Due to people asking for another chapter I decided to give you one last chapter to "A Certain Two Wheeler". This is for tfplover14, Makkena Witwicky, and sandifurclayton.
Oh, and I just realized that I pulled a really stupid move and got the quote wrong...I am so sorry guys. I rewatched Predacons Rising (but on the TV) and found out my mistake. Thing is I wrote the last chapter a little while after I watched it on YouTube but couldn't find the vid online again to confirm the quote. Sorry if you guys aren't happy about it but it's too late to change it. (it's actually "A powerful little two-wheeler I know" I have no idea how I screwed it up in my head sorry.) Oh, and the source that I learned about the longer movie from was apparently wrong because that apparently WAS the entire movie ugh.
Things had been going slow after Bumblebee confessed his feeling for Arcee. When everyone found out about the two of them they were all excited. They apparently had known that Bee had liked Arcee, the trick was figuring out if Arcee liked him back. That femme was sometimes as, if not more, secretive with her emotions than Optimus was. Speaking of the Prime they had built a memorial near the Well of Sparks for him so everyone would remember the sacrifice he made for the future of their race.
"So who's up for visiting the humans? I'm sure they'd love to hear about everything that's happened!" Bulhead exclaimed. The other guardians, of course, practically jumped at the opportunity to see their charges again. A few of the bots smirked at Arcee and Bumblebee, who were going to have to tell the humans about their relationship. That was not something they were looking forward to. They had no idea how they'd react to the news, especially Jack and Raf. Ultra Magnus opened the space bridge for them, deciding it would be a good idea for the bots to visit their friends. Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Smokescreen all ran through the bridge, surprising the humans on the other side.
"Bulkhead!"
"Bumblebee!"
"Arcee!"
Each child yelled out their guardian's name as they ran to their respective bots. Smokescreen's doorwings dropped a little at the feeling of being left out but was soon happy again when the humans greeted him as well. The bots then dove into an explanation of what had happened after they left. Ratchet apparently hadn't told them after returning so the others could tell their charges. Everyone looked saddened by the loss of Optimus and even had a short moment of silence for the fallen Prime. When the controls for the space bridge started to glitch Ratchet sighed and went to go work on them.
"Arcee, Bumblebee, I need you two to go to the storage unit to get some supplies for me so I can fix this." Ratchet said as he turned to said bots. Bulkhead and Smokescreen resisted the urge to smirk as the couple walked down the hall together. Arcee couldn't help but think about how the frag they were supposed to tell the humans about their relationship. She crossed her arms and sighed quietly as they neared the storage unit. Bee paused and placed a servo on her shoulder in worry.
"Arcee? Is everything alright?" He asked softly. She shrugged and gave him a weak smile. Bumblebee frowned and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him. He knew exactly what was going through her processor now. "I know that look in your optics, 'Cee. It happens whenever you think of your old partners or are unsure about something. I have a feeling it's the second one. Please tell me what's wrong, I want to help you. You know I'm here for you no matter what."
"I know Bee, it's just..." Arcee sighed and placed her forehelm on his chassis. Bee held her tighter comfortingly. "I have no idea how Jack's going to react to this. The humans have no clue about our relationship and he and Raf might be mad that we hid it from them for so long. I just don't want him or any of the other humans to feel like we betrayed them or something because we didn't tell them."
"Hey, the humans are more understanding than that, you and I both know that. We'll find some way to tell them what's going on. Until then, we're going to have to hope that they don't find out in a way that'll upset them." Bumblebee responded quietly with a small smirk. He knew she still had trust and abandonment issues after what happened to her during and before the war. Arcee gave a small smile and nodded in agreement. Miko, who had went looking for them because they were taking so long, turned the corner and saw them hugging and whispering. She smirked and took a picture with her phone. When Bumblebee and Arcee went into the storage unit to grab the supplies Miko ran back to the main room.
"Guys you won't BELIEVE what I just found out! Arcee and Bumblebee are DATING!" she exclaimed. Ratchet dropped whatever tool he was using and turned to her in shock. Jack and Raf were having problems picking their jaws up off the ground. June and Fowler shared surprised looks. Bulkhead and Smokescreen hid their mouths with their servos to hold back their laughter. Miko showed them all the pic she took and told them what she heard them say. Jack and Raf looked at each other, surprised that their guardians would be worried about their reaction. When Arcee and Bumblebee walked in everyone's eyes went to them. The two soldiers froze at the looks they were recieving. Miko grinned evilly. "Arcee and Bumblebee sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love, then comes marraige, then comes a sparkling in a sparkling carriage!"
