Chapter 2: An Akward Family Reunion
"Crash!"
Riochi's eyes shot open and he jumped out of bed. He searched the dark home with a lantern in his hand and a butcher knife in the other. Suddenly, the noise echoed the halls again, but was followed by a man's scream.
"Ahhhh!"
Riochi followed the scream to the front door and opened them in a hurry.A grey wolf with blue boned hair and a caramel kimono crashed inside.
"Help "hic" me," The wolf drunkenly pleaded as he gripped on Riochi's komono, "There's a "hic" crazy woman"hic" chasing after me!"
"Don't you mean crazy genius," A familiar female voice said from the shadows.
A grey, female racoon stepped out of the shadows with her hands full with briefcases. Her sapphire blue eyes darted at them and her messy braided hair with medium sized bangs bounced as a smirk grew across her face. She wore a red kimono with a with tank top under and her one of her sleeves up, revealing a Norisu Nine like birthmark.
"Oh hey K.C," Riochi greeted the female with a smile as the drunk wolf scattered away.
"Think twice before you decide to touch a woman's undergarments, you jerk," K.C yelled, "So anything new?"
"Not much," Riochi answered as she entered his home, "You?"
"Nope, still cooler than you as always," K.C answered with a smile as she set her stuff on the ground.
"I know this is a bit rood, but is there by any chance you could help me in the restaurant?" Riochi asked.
"I'm not sure if I've got the time," K.C muttered as she faced him, "But a friend of mine from Shogamar came with me to visit you and is looking for a job. I think she'll accept the offer."
"Oh really, where is she," Riochi asked.
"Well, to my knowledge, I think she was going to buy something in the gift shop," K.C answered as she tried to recall a memory, "So where am I sleeping?"
"Oh, in the guest's bedroom, right down the hall," Riochi said as he pointed to his left.
"I'm gonna hit the hay," K.C said as she grabbed her belongings and went to the bedroom, "Night."
"Good night," Riochi said as he went up the stairs to his room.

Meanwhile in the guest's room, K.C unzipped one of the bags and revealed a journal with a painted Norisu Nine symbol and began to write.
Journal entry 1
I am relieved my cousin is safe asfter the Tengu attacked. No doubt that the foolish ninja was him. But, Misaki was right. Someone or something has the stank and is using it as a weapon. I feel impatient just to find out who has it, but I wouldn't want my family reunion to be pushed aside for my work to be done. Oh what must I do and how?

That morning the restaurant doors opened and the sound of happy customers echoed the restaurant as they entered. But, no one knew the pair of trouble makers watching from above in the rooftops.
"Are you sure this is the proper place to experiment our weapon,"Miu asked with a tone of doubt as Hotaru got her sweaty, eager palms on the container's lid.
"Oh course," Hotaru answered as she turned the lid clock-wards, "There are more than plenty of fools here, so at least one has to leave depressed."
A stream of stank flowed out of the tin like a waterfall and disappeared into the restaurant.

K.C went to the kitchen in her kimono and tank top from last night and searched for Riochi, only to find him staring into space.
"Hey what's bothering you, Riochi," K.C asked as she looked in the same direction he was staring, "Oh, I see."
A pretty red raccoon with a violet kimono and long black hair with a pink rose sitting beside her ear. A shy smirk stained her face under her chestnut hazel eyes and nose. Riochi assumed she was a tourist, judging by the large lounges in her hands. His eyes gazed on her presence, his checks were stained with a redish glow, and his heart strings were plucked like a guitar playing a melody solo.
"Hello," the raccoon greeted, "I've been looking for a friend named K.C. Have you seen her?"
"Oh, Riochi, this An-chan or just An," K.C greeted as she took the raccoon's bags, "This is the friend I told you that needed a job."
"Well, pleasure to meet you An," Riochi greeted shyly, "Your apron is in the kitchen, to the left."
"Ok, but aren't you going to have to see my information or have a talk with me," An asked.
"No, I think you're gonna do great," Riochi answered as An made a shy smile and went to retrieve her apron.
"You got lucky An-chan," K.C murmured with a smirk, "You got Riochi on his soft side.

