A/N: Thank you, everyone, for the countless views and the even more spectacular reviews! I appreciate every single person who takes the time out of his or her day to write a review. It really helps.

This is super late, like over a year, and I feel absolutely terrible. I've been so busy with school and dance that I almost completely forgot about this…. I'm so sorry.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own Glee or any of the music that I may choose to feature in this.

Kurt was braving his way through the streets, trying to get back home to Blaine. People pushed past him, trying to get home as well. Some people showed glints of recognition towards Kurt but so many more showed none. Thank goodness I live only a couple blocks away from work.

Kurt walked towards Kin's Market and strolled right through the doors thinking about what aisle and section to go to. Kurt walked through the market and bought the stuff he needed in no time. He confidently strolled out the doors and continued walking home.

Kurt walked up the steps to his building where the doorman was waiting for him with the usual 'Evening Mister Hummel'. He replied with his usual 'Evening George' and a warm smile. He strolled to the elevator and pressed the button going up. Waiting for the elevator, Kurt checked his phone and saw that he had gotten 3 texts and 2 missed calls.

"Aw, crap" Kurt mumbled to himself. He unlocked his phone and saw a text from Blaine, Mercedes, and Burt. Blaine's text was a cute:

'Love you! Hurry up and get that cute ass of yours home!'

Mercedes' text was somewhat vague:

'Boy, we need to talk.'

Burt's was a simple:

'Good talking to you today, kiddo. Always changing lives. Good for you '

Kurt thought to himself, the calls must've been Mercedes. I'll call her later. Right then the elevator opened and Kurt stepped in, took out his key and put it into the slot, and pushed the highest button, taking him to the 55th floor.

The elevator ride gave Kurt a couple minutes to catch his breath after an exhausting day and gave him a chance to contemplate his thoughts for later.

The doors slid open and he stepped right into his apartment, as it was the penthouse. The far wall had floor to wall windows, just like his office, except there was an entrance to the balcony just outside. The floor was hardwood in the entire apartment, with carpets scattered in just the right places. Just outside the elevator, there was the entrance to the kitchen and living room (area, as Kurt liked to call it, as there were no walls in between the kitchen and it).

The kitchen was very modern and had shiny black appliances with an island in the middle covered in marble. The drawers and cupboards were a matching dark brown colour. The fridge was huge (much too big in Kurt's opinion but Blaine insisted) and Kurt swore that he could fit inside it without any shelves.

The living area was different compared to kitchen, but still kept up with the modern style to the place. The couch was a sleepy blue, which accented the love seat of dark brown just to the left of it. The coffee table, which had been bought at a garage sale Kurt had dragged Blaine to, was a delightful mahogany to match the dining room table. An off-white carpet, that was so soft Kurt had fallen asleep on it a couple times (so had Blaine but he liked to tease Kurt about finding him in the morning with carpet marks on his face so he decided not to tell him), was laid down underneath the furniture.

The dining room was slightly more elegant than the rest of apartment. Kurt and Blaine only ate in there when they had people over or just felt like it but they usually ate at the island in the kitchen. There was a unique painting on the wall, nearest the table, by a rather unknown artist but Blaine really liked the painting so Kurt bought it for him for his birthday just the year before.

In the almost corner of the penthouse, was a drawing board with vogue magazines scattered around it and a Yamaha A3R guitar sat beside signed by Billy Joel. Blaine nearly screamed when he saw his guitar that morning. At first he thought it was a scratch but then he looked closer and had to clamp his hand over his mouth to stop him from screaming.

Kurt stepped into the entrance and was hanging up his coat on the coat rack when he was greeted with a loving hug around his waist.

"Hi" Kurt relaxed.

"Hi" Blaine mumbled into Kurt's back, "How was the rest of your day?"

"It was hectic. Just nearly finished the edits for the deadline," Kurt paused to turn around. "How was yours?"

"Fun! After I left your work, I ran into Wes and David. They said they were in the city for a week and I invited them to dinner tomorrow. It that good or is there something else we're doing?"

"Nope, we're as clear at scotch tape." Kurt laughed assuringly, "Why are they in the city? I thought they both went to Browns?"

"Well, they're in their final year and it's their break between semesters. They rented an apartment for a month and are sight-seeing together."

"I swear, if I didn't know any better, those two could be gay for each other." Kurt said jokingly.

"You'll actually be interested to know that they practically were for a month in Dalton" Blaine said casually.

