Ivan slept in one of the guest rooms that night and shortly after Dimitri and I fell asleep. I had never imagined falling asleep in his arms would be so completely perfect. His arms were warm and strong and for once, since I had the strength to leave Adrian, I felt safe. Dimitri lightly snored in his sleep and I found the sound relaxing. It lulled me to sleep quickly; minutes after he had fallen asleep and Dess stayed asleep the rest of the night. That night I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
Ring. Ring. Riiing. The stupid alarm clock went off and I went to hit it but found it wasn't on my bedside... And that this bed was not mine. I immediately remembered where I was and smiled before leaning over the bed and turned off his alarm clock. I looked over to the pack and play and noticed Aradessa wasn't in it but I could smell bacon. I walked out in my pj shorts and cammi to hear laughing and my princess' giggling. Dimitri was cooking bacon, eggs, and home fries and I saw some sort of bread on the table. He was holding Dessa in his arms while occasionally flipping everything and Ivan was munching on the bread and a piece of bacon. I smiled at Ivan before taking a piece of bacon and wrapping my arms around Dimitri's waist. He gave me a kiss and handed my princess to me who started fidgeting, hungry. I grabbed a blanket and put it over her while she fed, Dimitri feeding me like a little kid. It was only five but I knew I had to leave soon to drop Dessa off.
"You are so beautiful in the morning." He kissed me, pressing Dessa in between us causing her to bite me.
"ouch!" I yelped. she never really bit down before so it shocked me.
"Baby! What happened?" Dimitri asked worriedly and Ivan looked at me with worry.
"She bit me." I pouted and both men looked at my face and started laughing. "It's not funny!" I whined, causing them to laugh harder.
"Sorry, my love. You are just so cute when you pout." He kissed me before lifting the blanket to see I smiling Dessa. "Milaya, that wasn't very nice to bit momma." He kissed her forehead before taking her, muttering in Russian. I fixed my shirt and grabbed my bags.
"Baby, me and Dessa have to go home as much as I love your company." I kissed him and he helped load up the car.
"I'll meet you at the school beautiful." I smiled and drove home. It was still dark out but the sun was starting to rise and it was beautiful. What a perfect way to end a perfect night. I pulled into the drive and grabbed Dess and her diaper bag, not bothering with my stuff. The house was all quiet and I came into the kitchen. Everyone was in there not speaking.
"Rose, where were you last night?" My uncle asked quietly they all looked so sad.
"What happened?" I demanded.
"What happened is your dad called after not getting a hold of you. Adrian had called threatening Dessa. We were worried sick. You know we don't care where you go but we do expect the truth so we can keep you safe and know you are safe." He looked so crushed before he broke down and gave me a hug. I felt so bad.
"I ended up staying with a friend. I didn't think of it. I am so sorry. I wasn't lying, I really was going to my parents but I just couldn't... I can't completely forgive them." Lissa ran to me sobbing.
"I was so worried about you and Dess. I am so glad you are okay!" She sobbed. "We thought he hurt you or her." I hugged her tightly.
"I am so sorry Liss. I never meant to worry you." I said before handing Dessa to Rhea. "We should get going. I am really sorry. I will check in." They nodded great fully and Lissa got in my car, Andre in his like always.
"Now Where were you really Rose? Was it a boy?" Lissa gushed, now that her worry was gone. I smiled and blushed. Then she seemed to think it over and gasped. "You were with him weren't you... With Dimitri?"
"How.. What... No!" I stuttered and she gave me a look. Damn we are screwed. We were way too obvious. Fuck.
