HEEEEY! IT IS MOI! Sorry if I keep dividing the chapter but it's just that I can't fit it all as a whole. It would be way too long. Im going to try and make this one the last one so I can later start with chapter 4! So…. Go forth and enjoy!

"I can't believe my parents would let me live with this nutcase for this long!"Link whispered over to his boy, Snake. The brunette nodded, agreeing with his friend.

"Let's just play along so he doesn't go all Hannibal Lector on us…"The brunette whispered. Their heads snapped back to the currently leader of the group, MH. They sent him a dirty look before returning to their whispering.

"I'm scared Sammy… What if he takes us hostage or something like that?" Peach asked her friend. The other blonde's face contorted into a terrified expression before it went back to normal.

"Well… he said it was nothing along those lines. But, with that story who knows…"She said on a low register covering her mouth as well. They were currently walking on another limestone path leading to one of the many fields the terrain had in it. MH walked until he reached the middle of the field, he then detoured left and continued to walk in a straight line, the group following him. They continued to walk until they came across a shed. Its walls were discolored and tainted by a green shade of green moss. The knob was rusty from all the harsh weather and the possible time it had spent without it being touched. MH reached for the knob and slowly twisted the door open. The inside was dark with a staircase leading down into more darkness. It looked like it was taken out of a famous scary movie. The only thing missing was the creepy grey girl crawling up through it. The teens peered down trying to get a better look. Toon climbed over Link to get to the front of the group, bumping with a few heads in the way. He dropped feet first and took a step closer to the staircase.

"Well… who's first?"Asked the old man.

"I'm out."Whispered the blonde as he pushed his way back into the back of the group. They all eyed each other waiting for someone to step in first.

"Luigi is going."Mario said as he pulled his brother's hand up. The younger brother slapped him off and pushed him near the shed.

"You go in first!"

"No, you."

"You!"

"No, you!

"No yo-"

"Enough!"Peach shouted as she pushed them two apart. And like this fight started, more began too. In the middle of the dispute, Nana walked around the oblivious teens and stood in front of the staircase. She stood on her toes and tried to see what was at the bottom. Unable to do so, she stepped into the first ladder making a loud creaking noise, catching the attention of everybody. Her brother's eyes doubled size when she took yet another step down into the darkness.

"NAARA BOROVSKY XENDRAY COME BACK HERE IN THIS VERY MOMENT!" He shouted as he pushed the people in his way. His twin stuck her tongue out at him before dashing toward the stairs, creaking all the way down. Her brother sprinted towards the shed and ran after her.

"Dude! Wait for us!" Red cried as he and the other four young teens ran after Preston and into the dark stairs.

"THE KIDS!" Zelda squealed as she and the other two girls mad dashed after them.

"THE CHICKS!" Cried Falcon as he ran after them along with all the guys. MH blinked a few times before shaking his head and closing the door on his way in. He slowly descended the stairs until he touched the dirt. He then proceeded to carefully walk his way through the mass of screaming teens. He felt a hand connect with the back of his head. He grumbled a curse before feeling the wall in front of him. He felt the door until he found the knob. He slowly turned open the knob making a heavy metal clang sound. This shut everybody up.

"What was that?" A scared young female voice asked as she wrapped her arms around the person closest to her. The person returned the hug and pulled her close to his chest. A few moments later the door flung open revealing a spiraling portal made up of various colors. It slowly began sucking up the air in the room. After the air was out the people came second. The first one to get sucked in was Lucas. He went into the portal screaming for his dear life.

"NOO! LUKE!"Cried Peach as she released the pipe she was holding onto. This swept her off her feet and onto the portal. Mario quickly followed in a desperate attempt on rescuing his girlfriend. Slowly, one by one, they were all sucked in except for three: MH, Toon, and Nana. The two teens were holding onto the last stair.

"I –can't hold on for much- AAAAHH!"She screamed as her fingers slipped off the wood. She was instantly sucked in by the portal. Trying to save her Toon let go of the stair and followed suit. With the last two in, MH let go off the railing and went into the spiraling portal, the door closing after him. He started off at a normal speed, until it gradually became too fast for him to even differ each color from the others. He then saw a white light at the end of the tunnel. As he came closer the light became brighter forcing him to close his eyes. He then felt light as a feather as he landed softly on the grass. He opened his eyes and looked around. The teens were scattered all around. Some on try branches, others flat on the ground, and a couple of unlucky teens landed in a nearby pond. He slowly stood up and brushed the dirt off his suit. He placed a hand over his eyes and admired the view in front of him. His lips twitched into a smile as he laughed.

"What's so funny, heh, bitch?!" An angry Ike growled as he wringed out his wet clothes. MH turned around with a glare on his face. He lifted a finger and placed it in front of Ike's face.

"Watch it, pretty boy."He snarled as he stepped back. Ike rolled his eyes and shook his head like a dog trying to released the excess of liquid on his blue locks.

Toonie remained laying there, over this extremely soft spot with some curious lumps on it. This is so soft… it feels like a pair of round, perky bo-

"Um… Link… mind moving?" A trembling voice asked from beneath him. He instantly sprung up and looked down. Nana pushed herself up using her elbows. She looked up into his eyes and held eye contact. This lasted for a few seconds.

"Seriously. Do you find me comfortable or what? Get off!" She snapped as she pushed him off her causing him to fall on his back.

"H-hey!" He called after her angrily. She stood up and trudged her way away from him and unto the group that was gathering in the middle of the clearing they were in. Everybody was talking over each other's voice, making it impossible to hear themselves. A loud whistle shut them all up. Their eyes fell on MH.

"Where in the actual fuck ARE WE?!" Ganon shouted. MH raised a hand up and cleared his throat. A smile crept into his lips.

"Welcome… to the Smash World!" He gleefully announced as he threw his hands up into the air. The crowd remained silent. He looked at each and one of their faces, who looked either confused or scared. "This world was long created by Sefora for only the Guardians and their keeper." He began as he spun around and began walking. The teens followed suit, scared of what might happen to them if they stayed behind. "It was long created as a safe haven for us, when we needed time for healing. Thank goodness you were bestowed with great resilience, or else your ancestors wouldn't have lasted a minute in the many battles they had." He added as he headed for the exit of the clearing, a treeless spot in the circle of trees that made up the clearing. MH walked out the clearing and turned on his heels to look at the group of frightened and unsure teenagers. He signaled them to come over with his hand. The group slowly began to advance, watchful eyes looking around awaiting for any brusque movement in the nearby shrubs. Crack.

"RUUUN!" Shouted Preston as he dashed for MH, the rest following behind him. They all gathered behind MH, except for two blondes.

"So unnecessary…" Samus whispered over to the younger blonde. He nodded back and headed for the shrub where the snapping sound had came from. It shook again as he got closer.

"Um…hello? Anybody there?" Toon asked as he knelt down on all fours. He cocked his head and waited. The shrub shook again, except this time, he saw something move in it. He quickly lunged for the shadow and took a hold of it. This is when he felt a strong electric shock course through his whole body. He quickly dropped whatever he had caught and fell on his back. He twitched a bit as he sat up. MH immediately began trotting over to him. Then a yellow silhouette jumped out the bushes and stood in a defensive pose, electricity emanating from a pair of red pouches on its cheeks. The blonde pushed himself away from it using his feet. The yellow creature shot an electric charge towards the young teen, who barely jumped out the way.

"PIKACHU! STOP RIGHT NOW!" MH shouted with all his strength. The yellow creature's glare disappeared and turned into a confused expression. When it saw who was talking, it jumped into his arms and nuzzled against his face.