As the day went on, Riochi was proven right. An really did well and fit in perfectly. All seemed well until..
"CRASH!"
Amaya busted open the doors and left the customers in silence. Town guards stood behind her and Riochi felt sweat ran down his forehead. She pointed to Emi with her children and husband having tea and Sushi.
"Take her away, guards," Amaya yelled as the guards smashed their way to Emi and dragged her away from her family.
Her children cried in plead as the rest of the guards held them down. Ryo snarled in anger and grabbed his sword.
"Get your hands off my wife!" Ryo screamed as he charged only to get thrown to the ground and be pumled by fists.
The children cried louder and Emi struggled to escape from the guards grasp to go to Ryo's side, but failed. The customers were frightened and stood still with wide eyes and frightened whispers. K.C, An, and Riochi watched the massacre in horror.
"What's the meaning of this!" Riochi yelled as he pounded the counter.
"Emi Yukasaki, you are charged with harming wild life and wandering past curfue," Amaya said as Emi stared at her with widened eyes. "As punishment, you will be serving life in prison!"
"No! This can't be," Emi yelled with tears flowing down her check, "I've never done such thing!"
"Don't fight it Emi," Amaya snarled, "we all know about your hatred for filthy wildlife and your disagreement about the rules of Feuldal. Not to mention, your family's record of crimes. So, you are the most likely to perform this task. Now, off to the Feuldal prison shall we?"
Right before they began to drag her away, Stank entered Ryo and he began to turn into a large rat-like monster with long, sharp claws and yellow, pupil-less eyes.
"I sAiD, HANDS OFF MY WIFE!" Ryo shouted as he threw the guards away from him and crash on the food filled tables.
Customers screamed as they tossed their money on the table and ran out in a panic.
"Guards, take the children and Emi outside and wait for me, the rest stay here and help me slay this monster!" Amaya ordered as they went to fulfil their duties.

A smirk grew on Hatoru's face as the crowd left in a panic and utter chaos began to brew.
"Looks like the show is about to start," Hatoru said as one of her eyes began to glow.
Miu stood silent and worried about her friend as they watched their plan take place.

Riochi grabbed his katana and sprang to action. As soon as he knew it, the pink stripped ninja came out of no where and made Amaya give a surprised look.
"Don't arrest me now, I came to help," the ninja said as faced her, "Look, I'll help your guards outside with the people and possibly turn myself in if you let go of Emi and her children. So do we have a deal."
Amaya stared at a corner and thought for a sec then sighed and answered, "Alright just go do it."
The ninja smiled and left to perform her end of the deal. Meanwhile, Riochi was in dodging Ryo's claws with his sword.
"Ryo, snap out of it," Riochi yelled at his friend. "This isn't you!"
"No time to pep talk him Cooper," Amaya yelled, "Guards, charge!"
A swarm of guards charged at Ryo with a battle cry. Ryo made a snarl and whipped his tail which crushed the guards instantly.
"Come on, get up! Don't let this monster defeat you!" Amaya yelled and sighed as none of the guards tried to get up, "If you want a job done, you have to do it yourself."
Amaya grabbed her sword and charged with a battle cry. With a high jump she slashed her sword around and sliced his whiskers. Ryo snarled and smacked her and Amaya flew and hither head on the wall badly leaving a blood trail on the wall as she fell. Riochi stared at Ryo with widened eyes as he came closer. Suddenly, K.C leaped above him and a flash or red replaced her for a second as red and black sashes wrapped around her body. Riohci's eyes stared into the new K.C that stood before him. She was in a black suit ,like the pink ninja's, with two red stripes on her sides. A red Cooper logo with a Norisu mark on top laid on her chest with her red scarf and sash.
She grabbed two katanas with a red cane end from her back and charged. She leaped again as Ryo began his slashing move. A loud clank eoched the room and she sliced the monsters claws. Ryo screamed in pain and snarled again as he grabbed his ,now tiny, sword to replace his claws. It glowed green and grabbed K.C's attention instantly. She threw one of her blades and sliced the sword in half before returning to its master like a boomerang. Ryo screamed in refusal as he turned back to normal, laying on the ground unconcous with wounded finger tips and shredded clothes.
K.C placed her swords back in place and removed the mask, letting the sashes unwrap and return to the mask. K.C's eyes meet Riochi's widened ones and let one a shy smile.
"Well," K.C stated as she scratched the back of her neck, "This is a very akward family reunion.."
