Author's Note: I am so sorry for the late, late, late update! Life got in the way and it's been a whirlwind/roller coaster the last couple of months, and I just haven't had the time nor the inspiration to write. But I wanted to write something for you guys for Valentine's Day as a thank you for all your favs/follows/reviews! Thank you so much! Hopefully I should have more time to write now I'm on break.
As for the actual story, the title comes from "Fly Me To The Moon" by Frank Sinatra/the Bayonetta OST. I tried something new this time, with Dean being a little oblivious and Cas using shipping evidence to try and express his love. Hope it worked. Anyways, I'm gonna shut up now, really hope you like the drabble and feel free to review/fav/follow if you like it!

It was on a long drive when Castiel decided to speak up.
Sam was fast asleep in the back after a long (though successful) hunt and Dean was oddly quiet, humming along to the tune of a Metallica song that he had memorized, seeing how it wasn't playing on the radio.
"Dean?" he finally asked, tentatively.
"That's my name, Cas, don't wear it out." came the snarky reply.
Castiel, if he ever felt an emotion close to nervousness, felt it now. His digestive organ was tight and knotted, yet felt feathery and light.
How odd.
"You and I share a profound bond." Castiel stated simply.
"Yeah, you said that before." came the seemingly indifferent reply.
"Our... relationship is profound." he tried again.
"Guess so." Dean said, before turning his head for a moment to look at the angel before turning to face the road again. "What're you up to?" he asked, a bit suspiciously.
"I raised you from the darkest pits of Hell and you preserved my trenchcoat after the Leviathan incident." Castiel continued, ignoring the hunter's question.
"Somethin' I thought you might like to have when you got your feathery ass back." Dean replied, bluntly.
"I rebelled against Heaven... for you." the angel persisted.
"They were assholes anyway." Dean said with a shrug.
"You restored your faith... for me." Castiel emphasized.
Dean paused, and the silence rang in Castiel's ears.
"...Yeah, so?" came the quiet reply. "What are you tryin' to say, Cas?" he asked, louder.
"In other words..." Castiel began, before turning his thrice damned puppy eyes to Dean. "...I love you, Dean."
The Impala rolled to a halt, and Castiel's vessel's heart almost pounded out of his chest for fear of what the hunter would do.
To his surprise, Dean turned around, his features soft.
"I... love you too, Cas." he said tenderly, and before either of them knew it, they were kissing.
They were so lost in the moment (and the many moments after) that they missed Sam's sleepy, knowing smile and chuckle as he went back to sleep.