"Pika! Pika pika!" It cried happily as it continued to nuzzle in MH arms. Samus slowly walked towards the cute scene. She slowly extended her arm to caress the cute little yellow rodent. The little rat looked at her arm doubtfully; it then turned its head to look at her. The blonde smiled as she placed her hand in between its ears and began patting the creatures head. It slowly began nuzzling against her hand. A second later it jumped into her arms and cried happily the two vowel word it knew. The blonde hugged it closer.

"Um, excuse me? Didn't you see what that thing tried to do? It tried to kill me!" An angry Toonie cried as he stood up. Samus sent a glare his way before returning to hug the little rodent.

"Well, what would you do if some big git came and tried to kidnap you? Give him flowers?" She countered. The younger blonde rolled his eyes before walking towards MH.

"Mind telling us what THE HELL this thing is?!" He growled. The older male looked over at the angry teenager with a mild glare. He stepped towards the little rodent and took it from Samus, who begrudgingly let go. MH held it Zimba style, up in the air.

"Remember what I told you about inhabitants from other worlds? Behold this creature. It comes from a world where animals have special abilities capable of making them extremely dangerous if threatened." He said, his eyes on Toonie when he said the last part. The blonde looked down at his feet. "They normally don't attack humans unless they are scared or threatened by them. Some are independent while others need guidance from another being to know what to do." He finished and returned the rodent to the floor. It quickly began running around Samus, crying its name happily, causing the girl to go aww.

"Fox, bring the rest over. We are in the clearing." MH said through a walkie talkie he had pulled out his pocket. A bit a static was heard until a voice answered.

"Copied. We're all coming over." It answered, causing the teens to turn to MH. They all came over and gathered around him, bewildered expressions on their faces.

"Who was that?" Ike asked as he crossed his arms over his chest. MH smiled a funny smile before laughing.

"You'll see…" He said in a mysterious tone, freaking them all out. They all turned around and vigilantly scanned the area. After a minute or two, a few silhouettes were spotted all heading towards. They all walked in sync, a serious expressions or a lopsided grin on their face. With each step the group of anthropologic creatures took, the human group stepped back.

"Master Hand, it is always a pleasure to see you." A fox said as he extended a hand to greet MH.

"Master Hand?" Somebody asked from far behind the man. The fox cocked his had to see who was talking. Nana stepped out the group and stood in front of it, eyebrow cocked. The fox then turned to MH with both his brows up.

"Are those… them?" He asked, his eyes glued on the girl. MH nodded with a smile spreading to show his white pearls. A small simper appeared on the creature's face as he took a step back.

"It's really them… C'mon guys!" He said as he called the group behind him. They all began walking towards the people in front of them. The group began to step back making the creatures slow down pace.

"We won't hurt you… we just want to talk." The fox said as he lifted his palms. Preston pushed his way to the front of the group, where he stood in front of his sister.

"We don't know that…" He spat as he looked intently at the gun that hung from the fox's hip. The fox rolled his eyes as he turned his head to the man in the suit beside him. The man shrugged. The fox then face palmed. He then threw his gun at the floor and walked until he was a mere two feet in front of the brunette.

"Well, my name is Fox and I'm a Guardian, just as you are too." Fox said. "What's your name kid?" He then asked.

"Mom said to never talk with strangers." The brunette replied silently. Fox's eye twitched as he took in a deep breath. He then sighed heavily.

"I'm am no stranger, I am your friend a-"

"No you're not."

"I'm trying but you won't let me." He countered back. The brunette eyed him for a few seconds, looking for any peril on him.

"The name's Preston." He voiced, taking a more calmed stance. He then ruffled his own hair letting out a frustrated sigh. Fox looked back at MH with a worried expression. The man looked shocked, surprised by this too.

"You okay?" Fox asked as he looked the teen massaged his temples roughly.

"This is NOT happening. I am going to wake up on my bed because this is just a silly dream of mine." He said more to himself than to the animal. His sister took a step away from him.

"Sorry to brake it to you but it IS happening." Fox said. Preston's head than shot up to look at him. He then poked the fox's chest. He poked it again. And again. And again. And again. The fox than grabbed the teens hand.

"Stop it, it hurts." He said with a slightly angry tone. Preston took his hand back and smiled apologetically.

"Sorry, I just can't believe this is happening. To me, we humans were the only beings in our galaxy. It never crossed my mind a fox would actually speak to me while standing on two feet. I was born in a world where beings like you don't exist but in books. Understand this is not easy for me, my sister, and my friends back there who are looking more confused and terrified than a fucking lost child lost in Disney fucking WORLD! Okay?! Okay…" The teen blubbered. He then took in a deep breath and held it for a second before releasing it. Fox smiled a friendly smile before placing a hand on the teens shoulder, causing him to flinch.

"Don't worry. It is understandable. I mean, back at my home planet the word human didn't exist in our vocabulary. I first saw them when I came here; I saw your race in pictures. Very wide by the way, and I didn't freak out. You are a very curies species. You kill each other out of spite and then go around preaching about love and acceptance. Not very logical." He said. Preston was about to counter, but got interrupted. "This is my first time seeing a real human with bones and everything." Fox added. The brunette remained silent for a moment.

"First of all, the government is the one responsible about all the violence. Second, you hadn't met a human before? But what about MH or Master…" The boy spoke, forgetting the man's last name.

"Master Hand?" Fox asked, a small grin on his face.

"That thing." Preston said as he snapped his fingers.

"Um… but his not human." The fox said matter-of-factly. Preston cocked an eyebrow as he crossed his arms.

"What?" He asked, his eyes now on MH, who was avoiding all eye contact with them.

"You haven't told them?" A blue spiky animal asked as he sent a glare to the man in suit. The male shook his head awkwardly as he let out a nervous laugh. The blue animal began tapping his foot impatiently as he placed his fists on his waist.

"Master Hand…" He chastised. The man let out a sigh as he started walking in the teen's direction. They stared attentively as the man approached them. He stood in front of them, discomfort obvious on his features. He took in a deep breath and hugged himself. A white aura veiled him, shining so blindingly they had to all look away. Once the brightness was gone they all turned their attention to the spot where the man once stood. They're jaws dropped and their knees bucked at the sight in front of them. The twins slowly went back to the group, looking for protection.

"I don't bite… I mean, I can't now." The once man said. The teens grouped closer to each other. Fox chuckled as he shook his head. The floating appendage hovered closer to the teens and stretched his palm, as if asking to trust him. With doubt still in her system, Zelda slowly stretched his hand over to the floating appendage. He took it gently in between his index and thumb and shook it vigorously, causing the girl to smile. Slowly but steadily they all advanced forward, closer to the hand, gaining a little trust on it. They soon began shaking hands with him.

"Oh wow!" Cried Peach as she shook hands with Master Hand.

" From now on call me Master Hand, okay?" He said with a friendly voice. The young teens nodded eagerly as they flashed him a smile. The hand then turned around and called the other group closer.

"Okay, hear me out. The newbies need a walkthrough of the mansion. I'm going to assign you a small group so you take them around the place and show them around." The hand said as it snapped is finger, making a piece of paper appear in between them.

"K, Bowser take Mario, Luigi and Peach along with you…" Started the hand, until he came to last persons. "Now Fox, take the twins with you." The hand ordered as it began to float to the front of the

"I want them in the foyer by three. You have an hour. Go now." He ordered as it happily hovered away from the scene.

"Hey, dude, can I go with my friends? Yes? Thank you." Preston asked, not letting the fox answer. He then trotted his way to his four friends and went along with a blue Pokemon, leaving his sister alone with Fox.

"Is he always like that?" The anthropologic animal asked. The girl nodded as she watched his brother laugh along with those three morons he called his friends, and Link. His eyes look especially gorgeous today… She thought, before mentally slapping herself.

