Hey guys! I'm back! On the right day! Imagine that! And my USB started working again so I don't have to use my little brother's hard drive. Yay!

Many thanks to gabrielacelina and Karebear16 for following and Spice966 and BananaManiaBubblegum for following and favoriting. You guys are all great!

The next thanks goes out to all my lovely reviewers, you guys are amazing!

PCheshire; yes drama, angst, fluffy fluff and more this chapter and onwards! I'm so glad you liked the last one so much. I'm not sure if I will actually write the guys who beat up Toris getting hurt but it will certainly be mentioned that they get what's coming to them, kolkolkolkolkol… Anyway…Spamano…is coming. You guys probably know by now that I love to make them wait a bit first but there is plenty of RoBul!

EnterTheDarkSide, glad you like it! :)

DeathbladeMeister, yes! I LOVE THESE SHIPS TOO! WHOO!

AnimeLover in Heaven; I love PruCan, PruHun and HunBel all equally, I just write what feels right for the fic. If I think bringing in Canada for some reason is a good idea then I will do so and he'll be in the running for awesome Prussia's heart but I won't bring in a character unnecessarily just to ship them with another character.

Suggestions, anyone?

Karebear16, I'm happy you think this story is fun to read. Yeah, I considered having Bella flip but I just have a really hard time picturing it. And yes, Roderich knows everything. And everyone.

HE KNOWS WHERE WE LIVE, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!

Anyway, I own nothing. Enjoy.

Chapter 10: The Prince

Nickolas Raev moved his arm slightly. Wihelmina had fallen asleep on it a few hours into their trip but he found he didn't mind so much. Or he wouldn't if it weren't for the ball of nerves twisting in his usually calm stomach.

What was I thinking? Bringing her here. He sighed slightly and moved a strand of blonde hair away from her sleeping face, her long canine tooth poked out from under her upper lip as usual and it was adorable, though Nickolas would rather be dead than say so.

Well, he hadn't been lying when he said he appreciated the company, Nickolas was a loner by nature but when Wihelmina wasn't being overly cheerful and bouncy (which admittedly wasn't that often), she was pleasant to be around which was more than he could say for most people he knew.

Plus Roderich thought highly of her and anyone Roderich was fond of or respected deserved respect in Nickolas's eyes.

But there was something about her. Nickolas didn't know what it was but there was something different about her, something special.

He'd said it before and he'd say it again; she wasn't like most girls he knew.

Even when she wasn't being obnoxiously cheerful and overenthusiastic she was always happy with a ready, bright smile that had charmed even reserved assholes like Roderich and himself.

She was sweet, caring and smart, not overly smart, but much more intelligent than most and had a deep goodness that drew people to her like a moth to a flame.

She was a little naive, sometimes sarcastic and far too loud and opinionated but Nickolas was beginning to find that he liked those qualities about her.

There was just one thing he didn't like about her, the huge secret that he could tell was a giant wall between them, between Wilhelmina and the rest of the world. He didn't know what the secret was, she hadn't even hinted at its existence. But he knew it was there, keeping her apart from the rest of the world.

Except, apparently, for Roderich. Wilhelmina and Nickolas's best friend were so close that Nickolas had absolutely no doubt Roderich knew whatever the secret was. The two of them were much closer than Nickolas and Roderich and Roderich knew his secret. The closeness between the two of them made Nickolas jealous sometimes, jealous that Mina was so much closer to his best friend than he was and jealous that Roderich was so much closer to the girl he liked than he was.

Still, he was only a little jealous, he knew it could be a lot worse but he knew for a fact that Roderich was 100% gay while Wilhelmina was, to the best of Nickolas's knowledge, straight.

Maybe she wasn't? Maybe that was her big secret? But as soon as he had the thought, Nickolas dismissed it; she knew Roderich was gay and Nickolas was bi. Those two guys she hung out with at that hair and beauty place, Feliks and Toris, he remembered, were gay too and so was Antonio while Francis was bi (Nickolas wasn't really sure about Gilbert) so, aside from Gilbert, Elizabeta (who, again, Nickolas wasn't really sure about) and Lovino (or so Nickolas thought) all of Mina's close circle of friends were gay or bi. If she were a lesbian herself Nickolas was sure Mina would have at least mentioned it in passing; it wasn't like any of them were going to hate her for it.

Normally Nickolas wouldn't be making such a big deal over one girl having a secret, everyone had secrets; some people liked embarrassing things like kids shows or hard-core porn, some had jobs that were wacky, some were gay or bi, and some like him...

