Mirror, Mirror

Weiss gulped slightly, only rarely dealing with a large crowd similar to the one she was performing for now. Their cheers were deafening when she walked onto the stage, once missing the clap of her boots being the only thing she heard. There was a familiar face in the crowd however, once who she owes her life to. She smiled, spotting the tuff of black and red hair, and that very unique outfit she is garbed in.

Weiss took one last deep breath, letting the piano start and the crowd swiftly fall to silence.

"Mirror, tell me something..." She spoke softly but loudly, closing her eyes and tilting her head down.

"Tell me who's the loneliest... Of all..." Memories flashed, and as is she could see herself Weiss fazed through the floor in her mind, reappearing in a long, dark, and open hallway. Opening her eyes, Weiss spotted a kneeling knight, about twenty feet tall. She quickly shivered, feeling her sword scruff up against her dress.

The knight stood, bringing its large, but cumbersome looking sword up to vertical. Weiss saw it tilt its body back, sword pulling, and realized what it has planned. The knight spun, thrusting its sword down in a fatal strike, moderately fast. Weiss quickly backflipped to the left, readjusting herself to swiftly grab her sword. She held it horizontal against her face, as if she were going for a jab.

"Mirror, tell me something..." Weiss dashed forward, ready to stab at the steel armor the knight wore, while it was vulnerable, trying to pull its sword from the concrete. Weiss was to fast, and as she hit her jab her ears were screeching in pain. The knight took advantage and grabbed its sword, swinging upward in hopes of hitting her back with its arm. Weiss outpredicted it, and used both hers and the knights momentum to swing herself up in a sideflip, landing gracefully. The steel-clad giant snapped its body towards her, once again swinging downward but this time with one arm, hoping momentum would be on its side.

"Tell me who's the loneliest, of all..." Weiss saw the move coming and this time dashed forward, going under the knights arm. Appearing behind the knight, it swiftly turned its head only to see Weiss' small grin. Snapping her arm back, Weiss did a series of jabs, each hurting her ears more than the last. She started climbing up the body with her jabs, using her momentum to push her up. When the knight started recoiling forward Weiss had to put more of a push into her jabs so they could find their marks. Only when the knight pushing back into a straight form, Weiss missed her jab, costing her. The knight saw its chance and yanked its sword out of the ground, using its momentum to swing a horizontal slash in a circle, causing Weiss to gasp.

Shit! She thought, needing to think quickly. She held her sword up, snapping her eyes shut and going stiff. The knights sword connected horizontally with hers, sending her flying backwards, tempting her to just buckle and slam against the cold floor. She resisted and smashed her feet into the ground, skidding backwards. Weiss could've sworn her soles were destroyed. As she was regaining her composure Weiss felt a mini earthquake. she was about to feel a bigger one soon. Looking up her eyes widened once again seeing the large knight in the air barreling towards her, the sword with lethal momentum.

"Fear of, what's inside me... Tell me can a heart be turned to stone..?" She rolled right, handstanding with one hand for a second before landing on her feet. Weiss was about to take a quick breath but saw that the knights sword wasn't jammed in the ground this time, and stiffened. The knight let the flat side of the sword fall to the ground and, with one arm still, swung the large WMD left, forcing Weiss to backflip again. As she landed, the knight was fast and swung the sword with lethal intent again, but Weiss blocked and ended up rolling back a few feet, where she snatched a leaving breath as she stood, albeit shakily.

I'm going to end up dead if I can't stop it. She brought her sword up in her left hand where she mirrored a two finger salute in her right, whispering a touch against the dial of the sword, her fingers aflame in white. She bent her knees, her two fingers letting loose a pulsating energy against the ground. A white circle appeared, multiple symbols erecting to the edges in mirrored movement. It glew, along with Weiss, and she felt as if adrenaline just electrified her body. She dashed with almost sound wave speed, almost leaving an after image with her speed. The knight tried to outpredict where she would be and slammed the sword, barely missing her as a few hairs floated.

Weiss heard the slam and skidded to a stop, before jumping back above the sword, slashing at the knights arm, unintentionally freeing the sword. Another circle appeared right angle of her feet, and sped downward in a diagonal motion where she flipped onto her feet, swinging around to cut at the knights left leg, once again causing her ears to bleed. As the knight spun to eye her Weiss continued to focus on the knee of the large steel tower, hoping to knock it down.