"Well, let's go." Fox said as he began walking, Nana following behind. They walked along the long ass front yard of the mansion. It was breathtakingly beautiful. It had a long and wide path with columns to adorn it. It gave you the impression you were walking in some kind of Greek palace. The sunlight crept through the conjunctures of the columns and shone over them. Naara gawked at the gardens in either side of the path. She veered to the right and walked closer to the edge. A little pond with water lilies had caught her attention. She slowly climbed down the meter and a half path and unto the garden. Her feet guided her to the cherry blossoms trees where she picked up a small flower and held lovingly in her hand. Fox leaned against a column and waited for the girl to finish. She then looked around at the variety of flowers she had never seen. They showed their bright colors under the sun. Her head then snapped over to the mansion. Five stories. Cream colored walls. Lots of windows. Pretty impressive.

"Wanna come in or do you want me to show you the garden?" Fox asked loudly from where he stood. The girl smiled as she ran her way back to him. Fox bent down to grab her hand to pull her up again swiftly.

"Woah! You're strong!" She laughed as she landed on her feet after he had hauled her up. The fox chuckled as he scratched the back of his head.

"Sorry. I sometimes have trouble controlling my strength, but hey don't judge. You are going to go through it too." He said as he began walking. What did he mean by that? She though. Seeing she was being left behind, Nana quickly leaped her way to Fox's side.

"Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! FREE SLUSHIES!" Red cried as he poured himself some slushie from the machine. The boys were currently in the lounging room, where all the machines and TV were at. Lucario sat calmly on the floor as he meditated.

"What are you searching so intently boy?" He asked Link without loosing his position. The blonde turned around and faced him.

"Nothing. Nothing…" He said as he scratched his head.

"You can't fool me kid. I can sense you restlessness." The pokemon said as he opened his eyes. The blonde shrugged as he fiddled with his thumbs.

"I can read minds too, you know…" He added with a smile. The young blonde giggled shyly as he blushed. The pokemon's smile grew wide as he stood.

"That girl has caught your attention, no? I understand. She does having some physical assets that you humans are… what was the word? Ah, sexually attracted to." The pokemon said matter-of-factly, making the blonde blush a deeper shade of red. He looked down at his feet as he shifted his weight on them awkwardly.

"Trust me kid. This is temporary. This attraction I sense you're having won't last. Don't do anything you might regret." The aura pokemon admonish. Link's head shot up, his eyebrow cocked.

"What do you mean by 'things I might regret'" He said, using his hands to apply apostrophes to the quote. The pokemon flashed him a lopsided smile.

"I might not be human, but I do know what happens when they succumb to their most primal and instinctive needs… if you catch my drift." The pokemon said. Link's face went beat red again. He felt a paw rest on his shoulder. His head snapped back up to look at the pokemon in the eye.

"I'm sure you'll do fine." He said as he flashed the teen a smile. He then whistled, catching the attention of the other four, who were stuffing their mouth with candies and whatnot.

"C'mon, I still have to show you half of the mansion." He announced as he headed for the door, signaling them to come over with his paw.

"Wait!" Link called after them. They all turned their heads to him. He sent them a smile as he grabbed a cup. "I love me some slushie!" He said as he pulled lever down, letting the frozen goodness pour into the cup.

"… and then I came here." Fox finished his narrated biography to Nana. She nodded as he finished. She took a sip from the juice they had grabbed from the kitchen.

"Wow. Honestly, wow!" She said as she began laughing. "You've had an interesting life." She then added. The fox chuckled and nodded.

"What about you? All I know is that your name is Nana and your sisters with Preston, but that's it." He said with a smile. Her smile disappeared from her face and turned into a slight frown.

"Well… if you compare my life with your, it would looked so lame." She said as she shook her head sideways.

"Oh, come on! It can't be that bad. Tell me." He urged her. She looked down at her cup and traced its edge with her finger.

"Well, I was born in Moscow, Russia. My first language wasn't English, but Russian instead. It took me a whole year to learn it when I came to the US. I still mispronounced a word or two, but that's it. My brother and I had come here thinking we were exchange students with an extremely long student visa. It never crossed my mind I would be in another world talking to a bipedal fox." She said as she looked at him with a small smile. He chuckled as he smiled back. Her head than turned away from him to look at something or more like someone walking a few meters near them. His green eyes followed her dark ones and fell on a blonde guy with black orbs who seemed to be staring back at her. A grin spread across Fox's face as he prodded the girl. Her head whipped back to him.

"Is he your booooyfriend?" He asked teasingly. Nana's face turned a cute taint of pink as she looked away from him.

"N-no! How c-can you think that?!" She said nervously. The boys eyes then fell on the fox. He immediately looked away. Fox's grin turned into a smile.

"But you do like him… Don't you?" He whispered. Her face turned a dark shade of pink as she shook her head.

"Hell nah! He's my brothers friend, and he would never allow him near me." She answered swiftly. The canid shrugged without losing his smile.

"Whatever makes you sleep at night." He answered back. The girl shot him a death glare. "Okay sorry…" He apologized. Her glare softened and turned into a soft smile.

"Tell me more about you…and maybe a little bit about him." He asked her after a minute of silence. The girl's smile vanished again.

"Um… okay. Well… his name is Link, but he's not the only one named like that. And he is in the soccer team. And he is kind of a player, so that's why I refuse to fall for him. And… well, because he is out of my league." She said softly, a knot forming in her throat as she spoke. Fox's eyes looked at different parts of her faces searching for any other sign away from sadness. He then frowned.

"Pssssh! Girl, come ON! You can get yourself any piece of booty you want. And you are very personable. We've only been talking for half and hour and I already like you as a close friend." He said as he placed a hand on her shoulder. Her smile returned to her lips instantly.

"Aw, thanks!" She said as she patted his back. They chuckled together before she cleared her throat.

"Okey… I go to Chapton Middle School which is filled by dumb jocks and slutty girls which I HATE. Honestly, sometimes I feel I am inside a freaking strip club. And the jocks… God! Are they annoying! They are stupid as a rock and mean as the devil. There are only a few people worth respecting and those are my brother and his friend. And this girls Medli, and Tetra, but then the rest of the population is seriously, pardon my French, fucked up!" Nana blurted as she threw her hands up in the air. Fox laughed hard after hearing what she'd just said.

"I'm sure you are stereotyping them all. There has to be more than just a handful of cool and chill kids at your school. Have you ever considered joining a club?" He said/asked her. The girl shook her head with a blank expression.

"What are you good at?" Fox asked. Nana gave him a deadpan expression. "Really? You have to be good at something!" Nana shrugged and laughed nervously. He face palmed before shaking his head.

"Um sports?" He asked.

"If falling on your ass every time you run counts as good, than I'm good." She answered as she shrugged. Fox shook his head.

"Um, drama club?" Shake. "Eh… book club?" Shake. " Glee club?" Shake. "School band?" Shake. "Okay, then I guess you are useless." He said after listing the options. She huffed before socking his arm, hard. He sent her a playful glare as he rubbed his arm.

"You hit, Nana… How about boxing?" He said as he smiled at her. This earned him another hit, twice as hard as the last one.

"Fine, chill. I was just joking." The fox said. Fox then turned towards the foyer and began walking in its direction. Nana followed, a bit confused as to why he didn't continue showing her throughout the rest of the mansion.

" We still have fifteen minutes. Where are you going?" She asked as she tagged behind the fox. He shot his greens and smiled at her. His head then whipped right and left before jumping off the pathway to the foyer and unto the grass. He then extended his hands up and waited for her to come closer. Fox then carefully grabbed her waist and brought her down to where he was. He then dashed through the Arborvitae shrubs that were close to the walls of the mansion.

