Sweat was making its way down his forehead, battling the goddess of wisdom and battle strategies just wasn't easy. Right now all Percy could really do was block every attack his step-sister made, he was just about to attack her when a familiar purple flash appeared
"Oh I'm interrupting a battle lesson aren't I!? Oh well, onward!" Hermes said before snapping his fingers and making a chair and a bag of popcorn appear out of thin air.
"Thanks a lot for the help," Percy muttered before striking Athena's armor, causing it to loosen. Athena quickly brings out her shield, Aegis, getting ready to launch another attack on her younger brother. Percy quickly noticed this and used the butt of his sword to knock out the shield out of her hand, his other hand, holding a previously concealed knife, automatically making its way to Athena's neck. "Yield sister," he said as the hidden blade was unleashed from his sleeve.
"Never!" she nearly screamed, before using her leg to knock him off his balance making him fall to the ground, painfully.
"Do you yield?" Athena asked, spear against Percy's neck.
"Yes," Percy wheezed before closing his eyes in exhaustion.
"Bravo Perce, 7 minutes a new record for anyone against Athena!" Hermes congratulated, before Athena hushed him,
"Keep quiet you imbecile, the boy is tired and Hera is going to have my head when she sees Percy like this."
Athena pulled her 10-year-old brother into her arms and flashed out, to appear in front of Percy's room. When she got there, she carefully placed her brother on his bed.
"Why does my son look like this," an all to familiar voice asked.
"Sorry Hera, Percy insisted that he doesn't need a break anymore now that he is older, " Athena lied swiftly.
"Athena, I'm the goddess of families and mothers, I know my son and he adores his break time, and I know a lie when I'm told one. It doesn't quite help that he has to face the wrath of his mother if he doesn't get at least 20 minutes of break time during such lessons." Hera told Athena this sternly and with a note of disappointment, as if she was scolding a young girl.
"Yes. he does love his breaks doesn't he?" Athena said as she remembered the prank he played on her pet owl during one, poor thing couldn't fly for weeks and its claws were flattened. Let's give you a hint as to what happened; sandpaper, PVA glue and Hermes were involved.
"Percy Jackson I know your pretending, get up this instant young man! Your all sweaty and you smell, go take a bath NOW! Your brother's holding a party tonight and I'm not taking you looking and smelling like a beast." Hera all but yelled at Percy, interrupting Athena's thoughts.
"Mommy do I have to, you know I hate Dionysus's parties, there always full of people who pinch my cheeks." Percy whined before unleashing his most awesomest weapon, (the first person to guess what it was gets the next chapter dedicated to them.)
"Look Hera, what if I take Percy to Artemis, he hasn't seen his friends in the hunt for a while and besides, his training with Hades is in a day or 2.
It will be a way to show my regret for my mistake," Athena said, for the secret weapon makes everyone in the world give in to what he wants with the exception being Artemis and Hestia, both would smack him upside the head when they saw it.
"Alright, but you better come back to me with absolutely no injuries. Alright then, and say hi to Artemis, Sophie, and Zoe okay, and don't forget your breaks in the underworld too." Hera said concerned for her baby.
"I will Mom! Thank you!" Percy said as he rushed to get ready, "It's a sleepover!"