Nickolas broke that train of thought and cringed guiltily, yeah, her secret couldn't be any worse than his so normally he wouldn't be wondering about it so much. He would just trust that he would find out when she was ready to tell him and if she didn't, then it wasn't important enough for him to know.

But this was a different kind of secret, this was the kind of secret like his, the kind that kept you separate from your friends and those around you, even when you didn't want to be, the kind of secret that you wanted to tell, but couldn't. Partly because you were afraid of how those around you would react and partly because you just couldn't.

This was the kind of secret that meant you-

Nickolas cut off his thought again and shuddered, okay, he was sure Mina's secret wasn't that drastic but he could tell it was serious.

And Heaven help him, he wanted to know. Usually Nickolas was a big believer in minding his own business, largely due to the fact that there were few people who he cared about enough to get involved in their business. But he cared about Mina; somehow she had wormed her way into the cold, dead little organ he liked to call a heart, he cared about her and wanted to get closer to her. Even though he knew it would be better for both of them if he ran in the other direction like he always did.

But Nickolas was sick of running.

After the plane had touched down in Sophia, the capital city of Bulgaria, Nickolas carried a still-sleeping Wilhelmina in his arms to a nearby bench and set her down on one of the seats gently before going to get their luggage. He expected a girl like Mina to be as soft as she looked, she wasn't, she was all hard lines and slender muscle and was heavier than she looked, but she was still lightweight and easy to carry.

While he collected their bags Nickolas made sure to keep the bench Mina was on in his line of sight at all times, she didn't need some creep carrying her off while she slept. Well, unless that creep was him. But Nickolas wasn't a creep, just because he had spent six straight hours staring at her on the plane while she slept didn't make him creepy. Right?

Of course it doesn't, thought Nickolas, grabbing Wilhelmina's bag, but he didn't believe himself.

After he had loaded their things into a taxi Nickolas went back to the bench for a non-carried-off-by-creeps Mina. She stirred briefly as he gently lifted her in his arms.

"It's just me, we've touched down in Sophia, go back to sleep," he told her tonelessly as her red eyes fluttered open.

Dimitri was just about to do precisely that, comforted by Nickolas's presence and the warmth of his body and slender, yet strong arms when what exactly was happening caught up with him.

Nickolas was carrying him in his arms.

Dimitri had two separate freak-outs at exactly the same time, the first was because the guy he kinda liked carrying him bridal style like he was some sort of Princess (and wasn't that expression a lovely example of irony?).

The second freak-out was because Nickolas was carrying him in his arms.

If there was ever a moment Dimitri feared being found out more than ever, this was it.

He squeaked slightly and squirmed until Nickolas was forced to put him down. Immediately the Bulgarian shoved his hands into his the pockets of his hooded, green zip-up coat.

"You didn't have to do that. I would've carried you, you know. It was no trouble," he said grudgingly, looking at the tiles as they passed under his sneakers.

The heels of Dimitri's red boots clicked as he hurried to keep up with Nickolas's slightly longer stride, "you didn't have to do that. I can walk you know. It's no trouble." He copied and Nickolas rolled his eyes. Dimitri breathed a mental sigh of relief; he was out of the danger zone.

Unfortunately for Dimitri he fell asleep in the taxi (he had been so excited about going to Bulgaria with Nickolas that he had neglected a lot of sleep over the past week), and Nickolas was forced to either wake 'her' up or carry 'her' into the one-bedroom house.

Since Nickolas was secretly a huge marshmallow he was so soft he ended up carrying first their luggage and then Dimitri into the house he owned.

He set Dimitri down on the Queen-sized bed, freshly made because he still paid someone to come in and clean the place every week, and was about to leave when slender fingers caught his sleeve.

"Where are we?" Mina asked, her voice slurred with sleep.

"We're in my house in Sophia, it's late, go back to sleep." He said, hoping that this time she actually would. "If you wake up before I do in the morning," –unlikely but it did happen- "then help yourself to anything you want, the pantry's been stacked recently. If you don't know where something is or you need something, wake me up, I'll be on the couch."

The couch? Dimitri raised a blond brow, why would Nickolas sleep on the couch?

"Why the couch?" He asked sleepily, God he hated jet lag, and planes, and time zones.

Nickolas shrugged one shoulder, "I only bought this house for me, there's only one bed."

Dimitri caught his meaning immediately. His eyes widened and he struggled to sit up, "then I'll sleep on the couch! This is your house; you should sleep in your own bed!"

