Anytime: Part 2
When Stiles hopped out of his jeep it was still dark and storming. He didn't bother knocking and just ran inside.
"Sourwolf?" he sighed as he caught his breath. He heard a grunt but he decided that it sounded more like a whimper to him. Stiles ran up to Derek's room and went inside to find the wolf curled up in the corner; he was visibly shaking and looked so vulnerable. Stiles didn't waste any time getting over to Derek's side quickly.
"Der? You okay?" Stiles sat in front of him. He knew that Derek didn't like storms that much, but, he didn't know just how bad they really freaked him out. Derek whimpered softly and looked up at him, with fear set in his usual calm bright green eyes.
Stiles' heart clinched at the sight in front of him. He wasn't surprised at all when the alpha clung to him shaking. Stiles just carded his fingers into Derek's jet black hair.
That's how this usually worked; but it was mostly the other way around.
"Shh… it's okay Der…" Stiles whispered softly into his ear.
Derek just squeezed his eyes shut. He relaxed a bit when he felt Stiles kiss his head. Stiles must have felt him relax because he smiled and continued to comfort him.
Soon, the storm stopped and the sun peeked overtop the trees of the surrounding forest. The sun shined through the windows of the hale house. Their house wasn't as burnt down, the, but it was more inviting. At least that's what Stiles thought.
Stiles had stayed with him through the whole storm.
"I'm sorry I called you at 4 in the morning."
Stiles just grinned, "Whoa, The Alpha, Derek Hale, is just apologized to me!"
Derek tried to give him a serious glare but it ended up looking more playful.
Stiles lent forward and kissed him softly and tenderly. "Der-bear, I didn't mind you . you can always call me."
"Anytime?" Derek asked.
"Anytime." Stiles confirmed.