"Wait, what? Sorry, you'll have to tell me more." Kurt asked, so involved in the story.

"Well, when I was at Dalton for my second year, there was this Truth or Dare game going through practically the entire school." Blaine said as he led Kurt to the kitchen. "So it was Jeff's turn and he asked David. He picked Dare. Jeff didn't give him the dare right away because he needed it to be perfect."

"Wait, wait, wait… there was a school-wide truth or dare game?" Kurt asked.

"Yeah"

"Well, how did you know whose turn it was?"

"I don't know, sometimes there were multiple truths and dares going on at the same time… anyways-"

"-Damn, Dalton is weird."

"As I was saying - there was the rule that you didn't have to tell them the dare or ask them the truth right away. David had to wait two weeks, the whole time him being on edge, until Jeff told him the dare. He had to act like a couple with Wes. Hold hands; be all cuddly, for an entire month. You weren't allowed to chicken out, so he had to do it."

"Did they follow through with it?" Kurt asked. Blaine was unloading the groceries and Kurt was sitting on one of the stools by the island.

"Boy, did they! Some people didn't even know David had been dared. Some people truly thought that David and Wes went gay for each other. It was hysterical. They held hands in between classes and everything. When we would have movie marathons, they would cuddle up and rest their heads on each other's shoulders. It was definitely the best dare that anyone came up with that year. No one has topped it."

"I would have loved to see those two like that. I don't think I'll ever look at them the same when we see them tomorrow." Kurt, realizing it was already 7:30 started to bustle around the kitchen.

"Woah, what's the rush here?" Blaine asked.

"The new season of American Idol is on at 8!" Kurt said excitedly, "Don't you want to see how bad people sing?"

"True, true."

The dinner was perfect, nothing burned, and American Idol was funny as ever with people trying out who obviously couldn't sing. The two put the dishes in the dishwasher and were tidying up when the buzzer rang for them.

"Who could that be? It's like 10:30." Kurt asked Blaine.

"I've literally got no idea." Blaine answered back.

They walked to the elevator door, and pressed the button on the buzzer.

"Hello?" Kurt anxiously asked.

"Hello? Hello?" The voice seemed familiar but they both couldn't place it. It wasn't entirely too deep, but it was definitely a man's voice.

"I'm sorry, but who is this?" Kurt asked the voice.

There was a pause and a cough before the voice came back.

"Don't you know?"

"I really don't, sorry."

"Sebastian Smythe"

Kurt lifted his finger off the button for the buzzer and looked at Blaine who looked terrified. They hadn't exactly parted with Sebastian on good terms.

Kurt tenderly pressed the button again and spoke into it.

"What are you doing here Sebastian?"

"I asked some of the old Warblers where I could find you. I figured you would both be in New York somewhere. I remember you two talking about living there when you were older. Anyways, I asked Trent and he reluctantly told me where you two lived. I came to apologize. And I would like to. Properly. Face-to-face. Would you mind letting me up?"

"Just a second," Kurt lifted his finger off the buzzer once again and turned to Blaine, "Should we? I mean, I know we weren't exactly the best of friends, but he did come a long way and we should at least give him a chance, right?"

"Kurt, I don't know. I really don't. He nearly put me in a coma! He gave you a broken arm! I don't trust him," Blaine said, suspicious of Sebastian. "If you feel that we should give him a small chance, then okay. But promise me that if he even puts a toe over the line, we tell him to leave."

"Promise." Kurt respectfully agreed. He turned back to the buzzer and once more pressed the button. "Okay Sebastian, you can come up. But you have to behave. Agreed?"

"Agreed."

Kurt reluctantly pressed the button so Sebastian could come up the elevator.

Well, Kurt thought, this should be interesting.

Sneak Peek for the new story:

Sitting at the top of the slide, Kurt, who was five, was contemplating whether or not to go down it. It was a double slide so Kurt watched as a bunch of other kids went down it. Until a curly haired boy-that's all he could see from the corner of his eye- plopped down beside him and frowned.

"Aren't you going to go down?" Kurt asked.

"Maybe. I'm thinking. Aren't you going to?" The boy replied.

"Maybe. I'm thinking too," Kurt answered. The other kids on the playground were getting impatient with the two and decided to play on the other parts of the jungle gym.

"What if we go down together?" The boy suggested after a couple minutes.

"What do you mean? Like hold hands? Aren't boys not supposed to do that?" Kurt asked him.

"Yes, but who cares?" He replied.
