"You can't leave." Owen said as he turned to look at Cristina, he still held Teagan in his arms while Cristina had slouched into his embrace and laid her head on his shoulder. She looked up at him and struggled to find something to say.

Cristina let out a defeated sigh before replying, "I wish I could stay here, everybody I love is here, but I'm on contract for another year."

Owen couldn't hide the disappointment in his face, he leaned down and gave Cristina a kiss on the forehead before turning his attention back to Teagan.

"You know, she looks like you could of given birth to her." He said almost dreamily as he stated down at the baby. "We would of made such a unique and beautiful baby together." He added before he caught himself, he hadn't meant to say that out loud and he closed his eyes and noticeably flinched at what Cristina might say after his word vomit got the best of him.

To his surprise she remained calm, Cristina smiled down at Teagan while the baby played with her pointer finger, clutching it in her little palm before putting it in her mouth. "Leah hoped that Teagan would change my view on having a baby, she even hoped that I would find a good man one day and give her a sibling." Cristina said as she met Owens eyes. "But she is so young right now, and such a handful, I don't think she will be getting a sibling any time soon."

Owen's breath caught in his throat, did that mean that in the future Cristina would want to have another baby?

"I want to be with you Cristina, I want us to be a family, I would be such a good father to Teagan, and I don't need another baby, all I wanted was one, and this one…" He said while gesturing his head toward Teagan, "She is perfect, just like her mother."

Cristina smiled at him, she had a twinkle in her eye that he had not seen since they were happily married, "You wouldn't be a good father, you would be a great father." She stated.

"Then stay here with me, or I will come to Boston with you until you finish your contract." Owen couldn't imagine letting her go after they had just found each other again. "You can't leave your position as chief to follow me across the country." Cristina pointed out.

"There has to be a reason that you came back in my life, there has to be a reason why Leah came into your life and why she left you her baby, can't you see? The world wants us to be together."

Cristina knew that he was right, she would never settle down with another man if it were not Owen, she knew that even before she left Seattle, she knew it when she told him they should see other people, but she couldn't be as selfish as to keep him from something he was born to be, something his heart couldn't deny, and something she thought she could never give him. Now here they were, and she was the one with a baby, while he was still single and still had not become a father.

Maybe Owen was right, she thought. Maybe everything does happen for a reason, maybe all the choices they made were meant to lead them right back here, together, where they belonged.

"You might be right about that, I kind of gave up hope on finding love when I left, I knew that if it wasn't going to be you, then it couldn't be anyone else, so I just kind of stopped looking, that or I stopped believing that I would ever have a happy ending." She stated a little bit embarrassed because she never believed in happy endings and now she had a shot at a second chance.

Owen smiled down at her again, "Call me crazy, but somehow I just knew that life would bring us back in the same place and same time, I can't explain it but there was this small part of me, so minimal that I didn't even know it was there. It gave me a sense of solace whenever I wanted to give up, it was like a small flame that wouldn't die and over time I tried to convince myself to move on and find someone and get married and start a family, that small flame would turn into a huge forest fire and wouldn't let me move on."

"And now I know why, because deep down inside I knew that someday, somehow we would find our way back to each other because we are suppose to be together, its written somewhere."

Cristina removed her head from his shoulder and turned to face him before tilting her head and showering him with small little chaste kisses, she kept giving him little pecks before he caught her lips and deepened the kiss. Just as soon as she allowed his tongue to enter her mouth, Teagan let out a frustrated wail. She did not seem to be happy that the attention was taken off of her.

Cristina smiled against his lips, "See, these little creatures are so cute and cuddly but they ruin your sex life, not that it has been an issue or anything before…." She confessed

Owen gave her another kiss while rocking Teagan from side to side in his arms. "You don't know how glad I'am to hear that." He said after breaking the kiss. "The part about it not being an issue before." He raised his eyebrows in an attempt to clarify what he meant. "Plus they do go to sleep sometimes you know, and sex has never really been an issue between us."

"No, it certainly hasn't." She said as she looked at him with eyes full of lust and simultaneously licked her lips.

Owen cleared his throat and looked away from her for a second, he felt his cheeks flush and a shot of electricity run throughout his body.

"Maybe we can find Minka and let her take care of teagan for a little while," He coughed again, "And I could show you around the hospital, let you get reacquainted, we have added a lot of new upgrades since you've left." He looked at her with hopeful eyes.

"I'd like that." She answered while lightly tracing his jaw line with her finger before starting to trace the lines around his face, she had missed his face so much, it was surreal to be able to feel his skin underneath her fingertips rather then try to imagine it from memory. "I missed you." She said just below a whisper. Owen sighed "I missed you too."

After spending hours admiring Teagan and holding Cristina, Owen knew he had to figure out a way to make Cristina stay. He would have packed everything and moved to Boston with her in a second, but he knew she missed Seattle, everyone she loved was here, she had said it herself, it was much easier for her to relocate with Teagan then to bring all her closest friends and their families to Boston. If theres a will then there's a way, Owen thought. And he was going to do everything in his power to make sure he didn't lose Cristina again.

They found Minka at the daycare getting to know all of Cristina's friends' kids. They handed over Teagan before making their way around the hospital.

Owen gave her a grand tour, showing her all the new amenities they had added and introduced her to some of the new staff. A lot of the residents and interns huddled together and looked on admiringly, all wanting to introduce themselves to her and wondering if she would be offered a job at GSM. After walking around the whole hospital and seeing everything that could be seen, they walked side by side, stealing glances at one another every chance they could get, the tension building as the seconds trickled down but neither said anything.

Cristina spotted a very special place that had been witness to a lot of wonderful memories for Owen and her as a couple. She decided to break the silence while walking toward her desired destination.

"Oh, hey…so, have you updated the on-call rooms, renovated them any?" She coyly asked without stopping.

"uhhh, no, they're still the same." He replied while shaking his head a little and knitting his eyebrows, totally oblivious to her inclination. She turned her body to face him and gave him that look, the one that always let him know exactly what she was thinking and what she had in mind.

He raised his eyebrows when he realized what she meant as a knowing grin appeared on his face and quickly to control of the situation.

"Well we did get new sheets, egyptian cotton, because most doctors spend more time at the hospital then at home we decided to splurge on them, they're very comfortable." He stated, "I could show you…" He nodded towards the on call room to their right.

Cristina smiled, "You really are cute when your slow." She stated before Owen turned the nob and let her into the room. "There's nothing cute about what I'm about to do to you.' He said huskily in her ear and sent chills of anticipation up and down her spine before closing the door behind them.