Two heavy slashed is what she finished with, staggering the knight backwards. Weiss knelt again, another white circle feeding her energy. She jumped and gave a hard vertical slice up the knights chest, further staggering it, before meeting eye level with the knight, grinning slightly before she spun into the state of a top, before propelling herself forward. Weiss readjusted herself so she would mirror being a cart-wheel, and spun on, hitting two devastating slashes on the knight arm that was holding the sword. Weiss landed about halfway above the ground on another circle, kneeling. Weiss looked up, meeting almost eye level with a glaring wall of steel. It quickly spun in a circle, swinging horizontally. Weiss jumped, sighing in relief before realizing her mistake. Her face mirrored horror, looking up as it felt time was slowing. The knights left arm, its free one, was throwing a punch, at her skull.

If that connects, it'll kill me. She thought, before Weiss felt her skull rattle violently as the steel punch connected, sending her back at the very least a yard. Her side smashed against the ground, a cry of angst leaving her mouth as she felt her sword leave her hand, landing nearby.

Ruby stared down at Weiss, wondering why she stopped so abruptly. The music from the piano had trailed to a stop after Schnee's abrupt stop.

"Weiss?" Ruby asked quietly, her voice caught in the stream of whispers.

Weiss felt a small opening, a bit of wind hitting her to make herself shiver. She struggled to stand, her arms and legs feeling as if they were broken.

Ruby was about to stand before she heard Weiss open, a stream of non-lyrical sound leaving her lips. Everyone was in awe at the beautiful keys Weiss projected. One person was even swaying side to side, eyes closed with a face of pure bliss. Ruby was a little freaked, but had to admit the voice was, no pun intended, music to her ears.

As she stood, the left side of Weiss' face felt warm, and her vision felt blurred by red. She was struggling to stand, much less think.

My head won't stop throbbing! GAHHHHH! Weiss screamed in her mind, almost ready to topple. She stumbled backwards, swishing her arms around to find something to grab on for stability. Her hand passed something cold, and she gripped it. The cold object reacted, sending what Weiss felt was pure heaven. Her vision cleared, albeit the red was still misty. Weiss regained her balance, bringing the object into her field of view. Her sword was vibrant, and looking down Weiss saw varied drops of blood in a staggering line until reaching her location, and the girl identified it as blood.

So that's what the red is. Weiss thought, glaring at the knight that was taunting her.

Myrtenaster, give me strength! She called, bringing her sword with the bladed tip pointing towards the giant, she pressed her thumb against something on the handle of her sword and as a result the dial started spinning before landing on red, the blade from back to tip filling with a vibrant red, glowing violently. The knight, hoping to finish her off, ran towards her. As soon as it was in lethal range, it swung vertically, hoping to slice Weiss in half. Weiss swung her blade up, deflecting the sword and causing a little shield to appear around her, smashing the blade upwards. Weiss spun two times before smashing the blade of her sword, now glowing a light blue, into the ground.

"Mirror, mirror what's behind you, save me from the things I see!" Ice shot from the ground where the sword was planted, erupting violently outwards and in a straight line towards the giant. It was too slow as massive ice spikes erupted on and around its feet, encasing it and keeping it frozen in place. The knight looked around, seemingly in shock but quickly evaporated it, swinging at the ice hoping to break it. Weiss saw her chance and yanked Myrtenaster out of the ground, running forwards. She jumped onto the sword as it swung by, riding on it for a short time. She slammed her thumb onto the hammer of her sword again, this time sparking the blade to green.

"I can keep it from the world why won't you let me hide from me!?" She jumped off the sword and slashed at the knight, causing a green line to flash through the knight's eyes vertically. Weiss landed after the attack, the knights sword implanting itself into the ground behind her. The knight looked towards her, nd saw a light blue circle appear under her that was was similar to the white circle that gave her an adrenaline boost earlier.

"Mirror, mirror, tell me something..." The knight, freed because of attack that separated the sword from it, ran towards her. Weiss dodged an incoming punch, grinning madly at how slow the lumbering tower of steel was getting. She held out two fingers, a smaller version of the blue circle now projected out of her hands. The knight looked down, seeing a rainbow of colors appear from the bottom of its eyes. It looked down, that same circle now radiating with colors. Weiss flicked her two fingers up, launching the knight up into the air.

