-Chi placed the last piece of food on the table. She over cooked not knowing how much food he would consume, hell she didn't even know his name. Just then, a she heard a small knock on her door. She opened it and there he was, whatever his name was. He spoke as he walked by her, "Is the food all done?" Her expectations lowered as he was yet again, rude. He sat down at the table he started to eat without speaking another word. Saved her life or not he was not going to be rude to her in her house. She walked over to him and stood there with her arms crossed, "Well? Do I get your name?" He kept eating as he spoke, "No need for names, at 8 you have the food prepared, I eat…I leave. It's simple" Ok, that was it. She smacked the chicken leg out of his hand he was about to eat and he growled and immediately stood up faced her and she also stood her ground. Chi-Chi was no coward, no matter of the battle odds were not in her favor. He smirked a little, she wasn't afraid, he liked that about her. He turned his chair to her and sat down, "Fine, ask me anything". Now they were getting somewhere, she sat down in the chair across from him. She started her questions, and he quickly answered.

"Where are you from?"

"Planet Vegeta"

"How old are you?"

"28 in human years"

Wait…human years, so he wasn't human. She was a little afraid but kept going with her questions.

"Do you plan on killing me?" he looked at her a little confused, "Why would I do such a thing and you cook such good food. That would be like cutting my own head off." He smirked a little, "Anything else woman?" She frowned a little and corrected him, "My name is Chi-Chi…and yes, I'm done for now" She heard another knock at the door and went to answer it as he slowly started his attack on the food. She opened it to find Sgt. Lee head of her secret security dressed in civilian clothes, he as a tall, dark and handsome guy, and in very good shape with a low cropped hair cut, Bulma alerted him of Chi-Chi's dinner guest and he went into action, as he was in love with Chi-Chi which she had no knowledge of at the moment. She answered surprised, "Why hello Sgt. Lee, I didn't expect you tonight, Is there something I can help you with?" He spoke with a smile, "I hate to disturb you but your father just informed me you moved on your own and I wanted to bring you this gift", she took the small box from him and opened it. It was a small necklace with a heart shaped pendant holding a small blue diamond. She looked at it and hugged him, "You didn't have to bring me anything". She unbuckled it and attempted to put it on, he then stepped towards her, "Allow me?" She then turned around and pushed her hair out of the way as he buckled the necklace as he removed is hands he caught the strange man staring at him giving him a death glare…he gave him one back as well. Putting on his fake smile for Chi-Chi as she turned back around, "Ahh, I see you cooked dinner for a football team" She laughed , "No, just for a friend of mine. Why don't you join us?" Sgt. Lee spoke with a smile, "I would be delighted"

As they ate a very awkward dinner, well at least between Sgt. Lee and Kakarott, Chi-Chi sat their aware of the tension between the two men. After they finished up Chi-Chi walked Sgt. Lee and Kakarott to the door, "And you're sure you don't need help with the dishes" Lee was desperate to spend some alone time with Chi-Chi. And she wanted more alone time with her new acquaintance "Kakarott" which he revealed his name over dinner. "No, its fine Lee, I need more to do anyway" He looked over at Kakarott who was slowly making his way over to the door. As Lee was about to speak Kakarott kissed Chi-Chi slowly, he grabbed her by her hips and shoved his tongue down her throat. Her eyes grew as big as pool balls but then she felt herself relax in his arms and kiss him back, wrapping her hands around his neck and grabbing a handful of his hair. Their kissed resembled a couple who had been together for years. He held her tight but not tight enough to hurt her as her hands moved down his chest to feel his hard pecks as his tongue played with hers. He pushed her up against a nearby wall and she could feel him getting hard against her. Then he stopped and whispered in her ear, "See you tomorrow at 8". He kissed her one last time and left. Chi-Chi was frozen. Did that just happen? After a few seconds of bliss she looked around for Lee, but he was nowhere to be found.

Kakarott flew off completely satisfied with the night, he was full and he also tasted her. He wanted to take her right then and there but, not yet. He was going to look forward to his dinners at his Chi-Chi's. He needed to mark his territory and he thought he did very well with it.

Chi-Chi spent the rest of the night trying to convince herself it wasn't that great of a kiss. She washed a few dishes for several hours. She watched a few movies and even read a few magazines. But no matter what she did, all her thoughts were clouded by him. She couldn't stop thinking about the kiss. She decided a shower and good sleep would help ease her thoughts, so she jumped in the shower and turned off her lamp and drifted off into a dream world filled with her and Kakarott.

*At the guard base*

"Sgt. Lee, how did the dinner go?" One of the eager privates asked, Lee looked at him with anger written all over his face, "This new friend of hers…must be killed", the private looked a little taken back, "But sir, has he caused her any harm?" Lee gave him a death glare and he walked away in fear. Lee then looked at the monitor that showed a live feed of Chi-Chi's house, he would kill this Kakarott, he knew it had to be done.