"W-wait!" She called after him. She ran as fast as her legs would allow her, but she roughly managed to keep a ten feet distance in between them. After two minutes of running a long, Victorian-like building came into their sight. Fox came to a sudden halt, only to have Nana crash into him. He remained on his two feet, while she lay down on her back. He quickly helped her up, a sheepish smile on his face while he was doing so. She rubbed her head as she eyed the stained glassed windows of the old structure. The entrance was composed by a heavy, two metre tall, oak wood double door with intricate carvings and a rusty iron doorknob along with a gargoyle door knocker. Fox slowly pushed the door ajar and stuck his head in for second, before pushing it completely open. As soon as the doors were open, a sea of bookshelves wandered into the young teen's vision. Fox pulled her in and shut the door swiftly, hoping nobody had caught them. Her eyes, as well as her mouth, were wide open in amazement and excitement. Her legs began to walk on themselves towards the nearest aisle. It appeared to be the fiction section. From the thinnest to the thickest book laid there at arm length of our little bookworm. Her hand quickly shot to a book with a worn out red cover. She hastily opened it only to find out it was in another language. A very rare one, in fact. It almost seemed alien… she then remembered she wasn't exactly on her home planet. She slid it back into its place, and dished another one out. Same problem. Alien inscriptions was all that she could find. She gave up after the twentieth book. She came walked back to where she had left her buddy only to find him sitting on at a table with a book on his right hand, and a cup of tea on his left. He had a pair of glasses on. His eyes quickly moved as he read. Nana slowly tiptoed to his side and leaned in to read to see in what language it was. It was in French.

"What are you reading?" She asked after a minute of silence. Fox took a sip of his green tea before laying down the cup and turning to the girl.

"The Hunchback of Notre Dame." He spoke lightly as he resumed his reading. Nana stood awkwardly in front of him as she shifted her weight on either foot.

"Want to know where I found it?" Fox asked, without removing his eyes of the book. Nana nodded a bit to eagerly for her persona, but nonetheless, nodded. Fox chuckled heartily as he brought himself up to his feet.

"Hurry, we only have five minutes before we have to head back to the mansion." He said, before dashing, a lot slower than before, towards the far north end of the humungous library. The brunette followed short after him. After giving a few turns here and there, they came across a staircase tightly attached to the wall. The fox bounced his way up with the teen following closely after. When they finally reached the second level of the library s pedestal stood proudly in the middle of the whole room, illuminated by a sole, majestic light.

"What's that?" The girl asked as she neared it absentmindedly. Fox walked alongside her not yet answering her question. Once the stood in front of it, a yellow paged book laid wide open on it. It was clearly handwriting.

"It was long ago written by the earth sages, when the first generation of Guardians existed. It narrates the story to detail of how we were created, but I guess Master Hand gave you his crappy version already." Fox said as if reading her mind. She remained silent. When fox decided to look somewhere else in the room, a naughty hand decided to flip to the next part only to have its fingertips zapped by some kind of electricity. Nana's little wail made fox turn around. He quickly grabbed her hand and began shaking his head.

"God, I forgot to tell you only full-on Guardians and their custodian can touch the ancient text." He said as he examined her hand.

"I'm not a Guardian then?" Asked the brunette. Fox shook his head.

"Not a full-blown one… At least not yet." He said as he wrapped a band-aid around her burnt tips. He then turned to look at the clock hanging near the staircase.

"Shoot, we are gonna be late!" He cried as he glued a hand to his head. Before she even knew what had happened, she was on Fox's back while he ran down the staircase. They were fast gone from the library and were know running towards the mansion. Once near the Arborvitae shrubs, he dropped her to her feet. They ran towards the marble pathway that lead to the foyer. Fox climbed up using a column as support to pull himself up. He then helped Nana up. As soon as he set foot on the path the entrance door flung open and a bunch of noisy Guardian groups sashayed out of the mansion. They all seemed to get along, except for a few, that seemed to glare at each other. Nothing too evil though. A blue bird came towards them with Pit and Link following behind.

"Fox! Dude! Where were you at? I was looking for you." He said as he patted the fox's shoulder lightly. His eyes than darted towards the girl standing beside his friend.

"Hey there, young lady. Falco Lombardi's the name. What's yours?" He said as he stretched out his wing to greet her. Nana took his wing delicately, afraid to pull out a feather if she was too rough.

"Naara Borovsky. Nice to meet you…" She muttered in between a tight smile.

"Naara? Kinda quirky doncha' think?" He said as he nudged her lightly.

"Well Falco isn't precisely a customary name." She said as a grin spread across her features. The bird chuckled as he placed a hand on his hip.

"We've got ourselves another Fox!" He said in between chuckles. The other young teens behind him laughed, even though hadn't known Fox for longer than two minutes. Both Fox and Nana gave them the same semi-glare. This made Falco calm down a bit. A few seconds a throat being cleared made everybody shut their hole and pay attention to the hand before them.

"Now that you know the mansion, mostly, we are going to pass to the next part of our journey." Master Hand announced, making the nonhuman Guardians either gasp or giggle in excitement.

"Sadly, this part is to be done only with the ones who haven't been through it alone." The appendage added, making most of the Guardians sigh.

"If you will please follow me…" He said as he began floating away. The humans remained granite still for a moment, after which they followed the floating hand. Nana turned her head back to look at Fox who gave her a thumbs up. She sighed nervously as she clinged onto her brother's arm. She had a bad feeling about this…

Grgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgr

After what seemed an eternity of walking through nothing but grass, a large stone circle appeared in their vision. It seemed to be incrusted into the land where it laid. The hand floated to the center only to transform into its human version with a 'poof'. He then signaled the group to come near. They slowly approached him, looking around for anything to jump up on them.

"Now please, form a circle around me by holding hands." Master Hand ordered. They all did. Nana ended grabbing her brother's and Zelda's hand. The older teen winked at her and gave her reassuring smile. In the meantime, Master Hand united his hands as if on prayer for a second. A bright light then emerged out of his eyes and palms. Once this happened, he spread both his legs and arms apart, causing the stone circle to quickly dive deep into the ground. A string of screams of all kind followed soon afterwards. The land above them either began closing or started to become distant, they couldn't actually tell. The edges of the stone illuminated a cyan color as they when further deep into the ground. After a minute of panicking and screaming the stone finally stopped making everybody collapse due to the force brought to by the impact. Only Master Hand stood immobile. After a second or two the whole room they were in brightened severely, making them shut their eyes immediately. Master Hand tiptoed his way through the collapsed bodies of the teens.

"Definitely the weakest group until now." He said loudly, making them bow their heads embarrassed. He then proceeded to place a hand in the stone walls of the room. The gray stone then divided to show a pathway tunnel that lead to who knows where. Scared they might be left behind, they all mad dashed after Master Hand. They all entered a circular room that had an arena at the center. A few got near the rail and looked down.

"It looks like the Roman Coliseum…" Samus commented as she scanned the area.

"The what?" Falcon asked. The blonde face-palmed as she let out an irritated groan. On the other side of the room the five youngsters stood huddled in a group.

"This is…" Ness began, but stopped because he found himself at loss of words. He instead shook his head and looked around with curious eyes.

"Are those obelisks?" Preston asked out of the blue, as he leaned against the rail. The other four did too lean and saw the little obelisks, nineteen to be exact, sitting in along the circular walls of the arena.

"In here we will decide from what your ability is. You will go down and… well. It would better if you saw instead of listening to it." Master Hand spoke loudly. He than stretched his hand forward, and with an upward motion nineteen different symbols emerged out of the obelisks and gently floated an inch about its tip. Many jaws dropped while other just stood there wide eyed.

"So…" Master Hand said as he neared the wall. He gave it a light stroke. The rock parted to show another pathway tunnel, only this one was narrower than the last one. "Who goes first?" He added as he pointed his fingers at the tunnel. There was a long silence. Master Hands smile faded into a bored expressions. He opened his mouth to say something only to be cut by a raised hand. Toon waved his hand calmly as he walked toward the man.