Weiss made some hand gestures, the tip of her sword sparkling with blue. She swung her body, her sword creating a blue circle that, after a complete turn, created six stars that were similar in design to the inside of the circles she had created previously. With the knight still in the air, Weiss swung her sword outward, the stars following through. They connected with each limb, two in the wrists, ankles, and one around the neck and hip. The stars expanded into the mature circles and froze the knight in place. Weiss knelt, the dial on Myrtenaster spinning for hopefully the final time. She leapt, her sword behind.

"Who's the loneliest of all...?" She took a breath. Everyone was still in awe at Weiss' beautiful voice, even Ruby by this point was mesmerized.

Myrtenaster hit white, but instead of the blade glowing white, radiant white markings appeared around the blade, each giving off a wave of power, brutality, and destruction. Weiss used all of her strength, propelling herself downward with hopes of ending it. She plunged herself, sword first, through the knight, shattering the locks placed. Weiss landed on her knee, the knight falling into dust behind her.

"I'm the loneliest of all..." Weiss breathed, her voice soft. The piano drifted off. And within moments the crowd erupted into cheers. Weiss opened her eyes and looked around, confused.

What...? Weiss thought, before shaking her head. Ruby looked down at her, worried. She quickly stood and ran through the crowd who were giving off a standing ovation. She barely saw Weiss curtsie before the curtains closed, closing off sight to her. After the curtains closed Weiss collapsed to her knees, breathing heavily and coughing a small bit.

"Lady Schnee are you alright?" Josephine asked, bringing a towel. Weiss snatched it, wiping the sweat off her face before standing.

She turned towards Josephine and nodded, "Yes. And again, call me Weiss." She said with a small smile, before moving away from the stage with quick footsteps.

Josephine followed her, a small frown on her face, "You know I don't believe you. Your body gesture wasn't what it normally was, and with that you looked like you wanted to buckle. Did you remember that fight?" Josephine asked quietly, letting Weiss traverse the forbidden. However, before she could answer, a loud voice interrupted, one that was dreaded between the two.

"Weiss! I need to speak with you!" The voice bellowed, storming into the room. He had grey white hair slicked back, and a mustache similar to Mario's. He was tall and strong, his muscles accentuating his authority. He wore a brown suit, with matching dress pants. His eyes bore a similar essence to Weiss', but darker and more terrifying.

The two girls stood at attention.

"Father./Mr. Schnee." Weiss and Josephine spoke respectively, both stiff as a board.

The father of Weiss nodded firmly, "Hello to you both. Josephine, I need to speak with my daughter personally. Could you please leave the room?" Josephine nodded and left quickly, but not before giving a smile of good luck to Weiss. After the door closed Mr. Schnee turned towards his daughter, who he could see was trembling.

He jammed a finger in her direction, "You've been slacking in your studies as of late miss. I will have none of this bullshit I've seen going on within the past few days." His voice was rough and demanding, silencing all possible comeback from Weiss.

"My last straw was when you risked your life to save some girl you barely even know." Weiss snapped her eyes open and smashed her father's hand away from her, snarling.

"That girl saved my life from a beowolf attack father! If I remember correctly, didn't you tell me to repay back someone who helped you?" Weiss almost screamed, getting up in her fathers face. The man snarled and backhanded her, sending the girl to the floor with a yelp.

"You will no interrupt me again young lady! Now, I want that girl off of the property before tomorrow is out or I will remove her myself! UNDERSTAND!?" Mr. Schnee declared.

Weiss stood sharply, ready to low blow her father, "Mom would be disgusted with you..." She trailed, bringing her father to his boiling point. He marched up to her and backhanded her so hard she smashed her chest against a beam. She fell, groaning while clutching her throbbing chest.

"If you speak of her one more time I will beat you senseless. Now, If that girl isn't gone tonight, I will remove her myself and triple your study time. No more words you damn brat." He spoke quietly before slamming the door behind him. Weiss trembled, and the tears let go. Tears littered the floor around her, and soon she could barely breathe. She heard footsteps.

Turning around, Weiss' vision was blurred to the point she couldn't see the person.

She cleared her vision, "Ruby...?" Weiss asked in horror and realization.

Kira: Wow, just wow. Been a while huh? Yeah, I thought I'd update this because it was just the trailer. Anyway, I'm hoping to work some more but with how close school is to being over means I have to study more because the final exams are etching closer. Anyway, see ya hopefully soon :)
