GL and Flash began the preflight ritual, checking various gadgets and gizmos only Cyborg knew the names of...

BB was running around the ship like a crazy kid who had just been taken to the toy store and didn't know where to start.

"Cooooool" Beast Boy said, almost touching a button that would activate a proton torpedo.

"Don't touch that." Flash said quickly, running and slapping BB's hands away. "Do you really need to touch everything inside this ship?" Flash asked the young Titan.

"You're one to talk Flash." GL said from the pilot chair.

"Touche." F;ash ran back to the copilot seat and finished the prep.

Not a second later, they took off, their destination... The Metrotower.

Cyborg was talking to GL through the entire flight, trying to understand the aerodynamics and power source of the Javelin.

Beast Boy went to the mini kitchen and grabbed some non-meat based food, and devoured it. He also grabbed a soda before sitting in his seat as GL had instructed when they took off.

Raven spent it meditating, hoping she could find some clue about why Robin had left Batman in the first place... He had always avoided the subject whenever Batman was brought up... he even threw a Rob-disk at the TV when Beast Boy brought home a fake Batman and Robin video where Batman kills Robin in the end.

She wanted to know what had happened to make the 2 so distant... because what she did know, was that Batman had taken Robin in when the latter's parents were murdered. But Raven didn't know who Batman was under the cowl, and Azarath was not releasing that information.

She focused on Azarath... allowing his ancient spirit to fill her up... She could feel the magic in her rubbing up against some kind of pyschological barrier... her mind was deliberately blocking Azarath from helping her.

To overcome the barrier she focused on the origins of Azararth.

The First Azar was a young follower of an ancient being no one knew the name of... but the legend was that he created the Earth, the Universe, and everything inbetween, along with anything inside or outside either/or. He was the first organism and, in an effort to destroy his loneliness, he created Helios ... the first planet. But he didn't want just one species, he wanted options... so instead he set Helios to an intense conflagration and created 11 planets that would orbit Helios. He named them Mercury, Venus, Terra, Luna, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Krypton, and Azarath.

After a few millenia Azarath planned changes for the currently equal planets and decided to destroy the thriving metropoleis by moving them all to Terra, so he broke Luna down and set it to orbit Terra, making Terra the unofficial capital of this new universe he created. He then altered each planet, making Mercury closer to Helios, Venus warmer, Terra (coupled with Luna) had additional organisms... millions of beings, Mars was turned red Jupiter was made larger, Saturn recieved an asteroid belt, Uranus was set to spin abnormally, Neptune gained the power of wind, Pluto was almost completely decimated and was set to the near size of Luna, Krypton was morphed into a flatter form (which eventually led future Terrans to believe their planet was flat as well) and also was not made of soil, but of a crystallic structure Azarath called Krpyonite, finally he altered Azarath to be his headquarters... he used it and built fabulous sculptures which kept him entertained from the planets for a near a 100,000 years.

When boredom overtook him, he decided to increase Terra's temperature, in order to alter the species growing there. But he inadvertantly killed the species, and in turn had to create an entirely new species... the Terrans.

He added more and more energy to each planet, eventually he gave so much energy to Helios that it pulled the planets closer to it... Then he named it Son, which in turned was changed by the Terrans to Sun.

He also left this galaxy unattended, in order to create more and more galaxies where he could have a species as grand as the Terrans were becoming... they were near perfection. They knew how to manipulate energy, properly honored his being without becoming total slaves, and learned to survive on their own.

He had dissapeared for near 1,000,000 years, leaving Terra as a thriving metropolis... the model of the Deity that created it. In his absence, he created 3599 other places he called sectors. He created an overall unneccesary police force; the Guardians, and gave them a direct line to his magic.

When he returned to Terra after his lengthy absence he learned that it was a model of truth and justice.

In honor of the good news, Azarath began creating Azarathians who would protect their home planet of Azarath. Not long after their creation, Azarath inadvertantly created a being that was bent on destroying his creator.

Trigon moved to destroy Azarath, who in turn banished the traitor to a nether-dimension where he'd be left for all eternity.

Whe Azarath realized he could make more dimensions, he quickly created alternate worlds where things were different in small ways. But at the source of all galaxies and alternate worlds... was he himself... Azarath.

He also fabricated time, in order to estimate how long it took for each civilization to grow... he planned to use that information to perfect a subsidient race that would live on Helios.

However, Trigon learned the antecedent of Azarath's powers and broke free of his prison, nearly destroying the latter.

Trigon was again banished to a new dimension.

Azarath avoided the universes for 20 million years... letting them grow and change on their own... but in his weakened state, Azarath was unable to assist them with his magic... Once he was rested he returned to his other universes, sure that Terra was all right.. in turn the Terrans were nearly obliterated by natural causes.

50plus million years later the Terrans returned, but named themselves as Humans. also changing their planet name to Earth.

Realizing his failure he dabbled magic into their lives, accelerating their civilization... but he gave them too much power and was forced to leave the Earth and let it live on its own.

As Azarath was a peaceful being, he had no choice but to obey their wishes.

Out of boredom, Azarath moved Krypton into a nearby galaxy, and hid Azarath (planet) in a nether dimension on the other side of the spectrum from Tirgon's prison.

Raven felt a familiar sensation of lifting out of her body and entering the world of Azarath.

The 2 Titans landed on a bulding Robin knew well. It was the top of the police station in Gotham City... Starfire only stopped because Robin had insisted they call the other Titans.

"Cyborg? Come in Cyborg." Robin said to the small communicator.

Starfire was studying her boyfriend carefully, he looked different, older... almost broken. Like he had just aged 60 years... but he was still trapped inside Robin's body.

"Cyborg here, where are you?" The cyborg asked.

"Gotham Police Department... get here quickly, over and out." Robin didn't waste time on a long conversation and shut the communicator off.

"Robin... why are you so upset?" Starfire asked.

"Batman." Robin said, spitting his name out like a curse.

Neither said a word until the other Titans arrived alongside Green Lantern and Flash.