"I'll go." He said. Before Master Hand could say anthing, the blonde was long gone into the tunnel. A violet magnetic field sealed the entrance to the tunnel. A worried expression spread across everybody's face. A few seconds later, the obelisks came closer to each other to enable the wall of the arena open and show the young teen with a puzzled expression. He slowly stepped in only to have the wall behind him close up again and the obelisks to return to their position.

"How are you doing honey?" Peach called from above. Toon craned his head up and smiled a forced smile.

"I thought I was lost." He answered truthfully, causing the thin layer of anxiousness to vanish. He stood there eyeing the symbols, not knowing what to do next.

"Uh, Master Hand…" He called.

"You do not choose the symbol. The symbol chooses you. Just walk near the obelisks and which ever one lights up is your ability." He said loudly enough for everybody to hear. They all nodded and turned to look at the blonde in the arena. He awkwardly turned on his heel and neared the obelisks. The first one he saw was a mushroom. Uh… The hell? He thought as he waved his hand in front of it. It did nothing but happily spin. Thank God I didn't get that weird ass shroom. Who knows what strange power it might have given me… He thought, a smile spreading across his face. He continued to walk near the obelisks, stopping at the ones that called his attention. To his dismay, none of the cool ones lit up when he came near. He was starting to get mad. Goddammit, I want to get out of here! I bet you none of this will light up if I co- His thoughts were cut short when a golden light flashed behind him. He slowly turned around to face the symbol. A triangle next to a triangle with a triangle above? Really? He thought as he eyed the symbol. He then wished the awesome lightning symbol had lit up when he was near. He stood there waiting for something to happen. Nothing. Nada. He then looked up at to see everybody eyeing him anxiously. He then stared at Master Hand, asking him with the eyes what to do next.

"Touch the symbol." He said calmly. The blonde slowly stretched his hand but was stop by Master Hand. "Wait! Link…" He called loudly. He slowly started fretting with his fingers and smiled a nervous smile. The blonde stood there, his hand an inch away from the symbol. "I just wanted to warn you that whatever happens after you touch the symbol won't damage you in any way, okay? Everything that happens, no matter how awful it may look, it is meant to happen that way, okay?" He said, turning the rest of the ones present when he said the last part. The young teen gave him a suspicious look before gently prodding the tip of the top triangle. Instantly, a blinding light engulfed his left hand. Everybody looked away due to the glare of the light. After a few seconds they all turned to the blonde. He stood looking at his hand as it if weren't his.

"What's wrong, honey?" Peach asked in a motherly tone. Toon then showed the top of his hand. The triangle symbol glowed on it, as if it were some kind of shinning tattoo. He then smiled.

"Master Hand! What were you so worried about?" Toonie said as he waved his hand at the old man. His smile than vanished when he saw the symbol disappear in a matter of seconds.

"This." The man answered as he looked away. The teen was about to ask him what he meant when he felt his left arm all tingly. Suddenly, from the tip of his fingers, his veins turned the golden color of the symbol when it was plastered on his hand. It slowly crept up into the rest of his body, leaving an intense burning sensation at the last location the golden substance had once been. Toon Link's face first turned into one of discomfort. His face slowly contorted into one of intense pain. He let out a blood curling scream before dropping down on the floor. He writhed and squirm. Soon the golden substance spread throughout the veins on his neck and part of his face. All the room began filling with panicking screams and shouts. Zelda ran to Master Hand, her face filled with tears.

"Stop this!" She cried as she placed her hand on his shoulder. He shook his head as he sighed.

"It may seem awful but it won't last long." He spoke solemnly, as he saw one of 'his' kids squirming and groaning in pain. Not long after all his veins had the golden substance, it finally reached the heart, which sent in other directions adding more pain to him. A few seconds later a glare of the same color of the substance, wrapped him up like a cocoon. All the shouting calmed down when they saw the cocoon float up into the air and to the center of the arena. It than sent a blinding flash before disappearing into thin air and dropping out his prisoner. He fell on all fours and remained like that for a minute or two. He then snapped his head up and stared at the people up in the second floor. They were all looking scared and worried. He slowly stood, groaning throughout the process. He then proceeded to stretch. A golden light caught his attention. The little symbol remained on his left hand. It slowly vanished. He held his breath hoping for another round of what he had just gone through. When nothing happened, he let out a relieved sigh. He then glared up at Master Hand.

"If you ever make me go through something like that I swear I will cut your fuc-" He began in a feral tone only to be stopped by a happy shout coming from Red.

"Ladies and gentleman, hes o-kaay!" He announced loudly, causing everybody to laugh and for the blonde to calm down. He then shot them a smile. The obelisks than spread again, and the wall parted. The blonde dashed at a blinding speed for it. He was in the second floor within seconds. All the jaws dropped once again.

"How in earth did you do that?!" Marth cried. The blonde stood still for a second… then he shrugged. Marth opened his open to ask another question when he was interrupted by Master Hand.

"This are the abilities I'm talking about." He said. A bunch of curious eyes darted his way.

"So you are telling me we will get super speed and stuff like that?" Lucas asked as he crossed his arms.

"Well, kind of. Everybody will get a little enhancement in your speed. Some of you will get special power; flying, mind powers, extra strength, special projectiles that come from your body… Stuff like that…" He tried explaining. The room remained silent for a second.

"Bitch I'm first!"Preston cried as he dashed for the entrance. Simultaneously, the rest of the group dashed toward the door, only to have them get stuck. The blonde eyed Master Hand, before both began laughing at the silliness of the situation. Boy this was going to take long…

Grgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgr

"… I mean, seriously?! What-the-fuck?! Who came up with the stupid eggplant symbol?! It is ridiculous!" An angry twin cried to his friends.

"Dude, remember what Master Hand said after we got our symbol? We were going to get our weapons. That might make up for…your eggplant." Ness said, with a sheepish smile on his lips.

"Wanna bet that I'll get a fucking hand shovel, a sissy dress, and a faggy bag of seeds?" Preston muttered. This made his friends laugh.

They were currently walking through another tunnel, only this one was a tad longer. After a minute of walking through the moss-smelling tunnel, they came to another stone room similar to the last one. Only this one had a sole light illuminating just the center and left the rest in pure darkness, except for the mysterious neon specks that were on the roof resembling stars.

"Boy, its dark here…" Toon said as he tried to walk without tripping. Mission impossible. He ended up hitting his chest against the railing. One would think this would hurt like a bitch, but not to him. He barely even felt. Cool… He thought as he examined his chest.

"Um, everybody…" Ness called loudly. All the people present in the room followed the sound of his voice.

"Where's Lucas?" He asked. In a matter of second, the room filled with echoes of his name.

"Found him."Master Hand said. They all squinted their eyes to see better. There in deed he was, grasping onto the old man's torso. You see, our little young boy has a phobia. He is afraid of the dark.

"Uh… well… who goes first?" The man asked as he tried to removed the blonde off him. Lucas' shot up to look him in the eyes.

"If I go there will I be able to stand in the light?" He asked in a low voice. Master Hand nodded. The blonde immediately jump onto the railing, and then unto the arena. He was under the light beam in a matter of seconds. Master Hand opened a door on the wall with a deadpan expression. The blonde chuckled sheepishly. The light intensified and left him looking white as snow under its self. Slowly, his shirt began fading. Lucas gave the room a little look, just to see his friends with a wide Cheshire Cat smile and a few people laughing. He then looked down to himself standing in just his navy blue boxers.

"Master Hand what the FUCK?!" He shouted when he saw those were beginning to fade too.

