Akuduo slept in the warmth of his master's bed, even if she would tell him to get off when she came back from her 'relaxing bath', who would willingly go near water? She was certainly the oddest creature he had met but she was...nice, unlike Him who had left Akuduo...Left him all alone...'Why am is Akuduo thinking of him? Akuduo should just forget about him! He has a new master now!' he yawned and curled up more thickly in the warm spot his master had left.

"Akuduo? Are you the-" She sighed " Oh great, he fell asleep on my bed...who cares I'm going to work anyway"

She shook him half awake and said she was leaving to go to work. Akuduo curled up more tightly and fell asleep, "Just five more hours"

"Right, nocturnal, huh? He'll probably be out until nightfall...that should keep him out of trouble for the day!" She laughed as she ran out the front door.

~Five hours Later~

Akuduo yawned...he was hungry, but master wasn't home...oh well, he was sure she wouldn't mind. Five minutes later he found out that Scratch could open the fridge just fine! Who needed hands when you had paws!

She opened her door and blanked. Five minutes later her broken heart registered her fridge that had all her ice cream, her mind Akuduo,her subconscious that she could run and catch him.

"Please Master I'm sorry!" her anger melted at his forlorn, sad face with tears streaming down...he was really sorry wasn't he, "I-ah-I-ah-I didn't w-want to make you s-s-sah sad!"

He thought she was sad? it was just ice cream! He was like a puppy, licking your face when it chewed your shoes while dragging itself nibbling on your pants. He just didn't think about it, " I-I...I...I'm sorry Akuduo I-I'm so sorry!" She began to cry, why? WHY was the only thing she could do cry and get upset? She could't comfort her friends, she couldn't even help them! She just couldn't help anybody and Akuduo was going to suffer for it.

She felt a warm tongue on her face. 'W-what?' what was he doing!? Akuduo smiled at her, protectively, supportively. His smile had warmth, not the warmth of the people at the university, treating her like a useless girl who might as well as just help Team Plasma. They hated her, blamed her, she was there they said but she had lost all the battles, all the plasma grunts she tried to stop had easily defeated her. The Resistance had so far rejected her. But Akuduo, he didn't. But worse yet as he licked her tears and purred as he rubbed his head into her belly, she was extremely scared about him depending on her as much as she did him. She who couldn't support or protect anything would have to do so for him like he had done for her a week ago.

"Why the hell is she here? She's completely useless!" A blonde scientist hissed at her companion, who flashed a lecherous grin at Bianca Bell the new intern at the National Unova University, had promised her it would be a learning experience. She wasn't used to the mocking glares and whispered insults, in her home town they already knew she was useless, why mock her for it? but this was a whole new ball field.

"U-Um Juniper!" She called out maybe if she hurried him along she could get away from them.

"Can't you see he's busy!?" A Dark-skinned man hissed from beside her, he pushed his glasses up on his nose " I know you think your so important but people have actual work to do!"

Prof. Juniper turned to the sight of her running away with tears in her eyes, by the time he called her name she was already out the door. She ran across the pedestrian crossing and screamed as a car moved a few feet forward, 'T-the light was red! Why would they-!?' She ran into the park, the only place people could see pokemon, like pidoves and duckletts. She crashed right into a ducklett, her foot coming down on it's tail. it turned around and honked at her spraying her with a powerful blast of water that knocked her back, right into a tall, white-haired boy around nineteen. She clutched his black T-shirt "P-puhlease! P-please help me!" She crashed down at his feet, tears running down her cheeks. She couldn't take it any more!
He blinked at her then turned toward the advancing ducklett, his mind piecing together her sobs "h-help me, help m-me, puh-puhlease" The swanna shot a blast of water he dodged expertly and flashed glowing green eyes at it.
It shrieked it at him and blasted at him with water, he dodged again and rammed at it with blinding speed.
His fingertips grew black until they extended and hardened into claws, his black shirt turning into a white puffy fur collared blue jacket with a white pleated lower half, his hands became covered in white fur and his bare toes became claw like. His ankle extending away slightly, the front part of his feet bending forward to hold him upright. His black jeans became grey and teal, black cargo pants. A black jewel appeared on his forehead shining as black as night, alongside it was an ear like a black metallic sickle from the side of his head, similar to the curved triangular tail he grew which was about the size and length of his upper arm.

He glowed black for a moment and disappeared it looked around then turned towards the girl still angry until- he appeared behind it and bit down hard it shrieked in pain before going limp he threw it down then trotted towards her. She blinked open her eyes and stared at the boy- in different clothes?- moving towards her on all fours, his oddly shaped feet which seemed cloven, helping him move with natural stalking ease. She heard shouts as he nuzzled her face " I save knew Master! Will she keep me?" She grabbed his hand and ran, she didn't know what he was but she wasn't going to let him get jailed for saving her!

a plasma grunt came unto the scene, a ducklett was lying down with...bite marks? There weren't any lilipups near the city! wait no these seemed too big! a herdier? A trained pokemon!? She ran off in the distance, she had to alert her commanding officer!