"Miko...what are you talking about?" Bee asked hesitantly. Miko smirked and showed them the picture. Arcee facepalmed and groaned quietly. She didn't expect Miko, of all people, to be the first human to figure out that they were courting. Jack and Raf were still in a state of shock at the news. Arcee and Bee knew that there would be a bit of explaining that would have to be done. "Uh well, yeah Arcee and I are courting. I asked her out a couple days ago back on Cybertron. We were gonna tell you guys ourselves but I guess Miko found out first."
"That's AWESOME!" the children yelled, with identical grins. They were definitely excited for their friends. Arcee visibly relaxed at their reaction. It was way better than Jack and/or Raf getting mad or upset that they hadn't been informed earlier about their relationship. Ratchet grumbled about "secretive younglings" before getting back to work. Miko looked up at Arcee and Bee with a serious look, which surprised the two bots.
"Okay I gotta know, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO FOR YOUR FIRST DATE?" she shouted. Everyone cringed at how loud her voice got, but Bee and Arcee soon realized that they had no idea what the were going to do. Most of the bots were now trying to think of ideas, considering they wanted to help make sure that their friends were happy together. What better way to start than with an awesome first date? Smokescreen's doorwings perked up as an idea struck him.
"Hey, why don't you guys go to the Helix Gardens in Praxus? I grew up there and if they were restored like the rest of Cybertron, then it should be beautiful again." he suggested. Arcee was surprised that he was a Praxian, considering the city was originally Neutral until it was destroyed by decepticons. Once that was settled the bots spent some one-on-one time with their charges to catch up even more. After a long day of having fun it was time for the autobots to go back to Cybertron and continue rebuilding it. Smokescreen took Bumblebee aside and showed him a map of Praxus and told him how to get to the Helix Gardens. Bumblebee walked outside of the Iacon base to see Arcee standing there waiting for him.
"Shall we?" she asked with a smile. They both transformed and drove off for Praxus. It was a pretty long drive so they passed the time by talking about their pasts before the war. When they finally arrived at the entrance to the city they transformed and looked around. While it wasn't nearly as beautiful as it had once been, it was still a sight to behold. Bumblebee led Arcee in the direction of the Helix Gardens. When they arrived they couldn't help but gape at the blue crystals floating around (A/N I'm getting the info about the Helix Gardens from , so this is actually canon). "Wow, it's beautiful."
"Not as beautiful as you." Bee mumbled quietly before he could catch himself. Arcee smiled at him as they continued to walk. She pretended not to hear that because obviously Bee hadn't meant for her to. They found a bench and sat down to continue talking. Neither one of them had ever been to Praxus so it was a new experience for both of them. "Man, I heard stories about this place from Prowl. He sure wasn't kidding when he said Praxus' beauty surpasses the other cities."
"Gotta admit, I'm jealous of Smokescreen. Though I can't imagine what they went through when Praxus was destroyed." Arcee said as she looked down. Bee frowned and held her servo, giving it a reassuring squeeze. They continued to walk through the gardens, taking in the beautiful sight. Eventually they stumbled upon a tree with crystals with a branch big enough to support both of them. Arcee hopped up and gave Bumblebee a servo up. "Well now we get an amazing view without wearing out our pedes."
"Thank Primus for that!" Bumblebee laughed. Arcee smirked and shook her helm. They sat in silence for a few minutes just enjoying each others company. Bumblebee looked down and saw Arcee's servo next to him. He awkwardly and shyly placed his servo over her smaller one. Arcee looked a little surprised but turned her servo over and interlocked their fingers. They stayed like that for a few minutes. After a while Bumblebee turned to the femme beside him with a smile. "Thank you for coming with me."
"I wouldn't be anywhere else." Arcee answered as she turned her helm to face him. They slowly leaned in closer to each other. They had their optics closed waiting for their lips to meet. That's when images of Tailgate and Cliffjumper flashed through Arcee's processor. The last time she had gotten almost this close to someone they were offlined. She couldn't let that happen, not again. She opened her optic and pulled back. She looked away sadly. "We should probably get going before the others start to worry."
"Uh, yeah sure." Bumblebee said quietly. He sounded hurt and confused but didn't ask about why Arcee suddenly pulled away. They slowly walked back to base, not sure what exactly happened just then.