"Are you scared people might see your micro dick?!" Red shouted before bursting into laughter. Lucky to the blonde, the light intensified and solely let his silhouette show. Still, a middle finger was recognizable in it. This made almost everybody laugh. After a minute the light began to lose its power. There he stood Lucas, on a yellow and orange striped shirt, a pair of semi skinny jeans and yellow and orange sneakers. He stared at himself before giving Master Hand a disapproving look.

"I know just come on up." The old man said. The blonde rolled his eyes and walked towards the door. once he was back in the second level he came across a smiling group of teens. Then they all burst laughing. He rolled his eyes and walked to where his friends.

"Shut up." He said when they all started laughing. He then poked Preston, who was laughing the hardest.

"I dare you to go next." He said in a low voice tone. The brunette shrugged and began walking toward the entrance.

"Nothing can be worse than your outfit." He said as he walk backwards into the tunnel. He was near the light in matter of seconds. He slowly stepped into it. He skin paled under its glare. Slowly his shirt faded, and showed his muscled torso and abdomen.

"You wish you had this!" He shouted at his friends, at which they all responded by lifting up their shirts and showing their also muscled body. Preston laughed as he rolled his eyes. Slowly he felt his legs become unveiled. He then placed both hands in his crotch to prevent anything from being seen. The light too, became stronger, only allowing his silhouette to be seen. After a few seconds the light dimmed and showed what Preston was wearing. Lucas sputtered before letting out a hearty laugh, along with everybody.

"Suuure! Nothing can be worse than my outfit!" Lucas shouted at Preston. The brunette removed his hood and smiled his cocky smile. He then raised a gigantic mullet into the air and chuckled. This shut everybody up.

"You all look better when quiet…" He mumbled as he turned to walk out the light.

And so on, many received their outfit and weapons. Some were laughed at, others applaud, and others just caught the eyes of the young teens.

Grgrgrgrgrggrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgr

"It is not fair… The ones with the dumber outfits have the cooler weapons." Lucas complained as he eyed his friends. Their outfits were truly horrible, but their weapons kicked ass. Toon examined his bow, while Red examined the bicolor balls, wondering what they were. Popo walked nonchalantly with his mallet slung over his shoulder and his parka on one hand. Again they were in another tunnel. This one led to another round room with a circle in it. Similar to the one they had first arrived on, only this one was made or marble. Master Hand walked to the center of the circle and turned his back to them.

"Now please, form a circle around me by holding hands." He said. The teens sighed and did so, looking inwards this time. Master Hand did a similar motion to the first, only this time he motioned upward, causing the circle to shoot up into the whole into the ceiling. Another string of screams and curses were heard throughout the journey up. Once they reached the surface, the circle came to a sudden halt, causing the teens to fly up into the air only to fall down again. Hard. Again Master Hand remained in his place. He tiptoed his way out the bodies. After five minutes of laying immobile, they began to stand up one by one. They all stretched and scanned the room they were in. An old Victorian styled room with different couches and coffee tables spread throughout the wooden walls of the place. A few pots here and there. A counter with a coffee machine and a tea brewing spot stood beside the pair of old oak wood doors. Nana immediately recognized the place. The library! She slowly walked towards the double doors and pushed them open revealing the sea of shelves she had seen earlier. Her eyes darted in every direction looking for the stairs she had been once at. She felt a hand lay on her shoulder. She turned to see her brother with the same face she had when she first came in.

"I think I just fell in love…" He muttered as his eyes darted all around the place. Nana giggled as she nodded.

"So I guess we still something in common." She said, a bit sad. Her brother hugged her with arm and chuckled.

"Ah, don't say that. You will always be my sister. Doesn't matter if we have something in common or not." He said as he rubbed her arm. She hugged him by the shoulder and leaned against him. They kept staring at the bookshelves in their own little world. Their peace was cut short by Master Hand speaking.

"If you please follow me, I'll take you to the study lounge." He said as he walked pass the two brothers. They soon all followed after the man. They veered left and continued straight through the History section. He pushed another set of double doors to reveal a… classroom. It was equipped with twenty-seven desks and a chalkboard in front of them. A teacher's desk was it the right corner of the room. It looked pretty basic, actually.

"Please take a seat." Master Hand ordered as he walked towards the front of the class. They all dashed to find a comfortable desk. Like always the guys sat in the back, while the girls sat in the middle and front rows. Nana checked under the desk and found a leather bound pocket book. She examined it closely. Soon, the title of the book began to appear in golden letters, like if some kind of invisible being started writing on it. Nana waited for it to be written and read 'The Old Text' in cursive letters. 'Pocket Edition' later appeared below the title. This made the young girl laugh. She opened it to find that it was blank. But just like the title, the letters began to appear. She read the first word. Prologue… She read to herself. Long ago, in a world of peace, a dark flame emerged from the most secluded places of the Earth. Not long, it spread like wild fire throughout the rest of the land, staining the pureness it had. Only a group of heroes could stop this. These heroes were sent as a gift from the gods to watch over the good and terminate the bad. Unluckily, they were stained too. Not willingly, but nevertheless, they were filled with the darkness that threatened life on Earth. Desperate, Sefora, the goddess of the Earth, created another set of heroes, which were called the Guardians. Keep on reading to find out the perils and adventures Guardians have had throughout the generations. She read to herself. She nibbled on her lower lip, torn in between reading it or paying attention to what Master Hand had to say. She decided it was best to pay attention, and placed the book where she had found it.

"… That is what I will be teaching you here." Master Hand finished. Nana began fretting until she saw what was written on the board. Moves, techniques, dangers, the Amazonian Nation, sickness, health, training, special diet… She read to herself. Her brows furrowed together when she read training and special diet. Why would she need that?

"Okay, I'm going to give you a set of booklets for you to read. When I call your symbol, please come. Mushroomy Kingdom Emblem…" Master Hand began. Nana decided to phase out, since her symbol had nothing to do with mushrooms and stuff. Her head wondered from what she would eat at dinner to how the weather must be back at home. She was brought back to Earth when someone snapped their fingers in her face. She immediately shook her trance off and looked up to see her brother scowling at her.

"They are calling us." He said as she pulled her up by her forearm.

"Icicle Mountain Emblem!" Master Hand called out once again. The two twin brothers stepped in front of the man and took the booklets off him. Nana headed back to her seat only to be pulled by her brother of her seat. He took her to the desks at the end of the classroom. He sat down and pointed to the desk beside him. She rolled her eyes and sat down.

"Okaaay… it says we are ice masters and that we can control the ice but not when it is in its liquid state. We can turn water to ice, but we cannot turn ice to water… oh no yes we can. But we need to have handled the rest of our attacks with killer precision and perfection…" Preston said loudly as he skimmed through the booklet. His sister rolled her eyes and read hers.

"Look, beginner's positions for Ice Mastery!" She said as she pointed to the different attack positions on the booklet. Her brother gave her a blank look before looking at the drawings.

"The Ice Shot… Squall Hammer… Blizzard… Double Rope Pulley… Um, okay?" He said as he snatched the paper away from her sister and read over and over again. He then smiled.

"The blizzard seems pretty cool… but we need to have Ice Mastery at an advanced level to do it. Same with the Ice Shot. Damn it. They looked cool." He said more to himself than to his sister. His reading was cut short by a blonde that came running towards him.

"Dude, dude check out my moveset! So cool!" Toon said as he placed the piece of paper over his friend's booklet. The brunette scanned the movements.

"Spin attack? Won't you get dizzy?" The brunette argued as he stared at the attack. Toon Link shrugged.

"It has a special technique though. You just don't go and spin around like a dumbass. There is a leg and arm position for this." He said as he read the paper. His eyes than darted at the girl in the pink parka.

"What's your moveset?" He asked as he tried to eye the booklet she had in her hands. Her eyes looked up into his. She than noticed something weird… She stood up and grabbed his face and leaned closer. He blushed a red color when he noticed the closeness. She than cocked her head.