This is Nickolas's bed, Dimitri blushed slightly.

Nickolas caught his shoulder and pushed him back down, "don't be stupid, you're my guest," he turned to leave but Dimitri caught his sleeve.

"Then stay," the blond whispered, had he been in his right state of mind he never would've said that, what better way to get found out? And even if he didn't, what better way to embarrass the heck out of both of them? But he was really tired and the only thing he hated more than sleeping in his own house alone was sleeping in someone else's room alone. Not to mention this conveniently solved their problem with sleeping arrangements.

Oh Hell no, Nickolas opened his mouth to argue but realized 'Mina' was already falling back asleep. With his sleeve still clutched tightly in her thin hand.

So he could both wake her up to get his sleeve free and argue with her some more, or he could shut up and sleep beside her. Nickolas knew what he was going to do before he even finished the thought.

Sighing he slid under the blankets beside her, but they were only sleeping beside each other so it was fine, right?

Sometimes he was too much of a push-over, Heaven help him if she ever figured that out.

It was with that last, comforting thought that Nickolas Raev finally fell asleep.

Despite Nickolas's expectations it actually was Dimitri who woke first the next day.

When he first woke he had no idea where he was, only that he was amazingly warm and comfortable. Then he had his third freak-out in the last twelve hours when he realized he was in Nickolas's bed with Nickolas and had his head resting on the Bulgarian's chest with both of Nickolas's arms around him.

Despite his 'oh-my-God-I'm-gonna-get-found-out!' freak-out Dimitri couldn't help but smirk, so, it turned out Nickolas liked to cuddle in his sleep? Who would've guessed? He certainly wouldn't have.

His smirk widened, this was so going to be used as blackmail.

After carefully extracting himself from the still-sleeping Nickolas, Dimitri got up and showered before he dressed himself in new clothes. Then he explored the house for a little bit and made omelettes for the two of them.

He finished the omelettes just as Nickolas woke and the two of them ate together in companionable silence. Last night wasn't brought up.

After they'd finished and done the dishes Nickolas grabbed his man-purse, "I hope you bought a book because we have to catch a train to my parents house, it's pretty far." He said.

Dimitri nodded and followed him down to the train station.

"Hey Nickolas?" The Romanian said when they were on the train together, "how come your family lives in Sophia and you have a house here, I thought you said you came from Plovdiv?"

Dimitri could've sworn he saw Nickolas twitch but maybe it was just his imagination, "I'm originally from Sophia but I lived in Plovdiv for a while before I moved to America, I consider Plovdiv my home." He explained.

"Oh, okay," Dimitri leaned back in his seat, satisfied with that answer, Sophia was actually home to the Bulgarian royal family the same way Bucharest was home to Dimitri's family but Dimitri wasn't worried about being recognized, he didn't know any of the Bulgarian royal family, he didn't even know how many of them there were.

After they got of the train they walked down a few streets in a noticeably good neighbourhood until Nickolas stopped buy a huge house surrounded by miles of lawn in each direction.

"This is my house," Nickolas said in a voice that indicated he wasn't exactly happy to be back, "was my house."

Dimitri gaped, this place was as big as his house and he was the Prince of Romania for Christ's sake!

There was a high fence surrounding the house and a huge gate with a man standing in front of it. The man spotted them and his eyes widened before his face broke into a smile and he began to walk towards them.

Nickolas saw him coming, his brown eyes widened and he turned back to Dimitri urgently, "listen Mina, I have to tell you something. I like you, I really like you but I've been keeping a big secret from you. There's something about me you need to know-"

The man's hand fell on Nickolas's shoulder, "what a surprise! You have returned to us Prince Nickolas!"

Come on, why did you guys think this story was called Prince and Prince(ss)? Nickolas is the Prince and Dimitri is the Prince(ss).

I have another RoBul idea floating around in my head; it's where Dimitri is the son of Vlad the Impaler and Nickolas is Dimitri's lover but Dimitri is bitten and turned into a vampire and Nickolas is killed and his soul is cursed to keep reincarnating and being killed at a young age (about 15-25) so the immortal Dimitri has to track down his soul mate again and again to try and protect him but always ends up failing and Nickolas never remembers him when he is reincarnated. That's the rough idea, what do you guys think? Should I write it when I finish this one?

I have to finish this one?! *Cries*

Anyway, hope you enjoyed. I updated on time! Only just but I still have, like, 8 minutes before it's Monday.

Leave me a review and tell me what you think guys!

See you next time!

Bye!