"Had you always had that green hue at the bottom of your eyes?" She asked as she drew back her hands. He gave her a weird smile as he shook his head.

"My eyes are pitch black…" He said as if he were talking to an infant. Nana pulled her brother up and brought him close to her.

" Let me see…" She said as she looked into her brother's once chocolate brown eyes. They were now darker, with a blue hue at the bottom. At the same time her brother looked into her eyes and examined them.

"Your eyes changed." They both said at the same time. Nana quickly darted for the closest person to her. Ness. She grabbed his head and brought him closer. She looked up into his eyes. The once black eyes now had an indigo hue at the bottom. She then turned around and turned around, leaving him puzzled.

"Dude our eyes changed color!" Preston said as he smiled at him. Ness gave him a doubtful look as he at the same time stared into his friend's eyes. He is right… Ness thought as he cocked his head. He immediately dashed towards Master Hand. He was giving the last booklet to Falcon.

"Hey! Why have our changed color?" He asked as he pointed at his. Master Hand smiled and stood up.

"Sit." He mouthed. Ness begrudgingly agreed. After everybody had sat the old man cleared his throat. He took a piece of chalk and wrote something on the board.

"Metamorphosis… what is it?" He asked cryptically. A hand shot up in the air. Toon sat there raising his hand with a bored expression on his face.

"Metamorphosis is a biological process by which an animal physically develops after birth or hatching, involving a conspicuous and relatively abrupt change in the animal's body structure through cell growth and differentiation." He said as if he were reciting a kids poem. Master Hand nodded knowingly. He then turned towards the rest of the faces present in the room.

"In simpler words, it means change. Evolving. Growing." He said. The man sat on the corner of the desk and smiled at the confused teens. "What happened to you about an hour ago was called the Initiation. This is the process by which your DNA changes slightly. It morphs into a more complex one that carries various alien genes that are in charge of your powers. And of course, the other link is the power of the goddess, Sefora. Your blood is the only thing that will remain untouched by these genes. Everything else will change. It could be as small as your hair growing a bit longer to your body growing an inch or two overnight. You are now a superior, mutated species of humans." Master Hand said as he played with the chalk. He then gave the cocky looking teens a stern look. "This means you are a lot more dangerous than the top five most wanted by the DEA… Your emotions are now easily piqued. You are now more prone to getting angry swiftly. You'll have mood swings and… Um… Youuur most primitives needs will be keener. Please don't succumb to teasing because now… You may end up hurting irreversibly or even murdering someone with your strength." Master Hand said as he awkwardly played with the chalk. The room remained silent for a very long term.

"We are now killing machines?" Falcon asked timidly.

"You always were…" Master Hand said as he stood up. He then pulled out a handful of pamphlets and started giving them away.

"This is the training schedule… We are training five days a week from four to six." He said monotonously as he opened the classroom doors. They all slowly stepped out, still digesting the information.

"Wait! Guys I wanted to tell you that… when this school year ends… you will no longer be allowed to play sports at school." Master Hand announced sadly. This brought everybody to a sudden stop.

"But my what about my scholarship?! I got it because I was the best quarterback they had seen in years!" Ike shouted angrily as he locked his fist together. Master Hand sighed and gave him a sad smile.

"And the queen told me you are going to have had at least a year of training before you leave soo… Seniors, you are not going to college until next year…" He said, covering his ears as he said the last part. It was wise to do so, because a string of curses and screams came from them.

"I did not work my ass off in that cheerleading team only to have you tell me I have to give up my scholarship because…"

"I have an internship this summer!"

"When will I get a full scholarship to Stanford ever again?"

"I'm not giving MIT up just because you say so!"

"OK."

After the teens ended their tantrum Master Hand sighed and shook his head. He gave them an apologetic smile and walked passed them.

"Let's get going." He said as he trudged towards the entrance of the library. A few teary teenagers stayed behind just to think what was going to be of them. They slowly regained their willpower and decided to head out towards the mansion. When the open the door, they saw that the sky was a beautiful orange color. The sun was setting down into darkness now. They gave a long sigh before walking.

Grgrgrgrgrgrrgrgrgrgrgrgrgr

"Oh boy! It smells delicious!" Pit commented as he flew into the mansion with his new wings. The five young smashers walked towards the dining room where they found forty appetizers laying on a giant table.

"Oh you are back!" Lucario said as he set down the last glass on the table. He then took his apron off and smiled at the young Guardians.

"Place your weapons here, please." He asked as he pointed at rack hanging on the wall. They obediently placed their weapons and shields down. Preston grabbed his sister's hand and brought her to where his friends were at. They all greeted her with a smile. She sat in between her brother and Toon. Soon they all began a chat about their new powers.

"In here it says I can shoot fire off my hands! How cool is that?!" Ness cried as he held his booklet in his hands, his eyes hungry for more information about himself. While the guys occupied themselves with their booklets, Nana let her eyes wander around the room. Her eyes fell on the giant window that occupied the entire wall in front of her. She saw through it how the orange hue on the sky dissipated and the indigo color took over the sky. After a few minutes of staring into the now pitch black sky she returned to the real world. She stared her left, looking for the blonde beside only to find an empty seat and dish. She then remembered her untouched appetizer laying in front of her. Gosh, I better gulp this down before anybody se-

"Hi, Naara, right? Don't you like your food I made?" A strange, little man with beady eyes asked as she looked up to see the girl.

"No! It's just that… I spaced out…" She said as she waved both hands in front of her in denial. The little man smiled and kept walking by.

"My name is Olimar, by the way." He said before turning on his heel and hurrying up to the kitchen. Nana sat there trying to swallow her whole plate of food before the entrees where served. Her eyes ended up landing on the group her brother and company. They seemed to be talking about a party that partook last Friday. It didn't surprise her she didn't know about it. She found out about rumors at school either by accident or eavesdropping. Like that one time she heard two classmates of hers were found eating each other's face out in the janitor's closet. Yeah, they let them go with a warning since the boy's dad was a congressman. If I had been caught I would've been sooo suspended… She thought bitterly. She quickly placed her thoughts aside and began her classic eavesdropping on her brother and friends' private conversation.

"…and I was like 'Daaaaaayuum, she can move!'" Ness finished, making the others laugh. Nana pretended to play with the salt shaker as she covertly leaned in closer.

"Dude! Lucas! Guess what?" Red asked the blondie as he gently socked his arm. The blonde responded with a cool nod.

"I heard a certain female soccer captain has a little crush on a male soccer captain!" The brunette said in a sing song tone. The blonde flushed a little as his eyes grew slightly wider.

"Really? Where'd you hear that?" He asked anxiously. That new piece of info had apparently sparked a little bit of interest on him.

"Sara told Jessica who told Jilly who told Oscar who then told it to Mark who then came to me to tell me to come to you… or something like that. But it definitely came from a reliable source!" The brunette said enthusiastically. Lucas' smile vanished, before he socked his friend and pouted slightly.

"She is never going to like me back…" He cried as he sunk in his seat. Preston rolled his eyes and gave him a grin.

"Dude… don't give up yet. It may still work. And if it doesn't work… there are tons of girls that would die to go out with you! I've heard girls saying you are a hottie! Anne from the cheerleaders was totally ogling you this Friday. And please smile because I couldn't feel more uncomfortable!" The brunette said as a stretched smile appeared on his face, making the others laugh, including Lucas.

"Yeah dude! We don't stress over women!" TL said as he leaned against the table corner, a lopsided grin in his face.

"Well, you don't! Girls fall to your feet like dead flies…" Lucas said as he sighed a long sigh. Toon shrugged and chuckled.

"What can I say? Ladies can't get enough of Link mothereffing Andorm!" He said, ending with a hip thrust. Nana rolled her eyes at this.

"You are disgusting." Preston commented, as if he had read her sister's thoughts. But then he laughed, as if he agreed with the blonde. Again, Nana rolled her eyes. She slowly leaned closer trying to hear the conversation a little better.

"Isn't it cute when a girl tries to eavesdrops but doesn't know how to?" The blonde ladies' man said as his eyes fell on the brunette. All the four remaining set of eyes landed on her, small grins on their face. Nana tried to play it out cool but ended up spilling the contents of the salt shaker on her plate. She then faced the five set of sly grins with a nervous one of her own. They all chuckled at her. Her cheeks flushed as she tried to hide her face from them. She felt a hand on her shoulder and looked up to see TL smiling at her as he sat on his chair once again.

"Ah, don't worry. It's not like we haven't eavesdropped before." He said as he sent her a flirty grin, earning a glare from her twin. The blonde was about to speak but was cut by the clinking of metal against glass.

"I would like to propose a toast…" Master Hand began as he stood with a glass and a knife on his hand. Everybody lifted their champagne up, including the young ones. Once everybody was silent, Master Hand cleared his throat to speak. "I would like to propose this toast in honor of the new members of the Guardian clan!"He said cheerfully before clanking his glass against Link's. Then the noise of glass against glass filled the room. They all proceeded to take a sip of the yellowish drink.

"God! I missed the taste…" Preston exclaimed after downing the entire glass of champagne. This earned him a weird look from her sister. This was supposedly their first time trying any kind of alcohol.

"Where had you tasted it before?"She asked as she swirled the liquid inside her glass. Her brother began fretting a little. A nervous chuckle escaped his lips as he tapped his fingers against the glass.

"Oh! Uh… hehe… Um, well… It was in sweet sixteen birthday from a girl we know from high school. It is not like we broke into Master Hand's liquor cabinet or anything…" He said, ending it with another nervous laugh. The other four guys slammed their fists down in unison and sent him a death glare. The brunette sunk deeper into his seat, only his forehead now showing. His sister giggled as she took another sip from her champagne.

"Come on guys! I'm not going to rat you out." She said as she laid down the cup. They slowly let their glares disappear as they regained a normal sitting position.

Dinner carried out peacefully. Question flew by like wind, and came one after another. After dessert they all sat quietly, since all possible topics they could discuss had been already brought up.

This the kinda beat that goes… Boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh!

When all heads turned to him, Toon shuffled with his phone trying to stop the music. When his eyes fell on the screen, he saw that he was receiving a call. He slid his finger across the screen and lifted his phone to his ear.

"Um… hello?" He asked, wondering how he got signal in there. He waited for an answer. In the background he could hear girly laughter, another girl shushing the laughing one.

"Shut up! Hey, Link. It's me, Paula. I wanted to ask you what the homework was." She said. The blonde remained silent as he tried to remember the assignments.

"Um Math, exercises ten through thirty… English, finish the novel… Science, do the summary of chapter twelve… And, the US History album. Don't you think it is a little late to start doing this?" He asked as he looked at his watch. He heard giggling again.

"I already did the album and read the novel! The other assignments are a piece of cake! Well bye." She said.

"Bye to you to-"

"Oh! Your game and ours have been switched. Guys play on Thursday. Now we play in the finals Friday, okay? Tell Lucas the coach said that." She added. "Well, bye." She finished, and hang up before the blonde could say anything. He sighed as a grin spread across his face. He then slipped his phone into his front pocket. After a few seconds of silence, Master Hand stood up and cleared his throat.

"Well this has been a lovely evening but we've got to get going." He said, making everybody groan and protest.

"You…" He pointed at the nonhuman Guardians. "Pack your stuff. We've only got twenty minutes. Make sure you don't leave anything behind." He said. At that moment, they all eyed each other, unsure whether they had heard him right. He snapped his fingers a few times as an exasperated look spread across his face. A small smile appeared on the face of all Guardians.

"I'll help you pack!" Link said as he looked down at Olimar with a big smile as that of a kid that had been told he was going to Disney Land and still was bursting with joy. Olimar smiled up at him and jumped off his seat and headed for the diner door. Soon everybody was trampling each other to get to their rooms first. Nana looked over at Fox with a shy smile.

"Want a little help?" She asked. He smiled back at her.

"Sure, I could use some help." He answered as he began trotting after the trampling mob, Nana following suit.

The blue Pokemon didn't have many belongings since they all fitted in a duffel bag. The five young teens were following him while trying to engage in friendly talk.

"Cool! So you instead of growing, you Pokemon evolve into a more advanced stage?" Red exclaimed as he beamed a bright smile. Lucario nodded, endeared by the youngling. They kept walking after the Pokemon, trying to not get lost in the humongous mansion. Finally, they arrived to the foyer. The Guardians seemed to all be ready to leave at any moment. Most wore a happy smile as they chatted together, waiting for the rest of the groups to arrive. After a few minutes they all had gathered outside the mansion, behind Master Hand. He began heading towards the field at the right of the mansion. Again they headed for a small shed, though this one seemed be taken care of. Its walls were red and the door was painted a spotless white. Master Hand grabbed the golden knob and twisted it. The door silently opened until it hit the wall. It had a lit staircase, which led to another door. Master Hand made his way down until he came upon that door. He pulled a key out and slipped into the knob, twisted left, and pushed it open. The Guardians ran after him, the last one shutting the shed for it to be opened another time. The room that the second door led to was similar to a barn, except it didn't have any hay stacks anywhere, but instead was empty. A single door stood forlorn on the wall opposite to the one behind them. It looked like a regular door, but had the feel to it that if you opened it, all the evil in the world would escape. Master Hand slowly walked towards it, every echo f his footstep sending chills down everybody's spine. His hand landed softly on the knob of the door and remained still for a second. After that, he twisted it open, a portal waiting on the other side. It instantly began sucking everything in. The old man grabbed unto a wooden pillar. The baggage was the first to fly into the portal. Unlike the first one, this portal was purple and had a much more intense sucking power (hehe…), making it nearly impossible to remain on your feet. Sonic let his hand let go of the door knob of the second door and dived directly into the portal, five more following suit. This time no screaming was heard, but chants and 'woos' and 'ahhs'. Soon, all the Guardians were inside the portal spiraling back to their world. Master Hand let go off the pillar and jumped into the portal, the door closing after him. Again he saw the light coming closer, meaning he was nearing the other side. The light became so bright he had to close his eyes. soon he felt light as a feather as he fell into… water? He opened his eyes and looked above him. He saw the lower halves of everybody who jumped. He swam back up. Once in the surface he saw they had fallen into the pool.

"Seriously?! Again?!" Ike shouted as his head popped into the surface, making everybody laugh out loud.

"Well, hello there…" A voice said. They all snapped their heads towards the source of the voice. What they say made them freeze in the spot. "That entrance had an enormous lack of grace." The woman standing fifteen feet away from them said as she shook her head.

"H-How…" Peach stuttered as she swam away from the woman. She hit with her back the opposite wall of the of pool.

"Hi." Another voice said in her ear. An eerily familiar said in her ear. She slowly turned her head to meet a pair of green eyes staring directly into her blue ones. She muffled a scream as she felt her eyes sting at the sight in front of her. Soon, a group of people… No, people and creatures walked out the shadows that the mansion casted at that time of the night. This made a chill run down their spines. When their faces became clear, all color drained off their face. The group of people and creatures made it to where the woman stood, enclosing her as they gathered together in what seemed a rehearsed position. A man blonde man with brown eyes walked out the group and smiled a sinister smile as he crossed is arms. His hands went for his pockets.

"Greetings…" He began as he scanned every face in front of him. "My name is Mario. A pleasure to finally meet you all." He said as the entire group of behind him flashed them an evil smile.
